immortalcrown:The Nigerian public will go mental if they hear the FG sent 2 billion dollars to Ghana. Not an option. |
These Ghanaian leaders don't have sense sha. They've mismanaged their economy and have approached the IMF to bail them out. The bailout package will be the usual 1 or 2 billion dollar loan, which will come with various conditionalities, such as wage freezes for civil servants and public employees, currency devaluation, and trade liberalization, ie opening their economy to western imports, (and killing local industries). Instead of destroying their economy for a paltry 1 or 2 billion dollars, why didn't they just beg DANGOTE to loan them the money, and grant him favourable repayment deals and some extraordinary support for his businesses in Ghana? That way they could have gotten back on their feet, and run their economy without interference from the west. Even Otedola or someone else in Nigeria could have loaned them that money. Anyway, it's their cup of tea. Good luck to them in their dealings with the IMF. |
BlaqFaze:A 300 million dollar, 65,000 capacity stadium is what an ignorant school dropout and tout like you is calling ''mediocrity''? It's not your fault. After all, free internet now permits all types of riff raff with nothing upstairs to comment online. |
Princedapace:OH SHUT IT.... NIGERIA is a developing nation, like 80% of nations on Earth. If you can't grasp that simple fact, leave the country! Go and live in Morocco or Algeria, till they cut off your head for chatting up their daughters. Then you will know they're ''terrible'' too. Self hater. This is how you dumb idiots end up as slaves sucking Arab nuts in war-torn Libya and Lebanon, and appealing to Buhari to evacuate you, because of this stupid ''everywhere is better than Nigeria'' mentality you have. Why are you even complaining about using solar power? You don't know it's good to use renewable energy? Complainant-in-chief. |
BlaqFaze:Abuja has a world class stadium with a 65,000 seating capacity. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/k1f78xbKxF0/sddefault.jpg |
Princedapace:Self-hatred is a terrible disease you suffer from, in addition to your being a congenital LIAR. AMERICANS VISIT NIGERIA AND HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AND DON'T WANT TO RETURN HOME: (Real Americans, not the imaginary 'friend' existing in your self hating head) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE1-8zL-V7M&ab_channel=MeetTekeste%26JonesChannel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbULxYpCFdY&ab_channel=MeetTekeste%26JonesChannel |
Princedapace:Shut up your nasty lips. Who told your nasty self that it is the ''only stadium they can be proud of''? Are these stadia not in Nigeria? PH https://www.glimpse.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/CRhVyxiWwAArj0j.jpg UYO https://i.pinimg.com/originals/7c/63/95/7c63957609abb6b51b4c0d89e7e93c25.jpg ABUJA https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sBtRwUMivBE/maxresdefault.jpg This one will soon cast like Abuja stadium.Cure your self hate and inferiority complex. |
LeSudAfricaine:My brother, I told you that these people are mentally damaged. This donkey you're talking to, I can bet you he has never travelled to, or researched any other African country in his life. Yet he just 'knows' (ie is programmed to think) that any modern housing development you reside in must have been built by white people. I mean, it's tragic the way they think. |
Praxis758:You're very stupid. Who made your little boy self that would have been a village illiterate without black leaders coming to power - who gave you your lips to talk? JUST SHUT UP. Without the ''black race'' achieving independence when your father wasn't even born, you would be a half-naked, barefooted village nobody, and a slave to some white queen like your grandpa was, because the white colonialists never invested a dime in public education in their 100 year rule. It was BLACK PEOPLE coming to power in Nigeria that saved your parents and you from being illiterate village peasants, so shut up, because black people ''TOOK RESPONSIBILITY'' for you!!! Niger Delta has a voluminous deposit of crude oil. What effort has your leaders made to develop the very towns where the oil wells are located?Even if they turned it to 'Dubai' tomorrow, would that make you feel any less inferior? What about the thriving, built-up cities with major infrastructure you have in that region