Please Fash respond

Guys please use the link that I posted earlier and read up about the application process. Then come back and ask any specific questions about the application process you need clarity on. Please note that I do not have time to spoon feed anybody. Read-up first and ask questions. The first step after securing an employer in Canada is to register for your IELTS exam and pass it. In parallel you need to complete your credentials assessment by WES (World Education Services). Note that WES will require your transcripts to be sent directly to them by your institution. This is one of the bottle necks of this application process.
Also go and complete your childcare/healthcare diploma course. I know of two places offering this training in Lagos. I have used one of these two places for my two sisters so I can only vouch for one - Workforce Training Solution. The second school is called The Nanny Academy https://www.thenannyacademy.com
Please contact any of these two schools that work for you for the nanny course/training.
I hope this helps.
I have another question. I have all the necessary credentials except the certification in Child care and first aid. My certification in Child care is going to be concluded in January 2021. Does this mean after that is when I can submit all my applications as required or I submit the ones i have and then tender a certification when asked for it
TravelRe: Home Child Care Provider Pilot Canada Program For Nigerians by Rach622(f): 2:33pm On Aug 17, 2020
Please I have a question. Do i still need a certification in Child care since I have almost 2 years work experience as an early childhood educator? Can the work experience and first aid certification be enough?
Thank you

Good day all, please I have a question

Does being pregnant affect getting a study visa?
Thanks for your response
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Rach622(f): 6:40am On Aug 14, 2020
Luckymama:
It depends o. I followed the SOWP timeline thread and it can take as short as a few weeks to as long as years. Everything on this immigration journey depends on the whims and caprices of the Ogas at the Embassy.

Basically once you have a Study Permit your spouse is entitled to a work permit. Some people even apply at the same time i.e study permit and visiting visa for student, work permit for spouse. I think that’s a bit risky sha because for most married folks their spouse can serve as a good home tie for them.

Other people apply once they get the student visa and before they travel. Others wait till they get to Canada and apply.

I even know a couple that got the Study permit right at the border. The husband already had a visiting visa and so accompanied his wife. As she was being processed at the border to enter Canada he asked about a work permit for himself and they gave him the forms he filled them and there and then they gave it to him.

So it’s just a matter of each case and how the officer handling it feels.
I'll follow the thread. Thank you

Osemigho:
Your spouse can join as soon the application is approved. Approval time varies. I have seen less than a year and more than a year. You should also know that spousal open work permit can be rejected too. So ensure you have good home ties.

If approved, your suppose will be given an unrestricted temporary work permit. With that, your spouse can work while you study. Be careful with your expectation, most work permit holders are only able to get “hustle jobs”. All the best.
Thank you very much

Good day all,
Please can you suggest colleges in Canada that offers Pgd In Agric? I checked Fanshawe and Flemming Colleges. Fanshawe offers 8 months Agric program which costs a total of 17,000 CAD and it's way over my budget for that duration. Fleming already closed application for that program. Please help. I want to apply for Jan 2021

Well, you might need to have a cogent reason to justify why u are going for a PGD instead of a masters (Purpose of Study),

Cos a VISA Officer can make a decision at his/her own discretion.

Have you tried applying for a thesis-based masters program and get a Supervisor, you might be lucky to get a fully -funded or Partially funded thesis program

U can Check page 112 for more info on that

Visit the link below for Schools offering Masters in Agric. Econs & Related programs
https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Agricultural+Economics&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language=ENGLISH

U can research about the Professors/Doctors in that department in their respective schools and send a contextualized e-mail to them

Note: Make sure the Research Area u are interested in aligns with the research interest of the Prof./Doctors you want to mail
Can I send you a mail please?

Yeah i have seen a lot of people who have submitted gift deeds. It's a common practice and very much accepted by the VO.
Yes it will be accepted if it’s less than a month and all you just have to do is make sure the gift deed is not poorly worded when writing your LOE. Below is a sample of how it should be started in your LOE.

