Benz4pimp: If you want the doctors details,he can drop it here and you will get to the doctor or is that also what the OP can not see? Not a good idea. I am sure you don't want the whole nairaland calling the same doctor with the same question! |

naijaking1: My dear, please don't worry about money at this time. If God will see you through this condition, He will surely provide ---for sacrifice(like the song) I needed your consent to send a donation through a Paypal address floating around this thread. These are small, but important things you should be doing for yourself:
1. Good rest, and eat well 2. Avoid constipation, avoid small cuts anywhere in your body, even shaving, because you will bleed a lot. 3. Tell us the results of those lab tests we saw on you hospital folder, they are called CEA and Ca19-9, because it will help us focus on pancreatic vs liver, vs biliary, vs colon cancer; especially if you want to know whether liver transplant would be an option for you. 4. Avoid acetaminophen, Tylenol or paracetamol as they call it in Nigeria, because it is broken down in you liver, and if your liver is already weak, it will simply cause you more liver damage. 5. Chose somebody in your family you trust to make good decisions for you just in case you become unable to communicate, or develop a condition called hepatic encephalopathy. In this condition, patient are confused, disoriented, and agitated initially, and then begin to breath fast, and may even die, because of ammonia accumulation in the brain. 6. We hope it will not happen, but you should buy a bottle of medicine called lactulose, and keep it by your side now. Send someone to buy it from a reputable pharmacy. If you become weaker than normal, have a constipation, or unusually confused, take 20ml liquid by mouth every 12 hrs. You would pass a large watery stool when it begins to work, and it will instantly reduce your blood ammonia level and literary wake yo up from "sleep" . |

thinkdip: I think the Op and all members of TeHN should engage osewa seun in an open debate and he should be ready to respond to this issue, he isn't a kid and he should know that when positive thing sprouts up like these closing a thread isn't always the best option for claiming better knowledge, the TeHN org is gaining pace and he should gladly be happy and stop ending on his button to close a thread meant to make impact and a difference. @op open a thread on behalf of TeHN and engage him in an open debate, this is a National body I see coming out from NL, let him declare his animosity towards the progress then we'll move from there.. I did but he refused..... The thread he locked would have been the perfect channel to iron everything out in the open but as you can see, he made a comment to make himself gold and quickly lock the thread before anybody else gets there. |

bibiking7: Ok. But does he really need to travel by road to ABK, i think LUTH can handle this case. I know Reddingon can, but that depends on the available funds. Since Reddington is good, can't they just go there and we try and solicit for the rest of the money!! |
Health › Re: I Need Help by r231(m): 8:47pm On Nov 09, 2014 |
babyosisi: And what is wrong with that? Have I ever claimed to be a know all? Who knew someone here could donate 150k in a flash,do you know the people that could be reading this? He needs immediate attention and that attention is not available in Nigeria Let's be real
Anything short of taking him abroad will be a waste of money You folks are screaming take him to LUTH. Take him to LUTH He has been to LUTH and their diagnosis is in black and white before us They cannot help him further after that diagnosis I walked the Hallways of UNTH as a med school on med/surg rotations and we saw patients like this and all that is done is repeated blood work to check on their decline until they die
I am sorry for those who see my words as cold I am speaking nothing but the truth The faces of those patients are still before me
Let someone help make him a passport, let us channel energy towards taking him out for treatment,he need not spend the money he has gathered so far on anyone in Abeokuta or anywhere else, not even LUTH And you are so sure of these how? Even if you know the president, they are not going to carry the passport machine to your house cus he still need to finger print for the passport and I don't think this man has energy for that now....... Join force and network to find the right hospital simple Stop talking as if things to happen to patients in UK, USA and India Find the hospital and leave the rest to God!! |

babyosisi: Passports can be processed in 24 hrs and the Indian embassy gives medical visa same day There must be someone here working in a passport office that can help Passport can be processed in 24hrs but you have to look for someone working at the passport office on NL So you don't even have a contact for that in the first place but somehow you know it takes 24hrs The man needs immediate attention and hospital not running around embassy trying to get 24hrs passport and visa with other 20 billion other candidates waiting on the que!! |
