You guys no little about privacy even in a public space. Do you know you do not even have the right to talk to a woman you do not know in a public space. To toast a babe you do not know is not a right it is a " PREVILEDGE " . In most societies outside Africa it is every man for himself and the law defends personal space in public spaces. You have no right to record anyone because you do not own them. Let me repeat what I said " you have no right over what you do not own or what you did not buy ". How can you record someone in public ? Does the person know you ? Does the person want to be recorded . All you guys are behaving like that man who got into trouble by recording the security adviser, he even said it in public and got himself into trouble. You guys don't know the Laws of Copyright and ownership and are just talking anyhow.

Just like all those guys who are doing deepfake of babes they know and putting it on the internet, how can you UnCloth your ex-girlfriend and put it online ? Mercy Ojedeji- a Nigerian from yoruba ancestry admitted to submitting counterfeit academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a fake English proficiency report, and a falsified résumé to gain admission to the University of Missouri’s chemistry PhD programme in 2023. The documents also enabled him to obtain a student visa and a financial package worth over $49,000.
U.S. authorities say Ojedeji became the focus of a wider investigation into romance fraud after postal inspectors received complaints about cash and gift cards being mailed to his partner’s address.
Between December 2023 and early January 2024, at least 35 packages linked to Nigerian IP addresses were delivered to the address. Investigators say more than 190 packages were sent there during his relationship with the woman.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office claims that the intended financial loss could exceed $1 million, based on cash and items recovered from 17 of the seized packages. Ojedeji, however, continues to deny involvement in the romance scam itself.
He pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of using fraudulent immigration documents. He faces up to 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for July 10.

The case has drawn attention in West Africa, where similar fraudulent document schemes have raised concerns about the ease with which falsified records are used to exploit foreign admissions systems. It also highlights the broader implications of cyber-enabled fraud linked to parts of the region.

The investigation was led by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, with support from the FBI and local law enforcement.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a social commentator, Sani Waspapping also known with name 'Sarki' on X, SaharaReporters has learnt.

Sources familiar with the development told SaharaReporters that the DSS carried out the arrest was on Friday evening.

As of the time of filing this report, the exact charges against him remain unclear.

Friends and associates have since been demanding his release, stressing that citizens have the right to freedom of speech.

They allege that he was arrested because of his views around United States/Israel and Iran war, although SaharaReporters could not independently verify if that is the basis for the DSS arrest which friends have tagged as 'abduction'.

Whoever is behind Sani Waspapping arrest should release him to reunite with his family safely. Every Nigerian has freedom of speech; why censoring a citizen or arresting them," a Facebook user, Yusuf Ahmed Snup, wrote.

Another source familiar with the development, identified as AbdulSalam Ahmad, also wrote on X: "It is no longer a secret that, Sani Waspapping has been abducted by the DSS. From what we have gathered so far, on Friday evening around NEPA Roundabout in Kaduna."
