Auto Gurus

I drive a Honda Accord LSI 2.0 97 European model Auto transmission (Honda Bullet) whenever I starts the car in the morning it doesn't idle properly it vibrate continuously and the the indicator on the tachometer reads far less than 1.

Whenever I drive for a long time or travels a long distance after coming to a halt the car idling goes high as far as 2 on the tachometer and goes up

I noticed all these issues after my Brother burnt the car gasket and took it for repairs. All effort to correct the problem by different technicians proved abortive.

So many advice was offered by the technicians which I feel are not correct
1. The engine is weak it has to be changed
2. The piston is bad

I need help on how to resolve the problem

I have Honda Accord 2.0i LS 96/97 European Model aka Bullet the central lock system works perfectly.
I don't I know if it can work with Remote control? If yes how do I meet you for the installation

Thank you for your contribution the cooling fan works perfectly, i changed the Fan at a time.
The mechanic only changed the Oil and Oil filter i do use AP Super V and he changed it to AP Visco 2000 that is all i could remember. When the temperature rises it get to the RED Zone

zhukafa: Open the radiator cover, crank the car and see if the water in the radiator would vomit water out. If it does, then you have to know that the top cylinder gasket is bad

@zhukafa Thanks for the contribution. I cranked the engine this morning and it vomit water out. What do you advice do i change the engine or work on the gasket if possible. Please i need your candid opinion because i dont want my technician to rip me off again. Thanks

Auto Guru in the house i need your help to sort out the overheating problem i have with my car (HONDA ACCORD 97 MODEL L4)i have done a lot of changes to the cooling system of the car (Changing of radiator, changing of hose, adding of coolant flushing of the radiator) all to avail.
I noticed the problem after i did my routine servicing of the car and my auto technician changed the lubricant i do use for the car though the lubricant is from the same manufacturer but of different grade.

Water now leak from the Injector that is what i noticed this morning i cant drive 2km without the thermometer not reaching the climax.

What is the way out of this problem

Is there any info about the NDLEA Recruitment it is over a month that test was conducted. Any info about next step

Nobody was mailed or sent text message it was clearly stated on their website that applicant should come for the aptitude text. I am not sure if another test will conducted again for another batch as you stated.

Ibadan where i took my test we are all authoritatively informed by the NDLEA Officers that successful candidates will shortlisted for the physical exercise and it will be published in the dailies in one month's time

The news was on sunday punch that apt test is on 10 and 12 and another one for 15 and 18 what i was in the dailies was that any applicant who as already submitted is form on line and as gotten acknowledgment is to come for the exam and i think where to write the exam is the place you choose as your exam centre. Am on mine so u just need to check the various centre t you fill for the exam.
I think that is where you write your exam.

I think we should not mix things up with this issue of Text message or email thing as it was not stated on the website that only candidates contacted should come for the test.
I will advise all candidates that applied to go for the test in the state they choose to write the exams irrespective if you are contacted via text message or email.

The people who are making movies are children and most of them are unintelligent. The person who is playing the Igwe roles in all the movies these days is Olu Jacobs. He is not an Igbo man. Simply do not understand why somebody who does not speak the Igbo language, who does not understand the culture, the mind and the psychology of a people should be the one playing those roles. This is the reason why those roles are not being properly interpreted. Have you ever seen a woman beside a Northern Emir. But I watched a film where people had to help hold Olu Jacobs wife in the movie and he basically despoiled her because she refused to have intimacy with him and he was supposed to be the Igwe in the film. That is an absolute insult to the traditional stools of the Igbo people. If he knew better he would have advised the producers of such a movie or should never have even taken part in it at all.

There are some courses like Marketing Purchasing and Supply etc been offered in this "glorified technical schools" the number of gradute been turned out in the polys are large and i think about 2-5 universities offer this courses presently in nigeria what will happen to the industry that requires all this skills are they going to continue to put square peg in a round hole.

I attended a Polytechnic too but i want us to objective with our argument about scrapping Polytechnic dont we need Technical education in this country again or what?

What about The Polytechnic Ibadan, The Polytechnic Auchi, and some other old Polytechnics in the country do u mean they will still remain as polytechnic because they are state owned.
I think the State Government should start to upgrade their polytechnics to university with the level of inconsistency in the federal govt decisions about the HND BSC descrimination

Some courses got to be scrapped from the polytechnic like Legal Studies etc because the schools that offer such courses lack what it takes to offer such courses. If UI LASU and the likes can be stopped by NUC to produce graduate from their LAW faculty with their long standing history and pedigree in the education industry how much more glorified technical schools

What is your own opinion as regard the Changing only 2 polytechnic in the counytry to University do u think it solve the desrimination?

I think all Polytechnic in the country should be re-accredited based on the new NBTE or NUC standard successful polytechnic will then be allowed to award BTech or converted to University

To be candid with ourself do you think changing polytechnics to university really worth it with the level of some of our polytechnics in Nigeria. I had the opportunity to visit several polytechnic in Nigeria they are not well funded and their infrastructures are nothing to talk about

I am of the Opinion that some selected Polytechnic should be allowed to award BTech
