MaxInDHouse: If you believe there are real benefits in war are you saying Jesus doesn't know what he is saying?🙂
There's a difference between saying authoritatively, "If someone rapes a daughter of yours you should also give him the other daughter to rape" and saying "Jesus implied that if someone rapes a daughter of yours you should also give him the other daughter to rape" Likewise: "A rich man will never go to heaven" and "Jesus implied a rich man will never go to heaven"
MaxInDHouse: Because i believe in Jesus who taught his disciples that nothing good comes out of war!🙂
So next time say "Jesus taught his disciples...". Don't independently and arrogantly state there are no benefits to war, when the benefits are right there, starring you in the face!
MaxInDHouse: If you already think there is nothing good in what Jesus has to say on the subject why did you quote me in the first place? You've always said evil things about me for sticking to whatever Jesus taught and i'm ok with that after all Jesus said you people will do exactly what people like you did to him to his disciples. Matthew 10:24-25 What really baffles me is that it's a Pope whose religion has been known for wars in the past that outrightly condemned war yet you want to accuse me for holding onto that opinion!🤔
You made no reference to Jesus whatsoever when you were asking the BENEFITS OF WAR. Now that you've lost the argument you're all about Jesus! Wehdone
MaxInDHouse: The fact remains that most people just want to be identified with Jesus but deep down their hearts Jesus doesn't worth being their leader. Matthew 15:7-8
We,are NOT discussing Jesus. We are discussing the BENEFITS OF WAR. You are the one who asked what they are in capitals. You are also the one who said there are none - without mentioning Jesus
MaxInDHouse: It's somehow funny that you keep on changing the subject. You are asking for the benefit of WAR from people who don't believe in WAR when the Catholic Pope whose people believe in WAR told you it doesn't bring any benefit. OK you decided to change the topic by asking me what should Israel do when Iran wants to fight them and i asked you if you will welcome what the world's most wonderful counselor said on the matter. Now you want to change the subject again. Abeg which one you dey gangan?🤔
I think you're becoming a bit confused. YOU are the one asking the BENEFITS OF WAR (you put it in capitals).
Now instead of stating whatever your reply is (I know you have no reasonable reply), you are engaging in diversionary subtafuge of "changing the subject". Never mind about who is or is not changing subjects, just go ahead and state your nonexistent reply
MaxInDHouse: If you want to change the topic you will humbly ask for understanding not just cutting in without thinking straight. Would you like to know what Jesus said on that note?
You asked for the BENEFITS OF WAR (in capitals). You've been given the benefits of war from all sorts of different angles, yet you keep repeating the same question.
BTW you missed these parts of the post:
"You are sitting on the countless lives that were lost during the crusades protecting nations against colonization by Islamic overlords who were bent on dominating and Islamizing the entire world"
"How do you secure a safe, fair, just, equitable, progressive, secure, and corruption-free enclave amidst people intent on terminating your existence?"
SIRTee15: Guy rest, Nigerians get shame die. Home or abroad. We are cautious how we express ourself.
Waka with Jamaicans, u will understand what dat guy is saying.
What u should say is Nigerians are lawless. We behave anyhow where there's no rule of law. Let them bring severe punishment for being loud and u will see how Nigerians will suddenly become the most quiet people in the world. That's why our politicians loot like no tmrw- because they will be celebrated rather than punish. Nigerians in public office abroad fear pass anything. See as dem disgrace that one who is Alberta attorney general just because of phone call to police chief.
It is not me that wrote this below. But anywho do you really agree with the guy that the most shameless are the most successful?? It takes a certain amount of discipline, introspection, and decorum to be very successful. I don't know any richest person who is the wildest of his group. They're usually the buttoned-down, suit-and-tie sort (with few exceptions). The wildest abd most shameless in any group may get some traction but they're rarely the most successful. The most successful are usually the very disciplined ones who quietly observe then work very hard and smart based on their observation
themanderon: You know that's not possible. So everyday they will just be steering at each other without touching themselves? Abomination that worketh desolation. This generation is cursed with all sorts of outlandish and outrageous monstrosities. Look at them laughing their way to hell.
There are sexless marriages all over but just assume it is possible for them not to have sex, will it be okay?
