frozen70: Pls do you mean poultry and turkeys can eat these leave including pawpaw leave
Can you give me list of leaves for the poultry
Some of the leaves are extract and the liquid is mix and given to birds... But birds can actually eat like the turkeys, they love the water leaf, plantain and banana leaf etc
StreetSoldier: Wonderful information. I allowed my rabbits to roam free within the compound and I discovered the many plants that they love to eat. Thankfully, my compound is not all cemented. Made allowance for some greens.
Kobojunkie: That is a lot of leaves you are cutting from bushes around. Or am I wrong?
Lol. We don't give the leaves alone in fact 80% of our feed are pellet concentrated feed will give to them, this leaves are just to keep their system balance
All the leaves above are good for sale livestock Generally, Many farmers don't know much about the importance of this leaves and only give just one of it alone to their livestock
Wow. Nice. I interviewed a pepper and tomato farmers some weeks back. You can watch the video, hopefully I will do a coverage on your farm so you can ahare my knowledge to my audience. I just subscribe to ur channel now. Do same to mine. Thanks
Picture 1: Sun flower leaf Picture 2: The red leaf/plant I talked about, I don't know the name. Any suggestion? Picture 3: Corn leaf Picture 4: Centrosema
murtalaa: i am right now e-seizing you by the collar and vigorously shaking you. Go to Canada. I said go to Canada. Did you hear me? Go to Canada. Just what part of go to Canada are you not understanding? Poultry industry in Nigeria right now is a shambles. Huge, huge starting cost and very low return due to cost of feed and relatively low cost of eggs and low demand. Don't even let me start on broiler production; that one is death trap. All in all, Sunk nearly 10m and no break-even point in sight let alone making profit. I am even one of the luckiest as no outbreak has been recorded so far in my farm. GO TO CANADA!
Are you in the farm managing it or you have people doing the management for you? If it's the 2nd options.. Then your farm need a good management
airprince: Evening everyone, I’m a young guy of about 22 and i graduated in 2021 from Delsu, after which I traveled to Cape Town last year and got a 3 years residency permit but I’m currently in Nigeria because the rent was too high and I wasn’t doing anything other than staying at home daily and money wasn’t coming in anymore like it used to so I went back to Nigeria.
Now I’m trying to figure out if it’s best I travel to Canada to further my studies basically work and study or stay back home here in Nigeria and start an extensive agricultural project; livestock’s & poultry(I’ve lands for that already)
Guys pls help me out I’m just so confused I just sit at home everyday doing nothing while I’m waiting for this Nysc letter it’s so boring.
If you are comfortable in terms of finance, I will advice you to start a good integrated Agric farm not just only poultry. You will really make it big with time and passion.
I am an Agric student and also practicing small small.
Babathanks: You can never force people to go to farm. Even here in the north, people don’t want to farm anymore. Buhari try this for 8years and he fail, he thought if youth starve they will go back to farm but they didn’t. Nobody have monopoly of anybody destiny. The best thing is for the government to cut customs duty or remove any levy on all this imported goods, open our border for goods and food. Customs duty are too much for all this product
Ok. Thanks for your input.
But I still believe agriculture is a bedrock of all nations
Revolution2022: Farming is expensive too.One needs a land. You go provide one?Abi na person land you won encroach upon? What about weed control? That one has gone up.A litre of herbicide is #4000.What about the crops.Do you know how many months it will take for a cassava to grow for harvest? You never farm recently that is why.
We you are right, concerning the land you can source for a cheap land or worst case plant using sack and rubber in the little space around you.. The main aim is to produce what you can eat to reduce cost especial vegetables
