I don't support the harsh implementation of this subsidy removal, but it's amusing that the same person who had a mean stance when the Lekki inhabitants where crying foul about the irresponsible Lekki toll, is here trying to play the blame card . . hercules07: Let them pay the toll jare or go by public transport, how do they expect the government to survive if they do not pay the toll, a 120 Naira or 240 Naira toll per day equates 5K per month, if you have no business leaving your area do not, do not add to congestion on the roads abeg. |

Akainzo, you have no shame . . So you boldly came here after your lame attempt at lying to defend the LASG oppressing Lekki triple toll gate . The One: @Akainzo Go and sit down somewhere. Subsidy removal is part of "development". At least govt has provided alternatives in bicycles and roads you can trek on. Lazy people, instead of identifying where to buy bicycle and safe trekking routes, you are here complaining. I'm sure you are all ACN- people politicizing this "development" initiative. If you cannot afford Nigeria, move to Cameroun! Imagine how shameless he is coming here to argue against subsidy removal . . after his previous vain attempt to paint the Lekki toll gates as the best developmental events that could ever happen for the lekki inhabitants Imagine the double pain the Lekki folks are feeling |

Gbawe: Why don't you carry on sitting on your neutral fence making noise then? People like you are just a waste of time. Do I write for your sort to read? You don't have bad belle yet you are a mind reader to note that "people just stare and hiss away without reading". Man mi you are a class A clown with how your dislike of individuals now lead you to foolishly allude to knowing what is on the mind of other Nairalanders. Utter childish garbage !!! Conclusive proof that some of you just enjoy silly e-bit.ching - that is why you are best ignored.
I don't know why it is so difficult to understand that not everyone wishes to be apolitical like you. Not everyone wants to sit on the fence savaging everything and everyone. The gross misrule of our Nation means we should all pitch our tent somewhere. Holier-than-thou folks like you , craving to be liked, will never understand that. Like I challenged Funkymallam above, why don't you move beyond conjecture and show where "blatant sycophantic predisposition to EmPeror TiNubu" leads me to defend even his wrongdoing? If sitting on the fence makes me impartial, choosing to critisize when needed and to also acknowledge good when seen, then being apolitical as you adduced is much better than being a double forked tongue individual. What do you gain by your constant 24/7 whine with long boring novels, no one cares to read, Your own idea of pitching your tent somewhere is to fervently defend a rouge party to counter another rouge party. don't you sound silly with such utter nonsense. In your twisted brain, belonging to a particular faction/party would solve Nigeria problems even when the divide are of the same content. In your twisted brain, defending each of the deficient party even to the level of pointing your leprous fingers soiled with party filth at others with similar methodology, is solving Nigeria problem. Wetin we no go hear
Gbawe, you are an hypocrite, wear it like a man and stop whining and seeking for flimsy excuses to justify it, by labeling people apolitical . |

Gbawe: Why should I indulge Nairalanders like you and Rad1cal , carrying bad belle for folks from one thread to the next, in your silly desire for e-fights? Everytime you comment these days, it is to accuse me of one thing or another like a scorned mistress. What is wrong with you? Can you simply not inspect what folks write on a case by case basis instead of deciding you will always attack everything they write? If I speak you say we support Tinubu and Fashola blindly- even as that is not the case. When I don't speak you say we are "evading" threads thereby denying other the right to refrain from passing comment. Dude, you are becoming obsessed with individuals here and you need to reign yourself in and get back to responding to what folks write instead of allowing personal prejudice taint your views every damn time. Bad belle you for what ogbeni, for your exposed hypocrisy of backing of the equally crooked ACN and their thieving leader Tinubu, while and at the same time pointing your finger currently dripping with ACN corrupt heist at others. Being the loudest critic of Jona is not my problem, you have a right to that. But being the loudest critic with an unusual obsession , yet also occupying the role of an avid staunch defender of the ACN and it's crooked Leader is terrible . . As long as you keep practicing selective and biased criticism, someone here needs to remind you of your shady side which is your undiluted and blatant sycophantic predisposition to EmPeror TiNubu cause . Imagine if the Lekki saga was of the PDP, you would have bombarded us with your usual long and boring novels, people just stare and hiss away without reading. You label others sycophants , but you were not aware you were a very big one. only resident in another party. |

