chinchum: bullshit, the flight distance btw Lagos -Abuja can be in nautical miles not km. No sane person should compare road network distance with airways distance You are barking at the wrong tree. I exposed Fashola idiocy using his own words. Gov Fashola said: “President Goodluck Jonathan said he constructed 25,000 kilometres roads in the country. Now, the distance from Lagos to London is just over 5,000km. What the claim by the President means is that they have constructed a road from Lagos to London five times. But the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway that is 404km and has not been done. So where did they see the 25,000km roads? |

obailala: @Op My apologies but this is a very dull way to reason. So do you expect the new government to abandon ongoing projects in a bid to start their own projects?... Have you not heard that government is a continuum?.... Can you kindly name a single road project done by the last administration which wasnt started or touched by his predecessors? Now for all the projects scattered all over the place which was started by the previous government, what sense does it make to award thousands of projects but yet not a single one is finished?... After paying mobilisation fees, the rest of the funds are withheld/embezzled but they still come forward to the election grounds to claim they did x and y projects when in reality, all the projects are at infancy. Now the Op in his peculiar wisdom wants the new government to tow the same line by abandoning previous projects and starting new ones. doctokwus: [s]Most of the road projects were conceived and mainly started during the govts of Obj or Yar'Adua. Op, I dare u to mention ONE(1) road project conceived and started by gej during his time. In order to simplify this for u and save u from embarrassing yourself, please don't mention the Ore-Benin-Onitsha,Lagos-Ibadan,Onitsha-Owerri or the East-West roads because almost all these were started while gej was still a struggling, unknown lecturer somewhere and was still thinking of how to pay his next rent. So pls research and mention one his govt conceived, drew up the plan from the scratch and mobilized contractors to site[/s]. Boscojugunu: you are too dull. Just imagine the trash u are spewing. So u expect the current government to abandon all the ongoing projects embarked on by the last administration. E.g second Niger bridge. dolts every where. You don't continue what you thought was a waste of time and never existed cos it was all " paper achievements" |

lionness: The worst things about these people is they have their own blogs, eg: Olemba.com biafran.com etc, and they just quote trash from it and paste it on Nairaland. This exactly what BRF said, and the pathological liars are twisting it:
Gov Fashola said: “President Goodluck Jonathan said he constructed 25,000 kilometres roads in the country. Now, the distance from Lagos to London is just over 5,000km. What the claim by the President means is that they have constructed a road from Lagos to London five times. But the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway that is 404km and has not been done. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2010/11/12/lagos-has-built-more-roads-than-ghana-sleone-%E2%80%94fashola/
Nairaland mods should ask for reliable sources from these natural deceivers. And please, why the hell are these buffoons so inlove with GEJ? Where are the roads he built in their errosion region? OP is a dullard, this nonsense was trashed eons ago. see this yeye people, you failed to realize that urban road construction isn't like using a ruler to draw a straight line, it involves numerous twist and turns to connect two locations together. As small as Lagos is, Fashola once boasted he has constructed more roads than Ghana, will you also dispute that fact simply because Ghana is larger than Lagos. Governor Fashola who spoke at the official commissioning of New Plants and Equipment of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation at Oba Ogunnusi Road, Isheri added that in the last three years, 251 new roads comprising 371 kilometres have been completed within Lagos.
He explained that currently another 44 roads that will provide 77 kilometres of new roads are under construction and would be concluded within the next six months.
Governor Fashola also said in addition to this, another 60 new roads that would add 129 kilometres are under construction and would be completed beyond the six months timeline.
http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2010/11/12/lagos-has-built-more-roads-than-ghana-sleone-%E2%80%94fashola/ Fashola has claimed he has constructed about 371 km and is hoping to increase it to about 577km. The catch here is that the flight distance between Lagos and Abuja = 536Km[size=14pt] You see why Fashola is a very foolish hypocrite. Tufia. Something your corrupt, daft and clueless kleptomaniac defeated failure of a president could never do.
Keep ruminating in your agony. Your opinion is irrelevant
He recorded an 83 billion surplus from returned looted funds the Finance Ministry is unaware of . Lying, Copy and paste m0rons without a modicum of shame. Bwahahahahahahahahaha !!! |

Its not rocket science to see why you idolize a fellow dim-witted, shallow thinking and unintelligent failure of a President . Am surprised the "a fellow dim-witted, shallow thinking and unintelligent failure of a President" is the hallmark of this admin so called achievement (shamelessly stolen) . Shows how sadly depraved, uninspiring and dreadfully dull, the gallivanting liar is. The same failure constructed schools for those impoverished and enslaved by your geriatric lying President. He even helped their lots by building irrigation dams so that they don't starve . While at it, when the gallivanting dullard returns, he needs to release the names of those who returned loots in his "ongoing recovery process". This is the same TSA that you lame clueless duck Jonathan failed to implement despite having the idea incubated for him under his tenure.
I understand your frustration at President Buhari's sterling ability to curb waste. He failed to implement it , yet your geriatric dullard adopted it hook, line and sinker without his own inputs or subtle review. Shows what this admin is all about, Copy and Paste , while lying to the world at it. His foolishness is rubbing off on shameless nonentities like you. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Yet To Give Finance Ministry Details Of Recovered Loot — Adeosun by Rad1cal: 1:36pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
QuotaSystem: Typical doofus, are funds saved through TSA not funds saved by this administration?
You fail to comprehend that the processing of the recovered funds are ongoing.
Keep chasing your tail. With the TSA implementation, your silly points in defense of the lying gallivanting dull president is muted. With TSA, more funds are expected in the federation account since it is centralized . Only M0rons believe a surplus can only refer to returned looted funds. Revenue generated monthly stagger a lot. Only retarrds like you believe otherwise. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Yet To Give Finance Ministry Details Of Recovered Loot — Adeosun by Rad1cal: 1:24pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
ibitzbarlow: You forgot to add the billions of Naira in penalties on First Bank, Skye Bank and one other bank for not returning NNPC's accounts to the TSA. Those defending the minister and PMB also forget that revenues fluctuate and are not constant every month. Besides, there are some revenues (JVs and govt interests ) that come in once a year (e.g. the NLNG payments in June). All these could have increased our earnings in October. Let's also remember that we have been having difficulty selling our crude. This could also result in deferred sales, payments/proceeds from our oil exports.
Finally, I want to believe that with the TSA, any unexpected or unplanned revenue receipt wouldn't go unnoticed. So, my conjecture is that the minister probably knows nothing about the returned loots, she knows about the loots but do not have all the details and so decides not to mention the amount or she knows all about the returned loots but hasn't been authorized to release the figure to the public. Absolutely. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Yet To Give Finance Ministry Details Of Recovered Loot — Adeosun by Rad1cal: 1:22pm On Nov 28, 2015 |
QuotaSystem: Don't be silly. I have emphasized that the funds are either recovered funds and funds saved by this government's resolve to curb wastage. Whichever way you wailers spin it, it is still to the credit of President Buhari's government.
Take a hike if you're butt-hurt at the fact. You only emphasized your terrible sycophancy . TSA implementation is the key mate and not your phantom looted fund recovery We can't all be as daft as the rest of you who can die for your gallivanting lying dunce of a president. |
