Keep shifting goal post, Muslim schools funded by state government don't allow non Muslims
You can't engage in a civil argument. That's the hallmark of people like you.
Can you cite the names of the muslim schools?
Even public schools in Zamfara where muslims are 99.99% don't prevent Christians from joining

Schools have uniforms and dress codes. How about also allowing herbalist children to tie skeleton on their necks and sprinkle some blood on their head to school too? And other female students allowed to do whatever they like to represents their believes such as wearing extremely short skirts to classes showing their buttocks and under wears ? This is exactly what you are asking for when you want to go against school dress code with your hijab. You muslims need start asking yourselves questions, what you are giving back to society to make it a better place.
Do the herbalists' children wear the skeletons/amulets /etc as a casual attire in their homes. If yes, they have the right to push for allowance don their attire
This was the same argument some people brought i think in Osun some years ago. They even dressed their children with different attires to the schools. But because it's not normal to them, they couldn't sustain it even for a week.

Idiots that have never established school in their lives

but how would you allow hijab to be worn in schools that aren't Muslims schools

Yet you won't allow those who don't want to wear hijab in Muslim schools owned by government?
If a school is christian missionary school and their dress code doesn't permit hijab, it's not an issue. Anybody who decides to send their children there should be ready to accept the dress code.
However, for a public school nobody has the right to stop someone from what is the requirement of their religion

All these things no suppose Dey cause trouble. Hijab or no hijab let kids be kids. They can always wear their hijabs after school. The prophet SAW advises us to follow rules of our leaders. Wearing or not wearing hijabs in schools will and cannot make the students any less Muslims. What we need is to fight for quality educational system. Not all these religious talks all the time.
The rules of God are superior to rules of man. Hijab is the attire of female muslims. If a particular parent feels their daughter won't wear it, then it's their cup of tea. But if I want my daughter to wear it, she must be allowed to wear it because it doesn't contravenes the constitution
PoliticsRe: ₦4.2 Trillion Debt Service: Economy Is In Real Crisis, FG Admits by Quitam: 7:10am On Feb 02, 2022
backbencher:
As long as we remain dependent on one source of income, we will always be in debt.

It follows that oil prices have never been as high as we want them for ages, and as a result we have to take loans to survive, which is why we are in debt.

Keep in mind that being an oil dependent nation does not mean we are rich, unless our population is low enough.

Nigeria must diversify away from oil if we must survive and reduce our debt.

Modified

Nigeria’s tax to GDP ratio is one of the lowest in the world. It is at about 8 per cent while our comparators are in the neighborhood of about 15 per cent to 25 per cent. Even in Africa we can surely do better. This is symptomatic of undue reliance on oil revenue as a result of fiscal imbalances in our nation’s financial landscape.
It is true. However, you should note that there are taxes worth billions of naira that do not reach state coffers because of corruption. Again, the citizens don't trust their leaders will use the taxes judiciously

Promiscuity is the problem. It is better for a girl to marry at 17 years to a responsible husband, than for her to be impregnated by someone might run away.
The modern world is full of temptations. If one, whether male or female, doesn't control their urges by marrying, they will fall into fornication and promiscuity.

It's only a slowpoke that can't engage in a civil exchange. Oya keep killing security personnel, Nnamdi Kanu will be Nigerian president come 2023. ESN commanders will be sent to govern the 36 states.

winterfell007:
As I can Igbo guy, I'm forced to agree with you on this. I usually tell my fellow Igbo brethrens that we play terrible politics and that is what has caused us to be in political doldrums. Nnamdi Kanu came from no where and worsened Igbo's political situation. We are just reemerging from the Civil-War era and trying to rebuild our political base as Zik of Africa once did only for NK to destroy the foundation we painstakingly built over the years.
Peter Obi's intention to run for the presidential race is welcoming to all and sundry who are right-thinking members of the society, devoid of tribal, ethnic and parochial politics. But it's sad that Nigeria's politics is ethnic driven. But if things were to play out political right, there's no reason why Peter Obi can emerge winner. Other viable candidates I consider would be Proffesor Osibanjo, but we have got some political healing to do first.
You're on point. The earlier the Igbo nation realises, the better. I don't think the IPOB guys are well exposed. How will someone who has travelled to Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna.... And see the trillions of Naira worth investment of his brethren turn around to preach to them to hate their hosts? Honestly, a serious political healing is needed
PoliticsRe: 2023: Peter Obi Set To Join Presidential Race, Releases Portfolio by Quitam: 10:57am On Jan 28, 2022
He has a good profile. However, where he comes from will be his major problem.
This is not a racist comment but the reality. In recent years, many Igbos are passively supporting the violent activities of the ESN which has pitted them against the FG and other regions of the country. Scores of security personnel were murdered but only few Igbo statesmen had the chutzpah to condemn such acts(Peter Obi included)
From a political perspective, you can't win an election with votes from zone, ditto your region. You gotta form alliances with other regions to clinch the ticket. Buhari tried that 3 times, he didn't succeed until he struck an alliance with SW
My words to the SEners, stop the hate mongering against other regions ( because you benefit from them economically, and contribute to them too). If not, the presidential ping pong will always exclude you. The SS, who is the nation's cash cow, don't harbor much hatred against other zones like you guys do despite the fact that the Igbos are 100 times more dispersed in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.