GIFT DEED

I, Your Father Name, S/o Your Grandfather Name , R/o ADDRESS, do hereby on dated 00/10/2016 make a gift-deed for a gift made on dated of 00/10/2016, Rs. 000000/-

(Rupees Only) out of love and affection to my Son (Your Name), S/o Father Name, ADDRESS. I confirm that I am a resident of India. I, further confirm that this gift is

being made out of my own funds standing to the credit of my A/c No.- 000000000 in ABC Bank, Bank Address. I, further confirm that the consideration for this gift is

the love and affection for my Son (Your Name) and no other consideration.
I further confirm that the gift has been made by Cheque No. 000000 dated 00/10/2016 drawn on ABC Bank, BANK ADDRESS. This gift is irrevocable and I have no claim left

whatsoever on the said gifted amount and he is free to utilise it in any manner.

PLACE:

DATED:
(Your Father Name)

Witness:
The gift as stated above is accepted

(Your Name)
NB : The above should be written in your own words and you shouldn’t avoid plagiarism by all means.
I'm so grateful for your response. Can the gift deed be fixed in my account?

Hello Rach622,

To help you build ideas, you can go to the webpage of your department and/or program to read up what the program entails. You can as well support your findings with a brief research via Google coupled with your work experience. At the end, the acquired knowledge and understanding will make you to be impressed with yourself.

All the best
Thank you

Please can I use a gift deed from my Husband's elder brother as a proof of funds for my studies in canada?

How long should this gift deed have been with us? Can it be accepted if it's less than a month it was issued?

Sure, get a letter from your PFA showing you have access to it. Also, a 6month balance

https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/proof-of-funds-format-of-gift-deed-affidavit-and-loe.487054/

The link up there has a format.
You need two witnesses and a lawyer to draw it out. The gift deed should also show bank transaction

Also a letter of explanation saying where the money is from and that you have added supported docs

Hi,

Applying for an Advanced Diploma is not a Career Progression, even a PGD (based on ur 2.1) is slightly not a Career Progression, but you can still give it a shot since its a Graduate Program.

Normally Masters should be ur next move but like u said, u intend not to do a Masters

Since u are not able to get a PGD in Chemical Engineering from a College,
have you tried checking for PGD Chem. Engineering in Universities...

Google the following schools & their Chem. Engineering Programs

Graduate Certificate in Chemical Engineering
Concordia University, Quebec

Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering
Concordia University, Quebec

Postgraduate Diploma PGD in chemical engineering
University of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan

Graduate Diploma in Nuclear Engineering
McMaster University, Ontario

Graduate Diploma, Instrumental Chemical Analysis
Trent University, Ontario

PG.Cert, Process Quality Engineering
Conestoga College, Ontario
https://www.conestogac.on.ca/fulltime/process-quality-engineering

Note that in ur SOP (Statement of Purpose), you would need to give a cogent reason to a VISA OFFICER on why u are going for a PGD, instead of a Masters Degree[, if the reason is not cogent enough, it can raise a RED FLAG
I am also going for a PGD and I have a 2.1 in Agricultural Economics with 5 years working experinece I don't have any cogent reason for applying for PGD in Agriculture rather than Masters except funds. PgD is so much less expensive than Masters. What do you advise?

BeuHarry:
Your best bet is to look for how to increase your CRS to acceptable levels. PNP is not guaranteed but with the requisite hard work and time, you can work your way up to the required level of CRS. I know a 40 year old man that went to learn French and boosted his CRS to 470. He got his PPR last year.

You need to look at things like what is your highest educational qualification? If you have only B.Sc, go get a Masters (extra 39 points) or additional certificate eg CIMA, ACCA, PGD etc (extra 32 points).
Have you maxed IELTS?( I strongly doubt), you can aim for that and collect your bonus 50 points under adaptability.
How old are you? Are you married? Is your spouse younger? (they could be the PA)
Can you learn French? (why not, if you are determined).

Above all simulate your scores in each scenario and see the prospects and work towards it. Indians have finished giving IELTS since and are now busy giving TEF and collecting all the ITA slots.
Thank you for your response. I am in my late 20s and I am married. I have also written Ielts exam. I really appreciate your advice
