This is a false comparison. Banks already do real-time transfers every second using NIBSS, even if occasional delays happen due to traffic or reconciliation. That doesn’t invalidate the system.

INEC’s real-time transmission is not about perfection, it’s about reducing human interference. Once results are uploaded from the polling unit, they are time-stamped, publicly visible, and harder to manipulate.

Nigeria already uses real-time tech for BVN, NIN, POS payments, airtime, banking apps, and national exams. Suddenly, elections are where technology becomes “impossible”?

The real question is simple: Who benefits from delays and opaque collation? Certainly not voters. APC should come out and tell the world the actual reason they opposed real-time transmission of election results.

Let me prove to you that they are liars. This same government claimed they sent N-Power payment alerts to every LGA in Nigeria. Which Network did they use to achieve that?

They insisted that all Nigerians must submit their SIM/NIN details to terror sympathizer - Pantami in order for the NCC to trace criminals wherever they are.

Then, with the same mouth they are now saying INEC should not transmit results electronically because we do not have a national network. One argument cancels out the other.

Tinubu right from day one is an hypocrite. I have noticed that he doesn't talk about many things he used to advocate when he was an opposition.

Take for instance electronic voting, payment of oil subsidy, sovereign national conference, political restructuring, true federalism...