If our governors are doing the right thing, the citizens will have less issues to complain about. Some governors have successfully configured their people to blame Buhari for everything while they do little or nothing from what the FG allocates to them.
I've followed the activities of Kaduna government since 2015 because I saw how the blueprint of Elrufai was. I am happy that he's trying to implement what he promised. Kudos to him

ADAMUdaCOWBOY:
Same thing happened in kafanchan yesterday where he went to commission a road that led to the palace of the emir of the Hausas in kafanchan, such a shame. Buhari could not travel by road to kafanchan because the road was terrible. He went to kafanchan by helicopter, but where will he land? grin The township in kafanchan is crowded with no space for a helicopter to land so the only option left was the Kaduna State University in kafanchan which also had a terrible road connecting it to the township. Guys, did you know that they tarred that road in two days, working day and night? Even the road in kafanchan which is in southern Kaduna was mostly done in the Muslim dominated part of the town. The part that went through the Christian part is still there under construction for about 2 years, yet to be completed. People go through so much trouble plying that road. I pity anyone that fails to see beyond the smoke screen. Never make the mistake of voting Elrufai even as vice president. Even Buhari is learning bigotry from him!
It is unfortunate how you drag religion into everything. You guys said Elrufai has neglected southern Kaduna, and now that he's done some projects in Kafanchan you're saying it's in muslim dominated areas. What exactly do you want? Are the roads going to be used by muslims? Or any christian using it is going to be taxed?

PoliticsNnewi: Refuse Takes Over Major Roads by Quitam(op): 6:25am On Jan 14, 2022
Refuse has taken over Nnewi in Anambra State, as residents lament the health risks it poses.

Though indiscriminate waste disposal is not new in Nnewi but with the recent Christmas and New Year celebration; the quantity of wastes generated increased significantly, so also the stench.

Despite the flashy cars and magnificent buildings that adorned the town, the heap of refuse lowers the attractiveness of the city.

The heap of refuse has covered most of the roads in the city, thereby, forcing motorists and pedestrians to struggle to move on the road.

The situation along the Nnobi – Nnewi Road by Nnewi High School, Regina Cali School is an eyesore as refuse have taken over the road. Refuse is also taking over the surrounding walls of the Nnewi High School, extending to the road and emitting unpleasant smell.

Also, refuse dumped behind Authority FM Station, Umuanuka Otolo, Nnewi and the Izuchukwu Bus-Stop at Nnewi are constituting a big challenge to the people and motorists. People are seen covering their noses as they approach the Izuchukwu bus stop to board vehicles.

The situation is not different at Court Road, Okpunoegbu Umudim Nnewi, as the refuse has extended into the road causing gridlock.

As a result, vehicular movement has been restricted to one lane in almost all the roads, as the other side of the roads have been taken over by refuse; thereby, extending a journey of 30minutes to over two hours.

Speaking to South-East Trust, a commercial driver, Mr. Michael Obiora lamented that refuse has taken over the city, accusing the relevant authority of refusing to clear them off the roads.

He said, “The cost of transportation has increased drastically because of traffic caused by refuse dumped on the roads.”

Also speaking to South-East Trust, Mrs. Ifeoma Uche said the state of refuse in Nnewi today is alarming, saying, the situation suggests that there are no local government authorities in place.

She lamented that people are finding it difficult to gain access to their destinations because of the indiscriminate dumping of waste. “In spite of the difficulty, the big men with police escort and convoy make life difficult for people by using their escorts to intimidate and terrorise people on the roads that are already covered by waste,” she alleged.

When contacted, the Managing Director of Anambra State Waste Management Authority (ASWAMA), Mr. Amechi Akorah said he cannot react to the issue but directed our correspondent to the Ministry of Environment. However, efforts to reach the ministry failed.

Niger Delta oil money while Ogoni oil spillage is yet to be cleaned with its attendant environmental degradation not forgetting the recent spillage in Bayelsa which unfortunately the government is blaming it on vandalism and oil theft.

While the people of the Niger Delta groan on neglect and deprivation a northern state that contributes nothing to the coffers of the nation is executing gigantic projects no wonder the agitation for resources control and VAT collection.

Enough of using phony population figures to steal resources of its owners using they flawed sharing formula.
