PoliticsRe: Release Nnamdi Kanu And Give Us Biafra Or Expect More Attacks On pipline Gen Ben by RandomVic(m):
The people of Nigeria Delta has every right to be frustrated, angry and bitter. Take South Africa instance, Mining has been the mainstay of the economy of that country for hundreds of years - Gold to be specific. The regions where the precious stones are mined are one of the best places in Africa in terms of infrastructure developments and pretty much everything. Why hasn't the Nigerian government do same in the Niger Delta? Being the region that pretty much feeds every single one of us in this country I feel the region should have been given special status, as a matter of fact treat it like some fragile egg instead Niger Delta remains impoverish, unorganized, poor, dilapidated.... The militants are right!

****And you are a kid.. Have you yourself been to any form of guerrilla warfere training.. Don't say what you can never phantom...If the NA will suffer heavy casualty, why is de NDA running away? You don't have an idea.. Some 8diot the other day mentioned that mikitants were killing soldiers during the time of OBJ... Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha... I laugh in sawahili..The NDA CANNOT even match BH.. Talkless of the NIGERIAN military.... You have no freaking idea.... .
Brainless buffoon go back and read my comments some more then come back and quote me. You know nothing about the military, just jumping up and down the thread like headless chicken. My dad is a full fledge military man, he retired a Captain, served in Sierra Leone for the Nigeria army, he himself told me this things. The Sierra Leonian civil war lasted over a decade, the Sierra Leonian government forces were decimated by rebels who engaged them in Guerrilla tactics. Buhari should thread carefully, should follow the path of dialogue... A win-win for everybody. Going all commando on NDA would be catastrophic for the military, I repeat catastrophic!
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Avengers Guerrilla Methods A Nightmare To The Military - Daily Trust by RandomVic(m):
I said it before and I'll gladly say it again, should the NA go all out on the Avengers, the result would be most catastrophic to the NA and to the people of the region. For the Avengers? Not really, since they'd be operating in a hit and run guerrilla tactics. I'm not a prophet of doom neither am I an hater but the NA would suffer heavy casualty. I'm just stating the bitter truth here. Guerrilla warfares are no child's play, even the most powerful countries in the world would find it hard to engage in one.

I subscribed to Airtel's 1gb for 1k Android plan on April 12, a plan which didn't take me up to 10 days to exhaust, it's no secret Airtel's zaps data twice as much as other networks. Only for airtel to autorenew my subscription the moment i credited my line with 1k to subscribe to bb monthly, this happened May 13. I never knew autorenew existed on airtel network. I never wanted an autorenew. I never wanted this plan since they were better plans been rolled out. I wanted airtel to take back their 1gb and refund me my 1k which seem like a fairly easy thing to do, considering the fact that I haven't even touched the data and it was still in the same damn day. So I called CC, a guy picked the call only for him to drop the call just like that, I called the second time, a lady picked she did a check up on my number, she assured me that all will be sorted out before 12hrs, that was on the 13th some 48 hours ago now! I have called CC up to 10 times now, they all seem to say the same damn thing! 12hrs 12hrs 12hrs! What's wrong with airtel for God's sake?! Why are they so appalling? You might want to know I was in Similar situation with etisalat last year. Etisalat sorted out everything the very moment I spoke with a customer rep, my credit was refunded the data was removed, simple as ABC. Is 1k too big for airtel to relinquish? Their 1gb is just sitting their for two freaking days now. I'm just tired with airtel aswear!

You are simply repeating what you've said.At least He provided a source that can be relied to some extent. Why can't they also provide any to back up their claims.Trying to use the 'wikipedia article may be inaccurate' saying just won't work.In fact what he cites is history that is already generally well known to a knowledgeable person.
I can't tell whether what he stated was right or wrong, i'll admit i don't know much about that aspect of history.. I was only informing him that wikipedia can be very erroneous. He clearly understand this so we are good.

"you are wrong. certain documents and files on wikipedia must

consumption, especially when such info is about history"
You can't even edit some major topics on wikipedia, moreover, for how long did the "Ajala the traveller" remain on the wikipedia page.Wikipedia is still one of the most reliable sources on the internet.
The fact that almost anyone can pretty much edit any article on wikipedia as he or she pleases is discomforting. Very discomforting in deed. If you're to provide Wikipedia as your proof of point in a debate be sure to back it up with relevant citation from a more reliable souce.
wikipedia itself says, “We do not expect you to trust us.” It adds that it is “not a primary source” and that “because
some articles may contain errors,” you
should “not use Wikipedia to make
critical decisions.”

.
Secondly if their info is nt reliable why are they ranked as 1st in google search and even recommended by google as highly reliable.
.
Not entirely true. It admits that because they allowed for anonymouse editing, articles on their website should not always be taken as authentic. Wikipedia doesn't have the resources to crosscheck for authenticity every single one of the thousands of article/history/facts/biographies/ documents/ files etc posted on the website on a daily basis.
Recently, Pres. Buhari Wikipedia page was tempered with; someone altered one of his nicknames to 'Ajala The Traveller'. Any disgruntled fellow could have done that. There are plethora of similar cases as the Buhari's. Wikipedia is never a point of reference and should never be used to validate a point, never.

The formation of military religious ordersscandalised the Orthodox Byzantines, and crusaders pillaged countries they crossed on their journey east. Violating their oath to restore land to the Byzantines, they often kept the land for themselves. The early People's Crusade instigated a pogrom in the Rhineland and the massacre of thousands of Jews in Central Europe .and also The Fourth Crusade resulted in the sacking of Constantinople, effectively ending any chance of reconciling the East–West Schism and leading to the fall of the Byzantine Empire to the Ottomans. Enlightenment historians criticized the Crusades' misdirection—that of the Fourth in particular, which attacked a Christian power (the Byzantine Empire) instead of Islam . David Nicolle called the Fourth Crusade controversial in its "betrayal" of Byzantium, and in The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire Edward Gibbon wrote that the crusaders' efforts would have been more effective improving their own countries.

.
Despite their oaths and the threat of excommunication, the Crusaders systematically violated the city's holy sanctuaries, destroying or stealing all they could lay hands on; nothing was spared, not even the tombs of the emperors inside the St Apostles church. The civilian population of Constantinople were subject to the Crusaders' ruthless lust for spoils and glory; thousands of them were killed in cold blood.Women, even nuns , were raped by the Crusader army , which also sacked churches, monasteries and convents. The very altars of these churches were smashed and torn to pieces for their gold and marble by the warriors who had sworn to fight in service of the Pope without question.

The Massacre of the Latins (Italian : Massacro dei Latini ; Greeksmiley was a large-scale massacre of the Roman Catholic (called "Latin"wink inhabitants of Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire , by the Eastern Orthodox population of the city in April 1182. The Roman Catholics of Constantinople at that time dominated the city's maritime trade and financial sector. Although precise numbers are unavailable, the bulk of the Latin community, estimated at 60,000 at the time by Eustathius of Thessalonica, was wiped out or forced to flee . The Genoese and Pisan communities especially were decimated, and some 4,000 survivors were sold as slaves to the (Turkish) Sultanate of Rum.The massacre further worsened relations and increased enmity between the Western and Eastern Christian churches, and a sequence of hostilities between the two followed.
