I hope that everybody is doing okay. I'm doing very well myself.

I got through with the radiotherapy two Thursdays ago, but didn't manage to send the photos since because the radiotherapy left me feeling extremely weak. Anyway, here they are( attached), as promised.

Unfortunately for me, the oncologist told me squarely that I would never be able to see with my left eye anymore. Fortunately for me, that gives me another great opportunity to exercise my faith in The God Who created the eye in the first place. I just know that I shall begin to see with that eye again someday... it might just take some time, that's all.

Soon, I'll begin my periodic consultations with the oncologist. I'll keep you all informed.

2012 OFFICIAL NAIRALAND/GENERAL SECTION POSTER OF THE YEAR

How time flies! It's difficult to believe it's one year now that we held the 2011 edition and 3 years now that we started this.

Here we go again, we say thank you to everyone that has contributed to making this section tick in the outgoing year - from the active contributors to the passive readers even to the unregistered guest viewers.

As it has become traditional on Nairaland, we are organizing this year's edition of OFFICIAL POSTER OF THE YEAR AWARD.

For those who are new here, this event started officially in 2009 (Won by SAGAMITE). Due to some unforeseen situation, the event was cancelled in 2010

2011 edition was won by Ngodus : https://www.nairaland.com/815711/ngodus-voted-nairaland-gen-section

Now it's 2012 edition? Who will take the prize? You decide!

Rules:
1, Only 1 nomination per user
2, Any nominee that has been banned or warned twice this year will be disqualified
3, Moderator cannot be nominated in his/her section but may be nominated in other sections
4, Nominee must be active in the section
5, Nominee must be forum rule-abiding and not a trouble-maker(passionate defence of one's opinions is no trouble-making though)
6, Top 3 nominees will be up for poll for another 2 weeks, where the winner will be announced at the expiration of the voting
7, Where there is tie, the mod reserves the right to either choose one or extend the nomination/voting by 24 hours

VOTING starts December 16, 2012 and ends December 30 where the winner will be announced.
