Education / Re: Lost Bsc Certificate. Pls Help by radwad(m): 9:19am On Feb 18, 2019
Eyeness:
Thank you. My school is unilag. I was told they dont issue certificate twice in unilag

Go to any nearest police station......Get a police report
Go to a high court....Get a court affidavit.
Then go to your school with this documents alongside the photocopy of your missing certificate and request for a new certificate. Don't just assume they don't give certificate twice in your school.confirm yourself.

If they refuse to issue another certificate, scan the photocopy for save on Google drive.i am sorry you may have to deal with that for a long time.
Anytime your original certificate is requested, then you present the photocopy alongside the police report and court affidavit.

Best of luck

Good morning.
Please I need advise on my visa application.i intend to visit UK for medical EXAM. However,I recently got a lump deposit of 300k in my bank account, which I'm finding it hard to explain.my monthly salary is about 260k though. However,I tagged the payment as red chilli sales as I couldn't find any explanation to give for the deposit...Also,I have been advised to provide evidence that I actually sold the commodity( was actually sold to local market women who can't provide any receipt or no company registration)...PLEASE HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS.

@justwise,I sent you a personal email yesterday on this matter but you didn't reply, I guess it's against the rule of the house.i am really sorry for that.Your contribution will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Thank you vry much for your time.
1) No evidence whatsoever for the business deals. The business is a local one.its all about we receive phone calls to supply probably a truck of bags of maize to a local dealer and then we collect our money after few weeks.
so thats my challenges..OR should i just i state that the money is for debt payment?.

justwise:

1. Explain it on the form and show evidence of the business dealings..e.g receipts and contract papers

2. This is the same as number 1 question

3. Budget this trip within two months of your salaries(500K) to give yourself a better chance of getting a visa, focus on cost of flight, accommodation, transport within the UK and feeding. Shopping shouldn't be part of this.

Locate a hotel close to your exam centre to reduce cost of transport, look for budget hotels(travelodge, premier Inn, and many others) some go as low as £30-40 per night.

Get the actual cost of flight, hotel, transport cost within the city you will be staying to help you come up with an accurate budget. If you guessed these figures the ECO will know because its pretty easy to find out online.

This will help you answer question about how much the trip will cost you.

There is no need moving money around now since both accounts are yours and you have access to them.

Submit both accounts and explain the source of money on them. The record of transfer from salary account to savings will help you explain things
.

Thanks alot.
1)How do i go about the 600k deposit i told you about?.should i still allow the deposit to bee done at once or instalmentally?.preferably to my salary or savings account?.
2)How do i explain the money is frm the proceeds of my unregistered business and not be denied of visa.
3) the #1million naira is what i intend to state as my cost of expenses viz-a-viz flight ticket and hotel booking and money to spend on other miscellaneous in d UK...so,how do u think i should do the breakdown for the question of "HOW MUCH DO U INTEND TO SPEND IN UK" that will my visa application sensible(need to remind u my salary is 250k/month).
4)Also dont forget that in my application,i intend to state that i want to spend 2weeks for the vacation as part of my annual leave.
***I wouldnt spend more than 2-3days after my exam***

@Justwise and other learned contributors please.

@ Justwise and other gurus, may GOD continue to bless because your commitment to this thread has been unequivocally great.

PLEASE BAIL ME OUT,AND DONT MIND MY LONG STORY.I NEED UR EXPERIENCED GUIDANCE.

I intend to apply for standard visitor visa (tourist intent) by may 2017 even though my TRUE INTENTION is to sit a professional exam which will hold by june. I currently work in a federal government establishment with monthly salary of 250k. My other source of income is not registered(maize selling business).
I have two active bank accounts(salary and savings accounts).currently,i dont have money in the salary account but have 500k in the savings account and expecting about 600k frm my colleague @ work(debt payment+profit from our maize selling business).I beleive 1million naira will cover my expenses as am nt going to stay more than 5-7days.Invitation letter from a cousin already resolved.

Please i need guidance especially on the issue of bank statement beacuse once i transfer the money frm my savings account back to the salary account and recieve my outstanding debt payment, hope it wouldnt look like lodgement.i am confused.

Thanks

@ radwad, I have been living in Tanzania for 15yrs and last month I was there.
Manyara, Tarangire and Serengeti all are national parks.
Manyara and Tarangire located in about 2hrs drive from Arusha town, while Serengeti is about 4hrs drive from Arusha.
Ngorongoro is conservation area but very nice place to visit (ngorongoro is among unesco's seven wonders of world) and is about 3hrs drive from Arusha town.
U can't enjoy just to visit Arusha town.
From dar es salaam to Arusha by road is 700km about 10hrs drive and by flight is only one hour. Note in Arusha there is two airports one is KIA 50km out of Arusha town and Arusha airport 15km out of town.

your response is very informative.thanks alot.i can see your several years of stay over there gave you the oportunity of knowing the terrain very well.
please dont call me oliver twist cos i still have more things to ask.
on an avearge, how much do you think is wise enough for an individual to budget for the whole expedition, plus flight ticket cost from naija to daar

My friend
If you want to enjoy (wildlife&nature) go to Arusha and plan your safari like this: start with Manyara-Ngorongoro-Serengeti finish with Tarangire and come back to Arusha town. Finish your holiday in Zanzibar where you will enjoy nice beaches. Dar es salaam is big city and commercial capita of Tz but not gud place for holiday.

@mibas,sorry to ask, have you been to tanzania before??..
are manyara, ngorongoro and serengeti all in arusha town?.
how far is arusha from Dar es salaam by road/air.thanks