Kobojunkie: ^^ are you playing games or what? The very post of yours I responded to was in fact YOUR FIRST POST on this thread.
What exactly is it that you think I am missing since the @Poster you responded to was probably trying to attack people for SELECTIVELY ATTACKING policies . . . and as one of those who is attacking this policy, I felt to direct my response at that, people's right to, unfortunately, selectively attack politicians. lol Finally she rediscovers, sure my first post you quoted was not referring to you. but you went in with a two footed tackle which had ramblings written all over. Just as we were winding down the curtain, you took us back to square one with this Kobojunkie: Why would I need to tell them that? Of course it is possible to REGRET voting one particular person. What is Selective criticism in that? They voted for the current man and now they regret doing that. Why do you have a problem with them regretting their vote for him? Why do you think it is not Ok for them to now state that they probably should not have voted for him?
Selective Criticism must be stopped? You mean you have the power to stop people from choosing to live as hypocrites?? And i asked you who voted for who ? As i was wondering how an ACN see no evil- hear no evil avid supporter regretted voting Jona in the context of the selective criticism i meant . Your erroneous thinking of being addressed made you lunge into an assault without analyzing what you quoted in the context of previous replies Questioning your understanding was on point Next time, kindly understand what you chose to attack |

Kobojunkie: I can't go back through since we are still on the first page. People voted and people regret . . . there has been a couple of articles in the papers by people stating they regretted voting the current man into power. Those who state that people now regret are not speaking of what we are unaware of. So again, I have no clue where you are heading with this but you probably want to go back through your own posts to see that I have tried to keep up with you on this. The highlighted sound silly. okay to make myself clearer, read the entire thread, read the post i quoted, read my posts, read your replies to my post and kindly re-post. jumping in the middle of nowhere is a very sad thing to do . |

You see, you thinking that the other is right because some sycophant chooses the other side is also a PROBLEM. . . you are just as much of the problem as the other side is. I am sitting here watching the back and forth and wondering when folks will snap out of this delusion that the other Party PDP/ACN is at fault, when we the Nigerian people continue to get the short end of the stick, no matter what side you sycophants decide on.

Sure there are hypocrites on both sides but as long as we continue to side step common sense when we feel like it, we will keep the circle going. Am sorry, you cannot change me now, so sit aside and watch. All selective criticism shall be checked. If you can answer my question below, then you need not quote me again Rad1cal: The right president was not Jona, neither was it Ribadu or Buhari.

Kobojunkie: When do we get tired of playing into their delusions, and demand no more lies be told us, both by ACN leaders and PDP leaders . . . infact all of them? Why is it that when a leader runs into trouble, he creates an OJUJU for the Nigerian people to fixate on, while he continues in the back to do use the fears to bolster his plan? The only sensible thing i could lay my hands on. Tell that to the hypocrites, selective criticism should not be the norm. warrior01: No matter how they gather with their hypocritical protest, I bet you it shall come to nought. Is the so called labour not part of the problems we are facing in this country? Is pengassan and nupeng that have been corroborating with the so called cabals to milk this country dry not part of them? The fact is that we are too hypocritical in this country with the way we carry out our selective condemnation of any idea that comes from the Fg no matter how laudable it is without even proferring any reasonable alternative. Thank you, the hypocrites screaming at the top of their voices are just full of bitterness . the cabals they claim holding Jona to ransome has the OANDO ( Tinubu henchman) with the largest chunk of the free subsidy cash If the Cabal is at blame then can we not say that the hypocrites who only bark when it 's not the ACN are also part of the blame. Because Tinubu is also part of the Cabal in OANDO. Talk about double forked tongued individuals. Showing about 7 Buses loaded with boys reffered to as "LASU Students" arriving at the protest point with cheers from some of them. The Protest did not go violent until the "LASU" student showed up. Meanwhile, None of the Media Houses reported Thugs with any evidence. In this age of technology and telecoms advancement in Nigeria how will thugs come to distrupt a protest and nobody could record any convincing picture either motion or still. Couldn't this picture be that of the so called LASU student when they were leaving? Wetin LASU students with Tolling of Lekki Expressway?
The burden of Convincing Evidence behoves on the people that made any allegation!!! QED you referenced silverbird TV, yet you failed to listen to the glaring part where the STV camera man was attacked by the thugs and his camera seized before entering their bus and zooming off quoting ochibs1010 " very funny indeed, i wonder if you read you comment before posting it, does anyone here look like a toddler to you? *mscheeeeeeeeeew*" |

When I humoured you, I asked you think think about a converse theorem going with your thinking. So the ACN govt is a fraud cos I a citizen of Lagos State chose to debate with you the merits or otherwise of a toll plaza on Lekki road? If you are trying to tell me there was no severe traffic build up today, then you have being certified to be just another liar unleashed here to deceive people . Akainzo: Hmmm, let me humour you a little, and go even with your unsubstantiated story of that you spent 2 hours on that road today. Now can you imagine how long you would have spent on it if the upgrade/ or expansion was not done? And now imagine how it would be on a Monday morning rush without the expansion, that would tell you something. And this is your intelligent attempt to obfuscate the lie peddled rampantly here that those erected tolls have reduced the traffic situation from an average of 3 hours to 30 mins . So it means the ACN led government is a fraud . Imagine a supposed intelligent SAN in Fashola justifying it on TV that it's the first technologically constructed toll in the country . is that the bone of contention ? So it's all about the technology involved and not the economic burden it would cause. Indeed sad. |
