Well, I said it. Kidnapping has made its way into Lagos. I guess we all need to start going around with protection.

The police in Lagos on Friday arrested five men and a lady who allegedly kidnapped a 20 month-old baby at the Trade Fair Complex, Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

Before their arrest, the suspects had demanded a N2m ransom.

The six, Ikenna Uzo, Chike Emeanu, Chigozie Eze, Chimezie Ezenatoh, Tony Ngwu and Fransisca Adukwe were allegedly led by Uzo, who was a neighbour to the kidnapped boy‘s mother at the Trade Fair Complex.

We actually do need a rethink of were our country is going. Just lately, in Asaba, a lawyer was kidnapped and ransomed for N5million Naira. Mark my words,  it will be regular folks being kidnapped for N10,000. Watch out and see.

All these countries are getting much tougher. That's crazy.
