We have tried it for Lucky Igbinedon in Edo state and even though he repeated, he failed again. Incidentally, Lucky Igbinedon is also from PDP. Nigeria destiny is too big to be put in the hand of somebody that has failed for almost 6yrs now. It is not kneeling down or showing false humility here and there that leadership, performance and competence require or entails. Obasanjo is a Christian and was President in this nation. He was not going about churches here and there yet he showed competence, leadership and he out performed GEJ. All this delay tactics, false humility and buying of sympathy can not save him. Some people who are not corrupt and are forward looking build Dubai out of their own oil prosperity because of a time like this. But ours is a country that is led by selfish and corrupt leaders over the years. Nothing was built out of our own oil prosperity. Not even the good standard of living for his people not to talk of future fall back measures like the Dubai in the middle east. BlackTechnology:Guy am a Christian, but if we must progress in this country, we must leave religion out of politics. Fashola is a muslim and he has perfomed above average in the Governance of Lagos, Akpabio is a christian and he has equally performed above average in Akwa Ibom. Lucky Igbinedon, former Gov of Edo state is a Christian and he performed WOEFULLY when he governed the state for 8yrs, Adams Oshiomole is a muslim and he is performing above average in Edo presently. Aregbesola is a muslim and he is equally performing above average in Osun. Idris Wada of Kogi state is a muslim and he is performing below expectation in the state. Therefore we should not vote based on religion but based on the records of the candidate. If we are not careful with the way we easily bring in religion into our politics in this country, we may rock the boat of this nation faster than we expect. 6 Likes |

This is exactly my problem with this country since PHCN was privatized. The FG has systematically be siphoning the money meant for the citizens by claiming to continually spending on an establishment that is already privatized. The excuse for selling PHCN to themselves in the first place was that Govt can no longer spend huge amount on the sector without commensurate result. Now that they sole PHCN, WHY spending FG money on it again. You guys leading us certainly want this nation to bleed to dead. Why spending money on PHCN again for God sake. No i disagree with u. A legitimate govt shld do legitimate busness of money transaction. This is pure money laundering which is carefully planned. They could have use one of the 11 presidential jets if truely they want to use it to buy arms for the defence of the country, but to carefully deceive and fool the sensibilities of people, they used private jet. Now, when the case of Liberian Sawyer first came up, I have postulated Port-harcourt(Ph) and Abuja as the next most vulnerable cities in the country. This is because of volume of people that travel by air and by road from Lagos to either Ph or Abuja daily. It is not unusual to have it spreading going by our antecedent of carelessness, poor planning and faulty preparation. Nigeria is a joke! If not, no single Nigerian have this Ebola initially, but our Govt, agencies of Govt at the boarder and airport folded their arm and allow the dammed thing to crawled into the country from far off country. I am beginning to lose hope in this country. We can not get anything right? What is the problem with us? princenayo: The truth is that the PDP has shown a lot of maturity in politics than the APC. APC has been complaining of militarization and rigging. Hope they wont say The election was rigged?Prince, do not blame APC, how do u explain a situation where Gov Oshiomole, Gov Rotimi Ameachi, Gov Kwankaso, Gov Aregbesola and other APC chieftains were prevented from moving by road and by air to do final solidariy campaign for Gov Fayemi in Ekiti state few days to the election that produced Gov elect Fayose of PDP. What else do u want them (APC) to call it when soldiers stop Govs convoy and ordered them to go back or they would be shot at. Yes APC complained but PDP led Govt gave them plenty opportunity to do so in Ekiti. So it is not unusual for APC to raise alarm as the build up of military increases in Osun when the election was approaching. Now the poser is this, will FG be able to deploy these numbers of military and security personnel to all the 36 states and FCT simultaneously when the main election is going to hold in 2015? |
