How do you find out whenever dates are released by the consulate.
Have been searching for date for august or September but its been frustrating.

I got info from an insider source that the US embassy is not releasing any closer interview dates again this year and they would also be denying 98% of expedited interview requests

So I advice y’all seeking for dates to defer your admissions or look at studying in another country !

UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Germany etc

Please no one should suggest that I defer the admission. Please. Because deferring will mean I will have to look for another scholarship and I will have to pay for another Homeland Security fee. I SUFFERED BEFORE A SCHOOL DECIDED TO HELP ME WITH A SCHOLARSHIP.

If the US embassy in Nigeria won't allow us to do VISA interview, why did they force us to pay 216,000 naira for Homeland Security to secure an interview that won't take place?

And we have to pay another 216k (if not higher) if we defer admission to the next session. We have to pay another. Come on!

Good morning, My interview date is 18th August and Programme starts on 22nd August. Classes starts on 29th August.

I contacted the school and I was informed that the Interview date is okay since class will start on 29th of August.

I want to know if there is anyone here who got his/her visa approved with this close date and still allowed to enter the USA.
