Update as of today:
Ms Folake has completed all the necessary pre-surgery tests
Ms Folake and the team have contacted the consultant at UCH regarding having the tests analysed as well as providing her with a definitive surgery date.
Ms Folake’s prospective surgery date has now been pushed back to the 1st of November due to the on-going staff strike at UCH
The team is currently deliberating on how best to bring forward Ms Folake’s rehabilitation plan so as to bridge the time gap created by the unforeseen circumstances.

Update as of 24th September 2013

It’s been a while since we updated you on the current status of TEHN’s drive to fully rehabilitate Mrs Folake. We apologize for not providing a constant update on proceedings but we want to assure you that a lot has been happening behind the scenes and as with any project, it’s always better to update as of when agreed milestones are achieved.

Progress to date:

Consent Form:

· Mrs Folake has now signed TEHN’s consent form detailing our responsibilities and expectations.




SURGERY:
· All pre-surgery tests are now complete.

· The surgery date is now tentatively scheduled for the 1st of November 2013 (This is still subject to availability of UCH surgeons). We hope to get a final confirmation by the first week in october

POST SURGERY PLAN

Considering the extenuating circumstances surrounding the availability of surgeons to carry out the much needed surgery sooner, we had to bring forward our post-surgery plan which has now been completed as well as detailed below.



TEHN asked Mrs folake’s to present the group with a business idea. Her preference was to have her own grocery shop as well as to be able to provide specific services. With that at the back of our mind, we have managed to actualize the following:

· Procurement of a brand new self-contained container to serve as her shop

· 1 year rent payment for the piece of land that the container sits on

· Procurement of a new chest deep freezer

· Procurement of a new sewing machine

· Procurement of a new grinding machine including all the necessary parts

· Procurement of a new voltage regulator

· Procurement of a new generator

· N50K to kick start the business

We have attached receipts, pictures of all procured items and expense report to date for continued transparency.