It's actually not a laughing matter. All Iranian leaders are dead, their potential successors also dead. So there is basically no one person that can say authoritatively he is speaking for Iran. That's the disadvantage of killing all the leaders - there is no one single person you can negotiate with and know for sure they speak for Iran
You have to first ask, WHO is "Iran" Answer: it can be any Iranian in govt. So obviously Trump is right - he's talking to somebody. But whether that person is Iran is another matter altogether
Kenobsky: Rented or not rented Tinubu is a goner. Naira land is missing people like: Slaworrmir. NwaAmaikpe. Mejiloyon. This are the men who make this forum become more interesting. Seun has spoiled this forum for unnecessary ban.
They're all still here under different monikers - unless dead. People never leave Nairaland. Leave and go where?? Not as if there's an alternative
ogaemma: 50M These guys knows how to cash out clean money. At least they are more intelligent than Nigeria politicians who only source of livelihood is government money.
People like being entertained. Same reason footballers make millions just for kicking a round object around!
ChizzyBuna: Portable taught me something about LIFE
There is no manual to make it in life It's not by going to best school in UK. I know one big PDP guy her daughter go the top schools. Still she be drug addict. Coke Nothing to write home about. Very sad
While a shameless agbero dey chop 50 million Money wey lecturers wey carry dignity and prestige for head like gala No fit see or taste for this life. Lai lai
One thing no school will ever teach you is To be successful in life you have to throw away SHAME. Remove shame.
I saw an old video of Fela in an interview I will never forget what he said
"Shame is what our parents used to control and condition us from reaching our true potential in life. Look at me, I don't have any shame."
A man who wears only pant is not afraid of anything. He is not afraid of Life. Because there is no shame. All of Fela mates that claim righteous and care what others will say about them. Carry masters degree, PhD, Honorary etc Nobody remember them till this day
But 40 years later Fela is still talked about Infact A dead fela still win GRAMMY
Only the shameless win in LIFE.
Now back to portable Portable has no shame and that is why he is popular Carter Efe has no shame and he us popular Ishowspeed, peller .. no single shame. Now see both of them chopping tens of millions like it's nothing.
You that have Shame still struggling with 20k per month salary Dey play my fans
Only the brave will enjoy this earth The shy timid good boys will be slaves to the system and die off with peanuts.
If you like allow Shame to put you in cage
King David that danced naked in temple Had no bloody SHAME. God has a way of rewarding those that have no shame.
Every successful person I know has no SHAME.
Thank you
So how come Nigeria, the most shameless country in the world, is not the most successful??
But in most parts of the world people don't pay ridiculous amounts of money for a form. Call it another name, don't say it's just for a form. Nigerians are just used to corruption and things not making sense
EpicDude123: You are a very big fool Adele abi what is that your name again
His name is Adebayo Adelabu, grandson of renowned Nigerian politician, Gbadamosi Adegoke Adelabu (3 September 1915 – 25 March 1958). Adelabu received a first class degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.[7] He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN),
Fictional: Walk into many schools in Nigeria today and you will notice something interesting.
Some pupils look like little bankers. Some look like they are going to a wedding. Some look like they are attending a fashion show.
Blazers. Suits. Ties. Waistcoats. Different coloured socks.
It raises a simple question.
What exactly is the purpose of a school uniform?
Pause.
School uniforms did not start as fashion. They started as a symbol of equality.
Across the world, school uniforms were created to send a message.
“We are one here.”
Whether a child came from a rich home or a struggling family, once they wore that uniform, they belonged. No competition. No pressure. Just learning.
In many countries, uniforms are simple.
A shirt. A skirt or shorts. Sometimes a sweater when the weather is cold.
Nothing dramatic. Nothing stressful.
Because the focus is school… not appearance.
But in many modern Nigerian schools today, things are changing.
Some schools now have four, five, even seven different uniforms.
Monday uniform. Sports wear. Cultural day wear. House wear. Friday wear. Blazer day. Club wear.
Pause again.
Is this still about education… or about appearance?
OP u r right. Like everything in Nigeria, private schools (especially in Lagos) have become corrupt and demonic. They basically focus on snobbery and making money. Govt truly needs to step in
saintopus: Education today is facing lots of different challenges. Uniforms are the smallest amongst those challenges. Parents are gradually shifting from the normal Education to skills acquisition. This trend I think will continue.
Did you read the article at all or you just rushed to comment? OP is talking about mostly Lagos private schools by the way
