The Federal Government, Friday, suspended all cargo flights from other countries from operating into the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. Disclosing this development to newsmen, General Manager Corporate Communications, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Yakubu Dati said that the suspension of cargo aircraft into the country was necessary because of the congestion at the warehouses. Mr. Dati further pointed out that the Nigerian Airspace Manager Agency had been notified to issue a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) informing them about the development. He said, “This has become imperative due to the congestion created by the backlog of cargo created following the two-week closure of the terminal by the Nigerian Customs Service” The FAAN GM further noted that the agency was initiating possible measure to accelerate the clearance of the goods and return the situation to normalcy. He however advised airlines and importers to make use of alternative airport as such move would ease the congestion of goods at the Lagos airport. According to him, the authority was constrained to take such measure for the time being for the safety and security of all concerned. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/12/fg-suspends-cargo-flights-mmia/ |

Dangote's daughter cheated on me and you say I should break up? Don't you know that Love is all about forgiveness. How can a pastor be preaching about charity and put a password on Church WIFI? A boy I beat up back then in primary school is now in the US Army. He poses with guns on Facebook, and looks like he hasn't forgotten. When you are kissing your girlfriend and you see the person owing you money, what will you do? When you see a Nigerian couple outside staring at the moon, It's either NEPA (Nigeria's Electricity company) took the light or they are waiting for the smell of the insecticide to subside. I just saw a Tricycle (Keke Napep) with an inscription "Trust No woman" I have a feeling that guy once had a range rover. If you want to change the world, do it now that you are still single, because when you get married, you can't even change the T.V station. Enjoy your evening y'all ![]() |

Update 20th December First and foremost we would like to thank each and everyone for the concern shown in the past few days. We understand and appreciate the interest shown in the getting of DJ back to his feet and appreciate this as we all have equal stake in it. We have listened and will continue to listen as success to us is seeing him pain free. Having said the above, DJ has had to check himself back into the hospital this morning as he felt a bit of discomfort over the night. Our field worker was able to meet with him at the hospital and spoke to the doctor. The results from the cytology and the CT scan has been examined and they have referred him to an oncologist. They said we have two choices in this case, we either use the teaching hospital (in which case he will have to wait until they end their strike) or we use Lakeshore Cancer Center(LCC) in VI. Upon this we took the results to LCC to make enquiries These are the results of our enquiries at LCCs • Their oncologist is not around and wont be around until Monday so we have booked an appointment for noon on Monday which we will have to bring Hamed along • we have dropped the test results and our details and they said they will call us later to confirm our appointment. • They are majorly an out patient facility and so they do not admit except in cases where the patient needs chemo • They charge 10k for registration and 60k for consultation and palliatives. PS: The figures below is an high level breakdown of expenditure and balance at hand. Naira Account: Total Donation =2,711,628 Total Spent =960,000 Balance =1,751,628 Paypal Account:£1110 + $929 Balance= We have been requesting for steer and direction on this case but only the following have been gotten so far 1. Ask the doctors for the probability of a cancer diagnosis . This is done now. 2. Open a new thread to get a doctor who can support the team. This will be done soon The following are the key issues again 1. Since the consensus on the forum is that the first hospital is not satisfactory, we need a place where he can be stabilized pending when he can be flown abroad for treatment 2. Should we start treatment at the LCC 3. Funds are needed for this venture either at LCC or abroad Your steer is needed. TeHN |

bigtt76:Amen o my sister...... Our. UK shipments still out there in Ghana somewhere |
Omolaraeni12:You welcome |
Neocotez:Clearing process |
Omolaraeni12:Cleared and available now |
Omolaraeni12:Dear Valued Customer, We would like to apologize for the delay in clearing Manifest 1466, this is due to the new rules and regulations been applied by Nigeria customs. Before the new rule came into effect, clearing agents were usually allow to go into the cargo shed to identify their shipment but now they have to wait for the customs and Nacho shed staff to identify for them before they can start clearing. Due to the back-log they had this is taking some time. As soon as this shipment has been identify and release to our agent, we will try our best to get it out as soon as possible. Once again we are truly sorry for the delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Best regards, The Team at Midas Express Shipping & Freight, |