today, that were mere villages with naked children running about, during colonial misrule? Places like Calabar, Uyo, Awka, Abakiliki, Ikot Ekpene, Asaba, Warri etc? I'm old enough to recall when most of those places didn't have even one tarred road, with thatched huts a common sight. BUT GO THERE TODAY - flyovers, expressways, banks, shopping malls, universities, housing estates, factories, major hospitals, research institutes, international conference centres! But because you're conditioned to feel inferior, you ignore all your country's successes and define it solely by its challenges. That makes you sick! Will you also blame the caucasians for the underdevelopment of the oil rich Niger delta? Would you sue the caucasians for failing to mine the gold, marble coal, bitumen and iron ore deposits in Zamfara, Oyo, Enugu, Ondo and Kogi states respectively?Slave to ''caucasians'', the black leaders are sure doing a lot more to develop the nation with our resources than your white colonialists did. At independence in 1960 you had not a single university or power plant or expressway in Nigeria after 100 years of English rule! Black people coming to power in Nigeria is the best thing that ever happened to you. |
LeSudAfricaine:They are still suffering from the mental effects of colonial rule. British rule ended in 1960, but they left a lot of damaged minds in Nigeria via their education system which discredited everything indigenous. It is so bad that small scale manufacturers of shoes, handbags, clothes etc in Nigeria, place ''Made in Italy'', ''Made in India'', ''Made in China'' etc on their wares for easier sales, because Nigerians are conditioned to believe that everything made 'abroad' is superior in quality to its Nigerian-made counterpart. Nigeria is also the country that imports skin bleaching creams more than any other country on Earth. They are mentally damaged people. TOTALLY LOST. Programmed to self-hate and worship white or light-skinned humans. Guess what happens in some schools when you speak your native language rather than English? You get scolded or punished, maybe caned, for speaking 'vernacular'. They refer to their own indigenous languages as 'vernacular'. I think only divine intervention can save them at this point. |
Praxis758:Were the ''caucasian settlers'' not actually MASS MURDERERS and LOOTERS who robbed the people there of their land and resources and seized the land and resources for nearly two centuries after massacring millions of indigenous people? Why would the places they build or live in not be well-appointed compared to the locals? Oh, so now they are angels in your head? Stupid dunce!! |
Nigeria MKO Abiola stadium, Abuja https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d2/Football_heaven.jpg https://www.completesports.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Screenshot_20191017-162348_1571325884374.jpg LeSudAfricaine:Congo Stade Municipal de Kintélé, Brazzaville https://www.playmakerstats.com/img/estadios/167/729167_ori_stade_municipal_de_kintele.jpg Honestly. Black African nations actually have the better and prettier stadiums than the north Africans, as I have shown in just a few pics above. But these MORO.NS just saw ONE stadium in Morocco, and jumped to their usual conclusion of saying blacks are inferior to whites and arabs. I mean, it is so disgusting to behold. |
Cameroun Japoma stadium, Douala https://cdn.ca.emap.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2019/01/Yenigun_Japoma-Stadium_aerial_day-1024x683.jpg Senegal Olympic Stadium, Dakar https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FML11YCXwAA83HQ.jpg Zambia Levy Mwanawasa Stadium https://mapio.net/images-p/63855641.jpg IGNORANT MUMUS. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE STADIUMS IN BLACK AFRICAN COUNTRIES BECAUSE YOU NEVER RESEARCH OR VISIT BLACK COUNTRIES, BEING COLONISED MORO.NS FOR WHOM THE WORLD STARTS AND ENDS WITH 'DUBAI', 'LONDON', AND 'NEW YORK'. SO YOU SEE ONE NICE PIC FROM MOROCCO AND IT IS ''OH, BLACK PEOPLE ARE THIS, BLACK PEOPLE ARE THAT'', YOU PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING, AND WHOEVER DID THIS TO YOUR HEADS HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR. |
