Oyenike, welcom to the thread. Your 3.25 is eligible to apply into the University of Ibadan as UPPER CREDIT is the ivory tower's Direct Entry minimum requirement. Meanwhile, you have a bright chance. Your O'levels ain't bad either. You only need to forward your transcript as earlier as possible once you've registered for the 2016/2017 Jamb DE. After that, keep your admission prayerpoints alive as there's nothing God can't do.
And have you made your findings, does UI offer Banking and Finance as a Managemental course? You need to be abreast of informations. Pls read thier brochure.

you have a very big and bright chance. But I tell you, bro, you have no real chance this year. The followin are the reasons:
1. You're yet to complete your Diploma program. Hence your final results couldn't have been released before the whole Direct Entry process begins.
2. You're a Part Timer. Part Time students MUST do regularization with Jamb.
3. Subsequent to your unavailable results, your transcripts wouldn't have been possible to forward to the Direct Entry choice of Institution.
MY ADVISE...
i. Get more serious about your academics and graduate with Distinction or a very strong Upper Credit in your course of study.
ii. Follow all the process for this year's Direct Entry format on this thread so that you'd be on course and well informed when you finally get to obtain the form too next year, 2017.
Doing the above, your extent of getting informed knows no bound. You're going places I tell you...

pls be informed that the University of Ibadan don't transact with third parties. Meanwhile, the university website is not yet updated on any Utme Jamb or Direct Entry information as the school is still in its First Semester. Examinations commences May 23rd.
Do not fall for scam. Do not heed to the bearer's cheat information. Do not pay into anyone's account. The University management wouldn't answer for this. Every information you need as Direct Entry processing proceeds would be analysed to you here on this thread. Once again, don't fall for cheap pretty scam. Be warned!

welcome fellow fedpolite. Your Upper Credit is strong no doubt. Also your O'levels is there to compete. The only thing you need do is be serious about your transcript. Ensure you forward it to the Admissions Office and confirm it reaches there as soon as possible when you've registered for DE. Lastly, make prayers your friend.
Additionally, you need not worry about purchase in change in name for regularization cos there's little or no provision for that. Only your 'Regularized Jamb Registration Number' is required.

My active brother thanks for the prompt reply,I finished with my program since 2014,last year I even requested for my transcript which I got (but not for the purpose of DE) and this is to establish the fact that those results are the final results approved by the senate of the school and approved in Abuja,may God almighty bless your brain and protect you so as to continue to contribute ur own quota to our beloved society.

UI requires NYSC discharge certificate for Degree holders.

Someone said I should login to my school e-portal and that I can print the statement of results from there,this is because our results are uploaded on the school e-portal each semester,as in; courses,scores,grades and CGPA for each semester,and then the overall CGPA a student graduated with,so now this is a kind of relieve to me as I can just go to any cafe of my choice and print this statement of result without having to go to the HOD's office or waiting for his secretary to come out of a meeting (I think u understant my point bro),so the question is,is this form of statement acceptable? So I can go ahead and print it then submit it along with my DE print out and O'level,thanks.

as long as it bears the statistical analyses of your courses and grades at each semester ending, then there is no problem with that. And so far your school has made it easier for you as they release your results uploaded onlined, you're more conveniented. But however, having said that, you need to make necessary clarifications from your School Admission Office or your department if the Statement of Result uploaded online are the final ones you'd have collected from school. If their reply is positive, then there's no doubt you're good to go.

Notification of results is a valid paper issued to you by the management bearing your grade of graduation, ie Lower, Upper or Distinction. It is readily available, once your result is out, in the Academics unit of the institution so you need not fear going to your department. It is only the statement of result you're likely to collect from the department.
2. The 3 fundamental requirements are those that I've earlier mentioned. You need not either birth or local government certificates. Dazzol

why not apply for agric tech also? UI dislikes wanderin from one faculty to another. I'd best advise you to forgo animal science because it is from an entirely different faculty. It doesn't correspond you know, hence dissatisfyin one of UI's Direct Entry requirement policies. My advise is that you go for Agric Tech yet again so dat your chances at Admission would be brighter.

each semester would be printed each on paper while the final semester or overall which bears your grade is printed on JUST a single printout which my friend YoBoyfwend was talking about.
And pls note that your statement of result can only be collected at the Admissions Office via your Department as against your thinking. Only the management has authority over that. Dazzol

Goto Administrative Building then to Admissions Office. It is possible they refer you to the ILPO office. There you'd know the next step.

guys help oo. afta my Frnd was regularized wat he saw on jamb site is martins chinedu m. instead of martins chinedu Micheal dat was written on his nd result. which means his third name hs bn initialized. now he wanted to fill d DE form, he was told dat he can't write it in full. I.e he will av to fill d form wit martins chinedu m. hope dat won't affect his admission oo.

that's a lie....... Statement of result only shows if its upper or lower credit you finished with. Transcript shows all what you just described.

my brother, calm down and don't be so blunt! I understand you but try doing same. It is on record that for every range of courses you undertake in a semester, there is a statement of result. For Year One which comprise of 1st and 2nd semesters, that is two different academic report. Now when it's year two, same is done. This is what, from begining make up your GPA and consequently makeup your overall CGPA.
At the end of your programme, the overall sum of courses with their well taken units are aggregated and cumulated to give one's graduating CGPA and grade whether Distinction, Upper or Lower.
In totality, there are about two or four statement of results (depending on how it was recorded by issuing polytechnic) to be collected at freewill at the end of the programme. I collected mine.
BTW, the Original Statement of results (the one I think you're talking about) are not always easily available, so does the Certificate. Hence, notification of result is issued. But get me(it) right, Statistically Statement of Results can -in my own opinion- best be described as 'lesser transcript'.

Statement of Results can best be described as 'less transcript'. It contains one's overall courses taken for each semester with all course units and grades for each semester clearly stated.

just your final grade (distinction or upper),your O level result ,the month and year you finished from poly,your previous course of study and the course you are going for .I think that's all I can remember for now .

dazzol. Thanks a million. After registration, one is to submit the DE printout to Jamb and some credentials. What are these credentials and is one's Statement of Result inclusive?
