Flywire is like black market. What you do is to open flywire Put the name of the school you are paying and the amount in CAD They will show you the equivalent in naira. Then you go ahead and pay just like every other online payment. Your naira account will be debited. You should have something like this Whoa! This is expensive oh Normal rate should be about 800k plus 1 Like |

That may not be entirely correct seeing as it's the only option stated for international payments. Besides I used flywire to make a payment to Trent university. The payment was acknowledge after 2 days. Did you pay through form A and what duration? |

App Submitted: February 21st Biometrics: February 27th (got updated same day) Breakfast: March 7th (last night)
Generic Response;
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
I've been weak and tired since last night 🥺 Sorry about your refusal How much was your proof of funds compared to your tuition, did you show any relationship between you and your sponsor? Was any tuition payment made? |

ChiomaMC: Access Bank. So the only option of payment is Form A? I can't use my naira master card? why did they put it here nah. Honestly no time for this form A stuff that will take months.
Naira cards don't work for international transactions anymore 1 Like |

ChiomaMC: Please, on the CIBC link in my offer letter, I can see an option to pay with Wire, Master card or Visa card in Naira, can I pay with my Nigeria naira account? about 3.5M? or I must use the Form A. I need some clarity please.. Use the wire transfer and you can use CAD as the payment currency if you use CAD in your Form A application. Your form A is still valid as master/visa cards can no longer pay international transactions. Which bank did you use for your form A processing? |

toyin03: as at then, the website wasn't loading at all...but I've been able to create an account now.
I am paying via flywire and a Lil bit confused either to select payment in USD or CAD cos I'm not too sure CAD is recognized here in Nigeria. Well, if it was CIBC, CAD is recognised and your school would send you the invoice on the amount to be paid including the bank details. What currency did you see in the invoice for flywire? 1 Like |

I dunno how to behave anymore So, I prophetically wrote this down since 16th of November 2022 when I was still very worried about how long the Form A processing was taking and I just danced after. Thank you for the kind words Yes I made deposit as requested by the school but I'm hoping to pay part tution payment before reapplying From what I've read here so far it seems FD doesn't work with IRCC though one cannot predict them. If there's a way you can use a second account or have them transfer a part of it with explanation on how the money came, the better As you said, you can try to pay the first term fees, validate your sponsors document and try to show your account statement no matter how little the funds in the account is. 1 Like |

Justashygirl: Hi everyone It's my first post I've gone through most of the trends and I'm so glad to be here. I applied for Canada visa application and I was rejected this month and I'm hoping to reapply next month. Refusal reason was insufficient funds and lack of authentic document(I don't know which document). I submitted sponsors statement of account with about 7m and a fixed deposit of about 15 million naira but the fixed deposit is from a microfinance bank do you think this could be the refusal reason? (Maybe it couldn't be verified) Can I use microfinance as POF or I should just use another bank? My sponsor is my Dad. I'm currently working as an intern but I'm not being paid however I added my employment letter, just the letter (could this be another refusal reason) I didn't add my statement of account. However I added my Dad's company documents and landed properties too. I've requested for CBSA notes but still waiting, also my Dad's certificate of incorporation is invalid we noticed after the refusal is this another reason it could have been refused. We're hoping to validate it soon to avoid future story thank you. Any countribution is welcome please thank you. Sorry about your refusal Did you make any tuition deposit payment? 1 Like |

Your sponsor is supposed to pay part of your tuition and send living expenses into your account to show his commitment.
You were also supposed to submit your pictures taken with sponsor to prove relationship. My one cent Hello If the sponsor is a parent, do they still need to transfer a part of the living expense to the student or all funds can be in the sponsors account? |

chiboy2023: PLS HELP: STUDY QUESTION ABOUT MONTREAL
Please I applied for MENG program in Uni Concordia already. I didn't know it's Quebec where French is official language. Now I have a serious double mind. I applied to other schools as well. I intend on making this trip with family. And want PGWP and PR after studies.
WILL I BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE MY POST-STUDY GOALS IN QUEBEC WITHOUT FRENCH LANGUAGE SKILLS ?
Thanks Hello Quebec is a French Province but institutions there use English as means of communication. You should not be discouraged by the French language if you got your desired course and a fair tuition. You need to work full time for a year in any province before getting PR and yes, you can get PR in QUEBEC but you would require basic French speaking/writing skills |
