That's exactly why some people stayed with traditional religions - they found it more beneficial to them! Others did not abd stayed Christians or Muslims. The richest man in the world is agnostic/atheist who brags he has never prayed in his life. Then there are other billionares who attribute their success entirely to their faith and prayers. Will you tell them to abandon it because it causes wars (according to you)?

We pretend to believe in God yet we take God out of the equation of things. We have to believe that what God originally intended is what finally made it's way down to us despite all the tortuous routes.

What keeps them converted is that it WORKED better than what they had before. And they've become convinced in their hearts of the authenticity and beneficiality of what they converted into (compared to what they had before)

The Awaken Soul, you're actually wrong. No one is afraid of or threatened by "truth" or investigations, but things ought have a purpose. What's the purpose of this "truth" (you can't really find absolute truth)? Faith and belief are very valuable assets with real life benefits. They are NOT strengthened by constant questioning and investigations and searchings for "truth"!

The old testament isn't written in the language of the characters it talks about. It was written thousands of years after their languages went extinct and there are no accounts in any other languages apart from those relatively new languages. Actually not very strange because in a thousand years time, all Yoruba history written may be in English alone

When being compiled, some books were removed because the compilers do not like the contents. The Catholic bible, the Ethiopian bible and probably some other Bibles have some books that do not exist in the European bible

The bible is full of contradictions. Just type contradictions in the bible inside google

Therefore read the Bible as it will give you insights into many things but never be so naive as to think it is the word of God because it was written by mere men and it is full of errors too

But have you ever considered that the end product we have today is how God always intended it to be - that these are the true words of God? It is like, say, you give someone a letter to deliver, but you know they'll rewrite it b4 they deliver it. So you write it in such a way that after their rewrite the final product will be exactly the letter you wanted them to deliver!

It means everything. If the idols were working why did they convert to Christianity?? Example, you can tell someone the Lord’s name is not really Jesus but Yeshua, that Jesus was a made-up name. But they KNOW every time they invoke the name Jesus, demons flee from them, peace, power, courage, arise. THAT is what's important!
You can tell someone Biblical words were changed and are not the original words, but they KNOW every time they invoke those particular words things shift, powers arise, they feel unbelievable peace and total fearlessness!

You have to first give US permission to do that - which feels like admitting failure and handing over your sovereignty.
US will solve it in one week by arming the citizens like they have in US - which will open it's own kettle of worms!

You are clearly mischievous....where did I tell you that Hades and hell are the same? You've told us here with your own evidence that they are not the same. So why are you contradicting yourself by telling us here again that Jesus reffered to "Hell" in Luke 16:23, 24 when he clearly reffered to "Hades" as evident in the screenshot below.

The screenshot below has revealed that you are an inconsistent and fraudulent teacher and your next response will deserve a block from me.

Genius you are, haven't you yet deduced that your quarrel is with the translators. If they used hades in Luke they made a mistake (by our modern day usage), it should be hell. By our ENGLISH usage of TODAY what is described there is hell NOT hades!

LANGUAGE IS BY USAGE!! A word means what vast majority of people take it to mean! In our Enflish Language usage of today Hell and Hades are not the same. See it below again then run along! Geez!

The funny thing is that he has a picture on this thread that shows that Jesus was reffering to Hell in Luke 16:23, 24 while his own NiV uses Hades🤣. I have been asking him to now explain why his picture is showing Hell and why his own NiV is showing Hades if Hades and Hell are not synonymous. He is just beating around the bush since morning.🤣

We are talking of meaning of words as we generally use them today and you're stuck on words used in a pictogram or used by a Bible translator!
And what's your point anyway? That there is no hell as the JW say or what?
