Stannis is a real boss. Despite being abadoned by half of his men they were able to slaughter ramsay's men. Stannis to much, so sad that lady (cant remember her name) decided to kill him.

I thought I will be rejoicing after this episode. But the writers went with a sad ending. Sad for stark and Baratheon fans and Lannisters, happy for Bolton fans.

@ topic Was looking through GOT on imdb and saw some real life pics of the actors.. Just realizing most of them are from London/UK. Wow. Only few Americans if at all. I guess because the English have such cool accents that go so well with the medieval theme of the series.

You guys should stop watching the show with the eyes of the world today. Watch it with the eyes of the world the characters are in.
Melisandre is not evil, she worships a God who demands a high price for the task they are trying to accomplish. How is it different from the many-faced god or the seven or whatever?
One bad act from a good man doesn't automatically make him good just as one good act from a bad man doesn't automatically make them good.

That's what all these guys don't know....GOT isn't just a movie...it is reality. It is what happens in d real world and that's why it's interesting. It makes you know that smart & wicked people succeed while dummb and good people suffer.
I hope people learn from this especially the ladies...they're too pre-occupied with the Happily Ever After endings which rarely exist in the real world out there.

No. I don't think you are just a fan boy of stannis, rather it seems that you and I are the very few ones that don't attach sentiment to GOT.

Imagine people saying that Ramsay should kill stannis as if Ramsay is now a saint..If stannis meet Ramsay, he will finish him due to a lot of battle experience.

Despite I like Ramsay, I like stannis more. Stannis has my full support..I hope he conquers the Bolton's.

He could have managed. Fished the lakes, which will be teeming with fish since its cold. They could have shown us Northern lords. There are lots of Castles he could have gone to ask for help, or he coulda tried to ask. They could have shown them suffering, not for him to just outright listen to Mel. He could have waited for Davos. It looked as if he sent Davos off, in a white elephant quest, and when Davos was gone burnt Shireen. He could have killed the horses and eaten them. As he burnt Shireen, food won't just come out of nowhere if it wasnt there in the first place. Davos was a smuggler for f*cks sake. Stannis just gave up.

Just watched it and came out a mixture of disappointed and angry, mostly angry. The show just took one of the most favorite characters in the book and made him a idiot mad man with delusions of grandeur. This is a man who was said to be all about family and honor,who was shown to love his daughter and then turns around to do the most despicable action possible. it is also very stupid.

1. His army is made of mostly unbelievers, people who are going to have a problem with burning children and with the stuff they've been through might just rebel.

2. Let's assume he wins, no great house is going to support him once they learn of this. it is too much a reminder of Aerys the Mad King. So how exactly does he plan to take the Iron Throne now?

Character-wise too, this puts him above Ramsay, Roose, Joffrey, Tywin, Cersei and Walder Frey. Say what you want about how terrible those characters were, atleast they never burned their children for the sake of ambition.

About the number he requested for, I actually had 20 and 100 in mind while typing, I just felt he isn't that much of a sissy to have requested for 20 men, so I gave him 100, he's still a sissy