oluseyiforjesus:That is because you are an ignoramus who knows absolutely NOTHING about 'Africa', outside the garbage you see on CNN. Some stadiums in black Africa: Angola Estádio 11 de Novembro, Luanda. https://camundanews.com/hf-conteudo/uploads/posts/2021/10/9858_estai-dio-11-de-novembro-1-jpg.jpg Zambia Heroes National Stadium, Lusaka. https://answersafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/national-stadium-heroes2-1024x300.jpg Cameroun Paul Biya Stadium, Yaounde. https://www.adiac-congo.com/sites/default/files/stade-de-football-dolembe-illus.jpg |
tiger28:Ignorant dunce. The white colonialists ruled Nigeria for 100 years, and guess when we had our first power plant, Kainji Dam. In 1964, four years after the whites were kicked out. For 100 years they ruled you, exporting your resources, and sending 99% of the earnings to London, leaving you an undeveloped bush at independence with zero infrastructure and 95% illiteracy. Yet, like a cursed cretin, you think they were better than current black leaders who have invested untold billions into developing this country from what it was. COLONISED, BRAINWASHED DOLTS. THE ONLY REASON YOU CAN READ, WRITE, AND TYPE TODAY IS THAT THE COLONIALISTS WERE KICKED OUT in 1960, AND UNIVERSAL FREE EDUCATION WAS INTRODUCED BY BLACK NIGERIAN LEADERS. ELSE YOU WOULD BE AN ILLITERATE PALM WINE TAPPER TODAY, OR A BAREFOOTED HUNTER OF RABBITS and COCKROACHES, JUST LIKE YOUR GRANDPA WAS UNDER BRITISH RULE. MUMU PEOPLE DROWNED IN INFERIORITY COMPLEX AND SELF HATRED. |
Praxis758:OH SHUT UP.....ILLITERATE. The Chinese give out loans without ruinous 'conditionalities', unlike your western vampires in the IMF who specialise in destroying developing nations. |
Praxis758:Please leave Buhari out of your madness. You saw him running to IMF in your dreams abi? |
Kyase:lol |
I thought some people said this country was ''far better than Nigeria''? The last time Nigeria went cap-in-hand to the IMF was over 30 years ago during Babangida's era. |
IMF loan won't save Ghana's economy - Renowned US economist Prof. Steve Hanke, renowned international economist at the Johns Hopkins University, USA, has stated that Ghana's latest crawling to the IMF will not save its economy. The economist put Ghana's current inflation rate at an astonishing 49.35%, which is triple the 17.7% inflation rate of neighbouring Nigeria. In a recent tweet, he said, ''Ghana is in 16th place in this week's Hanke’s #CurrencyWatchlist. By my calculations, the #cedi has depreciated ~29% against the USD since Jan. 2020. The Ghanaian cedi is a central bank junk currency.'' https://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/IMF-loan-won-t-save-Ghana-s-economy-Renowned-US-economist-1574450 |
Burruchaga71:Ditch your inferioirity complex. |
This forum has being ruined by tribalism. Disgusting. It wasn't always like this around here.. |
Peter Obi Pricing Pepper and Palm Kernels in the Market https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/obi-tomatoes.jpg It's always good for leaders to know what the common man is paying for these items at any given moment in time. Knowing this man, I doubt the woman selling will be able to cheat him of even 50 naira in this transaction. He will insist on paying the real market price for the pepper and no more. |
We want to see innovative projects like this in other parts of Nigeria. Akwa Ibom is quite dynamic in this regard. Ebonyi and Ogun states are impressing as well. More states should follow suit. This thing is not about blaming Abuja or FG or Fulani people. States must be innovative and dynamic. They'll do this by electing technocrats into office. |
666Advocate:Dude.... |

mineo:Thank you very much. If Lagos can do all this without shouting 'secession', 'marginalization' etc, why can't Onitsha? Nonsense. |
Subsidywise20:A major problem is the western imposition of tariffs on value-added or processed raw materials from Africa, which can make manufacturing for export unprofitable. The solution is greater intra-African trade in manufactured goods, and this is on the rise, so the future is bright. |
Axis313:Exactly. The initial money they offer you is simply bait, like the one you set for fish. |
ANY THREAD FILLED WITH POSTS LIKE THIS IS USUALLY BY FAILED NIGERIANS. NIGERIA IS MOVING FORWARD. PEOPLE ARE MAKING THINGS HAPPEN. SIT DOWN THERE. IT IS YOU WHO IS FAILING AND FAILED. AS YOU POINT YOUR FINGER AT ''NIGERIA'', 4 FINGERS POINT BACK AT YOUR DUMBASS LAZY FOREHEAD. |
Assetinvestor:I honestly don't think Peter Obi is the only candidate capable of moving Nigeria forward. Revamping this economy is not rocket science. Tinubu, and to some extent Atiku can bring some progress too, with the right policies. |
