We have been able to visit her couple of times. Our thanks goes to the case verification officers who make sacrifices of their time to ensure all proceeds as well as it is going on.

On the operation, one of the major showstoppers has been the medical strike which has persisted so far with attendant impact on Folake and countless thousands across the nation. We pray the industrial action is called off sooner than later.

This has led to major case schedule delay as the consultant was available but would need a retinue of support doctors and other personnel who were not available.

It was also decided not to transfer the operation to another hospital as there is a major risk that a new specialist may not be familiar with the case, moreover it would lead to a new battery of tests and thus cost

We are confident the operation can commence this month or the next as we have been assured she will be considered on priority once the scheduling for the surgical operation is about to commence

Folake has set up her business and has been able to stock her store with various provisions and foodstuffs. She is showing commendable entrepreneurial nous and this shows that once an individual is given an opportunity, they will make the best of it.

There were some teething challenges on power supply but this has been sorted out as she has a prepaid meter so she can obtain power and use the generator sparingly to minimize overheads.

There are challenges so far of possible medication post-surgery, further capital for her small-scale enterprise but we are confident with your support, this will be possible.

Hi,

Yes we charge £15 for handling and transit time is 5-7days. Shipment leaves the office on Fridays to the airline and leaves uk on Tuesday.
