After her sad experience with her ex-footballer lover, pretty actress, Stephanie Okereke can smile again. She got engaged last weekend to her man, Linus Idahosa of Delyork International who she’s been dating since last year. The handsome hunk rocking her world, HVP learnt proposed to her in the presence of some of their pals and colleagues. Idahosa, the head honcho of Delyork International, pulled a fast one on the actress at the posh Club 10, on the Island, owned by Jay Jay Okocha, where he dazzled her beau with a surprise birthday bash. While Okereke, who reportedly flew in from Abuja that evening was still smarting from the shock of the classy bash that completely took her unaware, Mr. Idahosa struck again. Mid way into the romantic ritual,Mr. Romeo walked up to his Juliet, knelt on his two knees and brought out a diamond encrusted ring from his pocket, put it on Okereke’s finger, with the words, “please, marry me and be the mother of my children. I love you.” Dumbfounded and with tears of joy streaming down her cheek, the actress accepted to be the future Mrs. Idahosa. With that ritual, that looked like a movie script, the party that had victuals flowing in all directions of the expansive VIP section continued till the wee hours of the following morning. Steph was once married to former Super Eagles player, Chikelue Iloenyosi. But owing to some irreconcilable difference, the marriage hit the rock. But nevertheless Steph moved on with her life after that sad experience. Today she can tell better. Congrats… |

hmmmm let me see 1. Men want a fun and exciting (female) companion. 2. Men want great sex (consistent, frequent, and passionate lovemaking score high with men). 3. Men want to share meals with their woman companion (especially when she cooks for him). 4. Men want you to support them in their work and boost their confidence. 5. Men want you to look great, keep in shape, and express confidence about your body. 6. Men want you to listen to them and treat them with respect. 7. Men need private time, to unwind, to engage in sports and hobbies, and to spend time with other men |

The Director General of IBB 2011 Presidential Campaign Organisation Chief Raymond Dokpesi has sued the State Security Service (SSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice to court over his "arrest, detention and undue questioning over the Independence Day bomb blasts in Abuja." In a Motion on Notice filed at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court by his counsel, Kanu Agabi, Dokpesi is seeking for the enforcement of his fundamental human rights and N100 million damages for "the unlawful and unwarranted infringements" of his rights by the respondents. The Chairman of Daar Communication Plc is also seeking a declaration that he is not in any way associated with the persons or organizations responsible for the bomb blasts and has not committed any offence to warrant his "continued arrest or detention or questioning or harassment or intimidation" by the first respondent (SSS). In a 53 point affidavit, Dopkesi said he was in his house in Abuja on October 1 when the bomb went off and was in Dutse, Jigawa State on October 3 when the SSS directed him to report at their headquarters. He said his phones were seized by officials of the SSS and was detained for several hours before he was granted bail on the condition that he will be reporting almost every day to the security agency while the investigation lasts. Dokpesi said he was asked if he had met with some members of the Niger Delta Renaissance Network "and I admitted that I had met with five of their representatives in my capacity as Chairman of DAAR Communications when they sought financial assistance from me after they attended a television programme hosted by my network. I gave them the sum of N500, 000". When asked if he had recently travelled to South Africa, he said he told them he had last been there in March 2009 in connection with the Under 17 Football Tournament held in Nigeria in 2009. "I was asked about Henry Okah whom I do not know and whom I have never met and with whom I have no connections whatsoever," he said. He said when he reported again the following day to the office of the SSS the interrogation continued after a long delay. "At about 11.30 pm I was confronted by a gentleman who happened to be one of those I had seen in connection with the Renaissance Network Group. He was said to be the owner of the phone which contained the message that had been shown to me earlier. "I admitted that I had met with this gentleman in connection with the IBB campaigns for the 2011 presidential election. I had never known him to be a terrorist and did not engage his services for such a purpose and never paid any monies to him for such a purpose." Dopkesi said the SSS had portrayed him as a terrorist or a patron of terrorists and this has caused him, his 10 children and wife great embarrassment being a well known "decent, responsible, patriotic and respectable man." No date has been fixed for hearing of the case whose Affidavit of Urgency was attached to the Motion on Notice. Meanwhile, Bayelsa State IBB 2011 Campaign Coordinator Alaowei Okpukeme yesterday said that he did not exchange any text messages with the Director General of IBB 2011 Campaign Organisation Chief Raymond Dopkesi over the N4m he collected from him. Okpukeme, who was a former chairman of Gbarain Ekebetiama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, said the money was meant to acquire the state secretariat of the campaign organization which is now located at 30 Imgbi Road, Yenagoa. He however added that he was neither arrested nor interrogated by the State Security Services (SSS). |
