I'm sad to report that on Thursday the 30th of September JJC was in a serious car crash on his way to a Nigerian Independence show in Cardiff.

JJC was scheduled to headline the "NIGERIA @ 50" @ Zync Bar, Cardiff. JJC along with his P.A, dancers and new artist Lil Miss where all on the motorway driving to Cardiff, when another vehicle collided into them.

JJC was not driving but was the only one severely hurt, his entourage escaped with minor injuries. JJC was rushed via Ambulance to a hospital in Swindon and consequently missed the show. JJC has since been flown back to London via Air Ambulance to a hospital in London where he was further treated. JJC has been discharged from hospital and is now recovering at home.

I've had the chance to speak to JJC's management and they have confirmed that JJC is recovering well, will unfortunately miss all scheduled Nigerian Independence shows, but should hopefully be well enough to appear at the African Music Awards in the Wembely Arena on the 15th of October and the MOBO Awards.

JJC has been nominated for Best African Act at the MOBOS
