This is a silly comeback... borne out of obduracy than anything else. A nation with the wealth like Nigeria should not be starting an entire flag carrier with 3 aircraft, all of which are going to be leased. Hadi Sirika has been telling us, in his capacity as aviation minister, that the government is set to launch Nigeria Air since 2017. 5 years after, all we are expecting is 3 lease aircraft?

It takes years of planning blablabla, but Green Airlines launched their airlines and are making domestic flights, Airpeace is making both domestic and international flights. It takes years of planning but with the billions of naira available to them, the best the government can do is to look towards leasing airlines. If Air Peace, green air etc can do it, why can't the government of a country even with the billions of naira at their disposal?
