In 2010, I forgot 'my own' birthday. My gf came home with a very nice carved cake and some birthday gift, and when I saw all those things, the 1st question I asked her was "Is today your birthday" ?. . .It was her that reminded me that it was for my birthday celebration, and I was left dumb-founded!

Meanwhile, I also forgot her birthday that same year, but stil, live goes on!

Topic - I think personality will be my major concern b'cos, nobody will like to be someone that he or she will not be happy with.

Trying to make a 'Nollywood' drama of this issue is sickening! Science has reached a level where a woman can get pregnant without sleeping with a man. This is called InVitro Fertilization (IVF). Let your friend search for one of the good assisted reproductive clinics in Nigeria and allow his wife have an IVF, at least he is a businessman and can afford a decent way of having babies. Try and educate him on this and also tell him to reveal this 'infertility secret' to his wife and stop looking for whom to impregnate her. There are sperm banks in clinics where IVF takes place and she would not need to be traumatized with the idea of sleeping with another man under her husband's roof just because they wanted children. You need not sleep with her or talk to her about it. Only educate your friend well on this issue and help make the search of the various IVF centres in Nigeria.

Its better you send your daughter out on the street than force her to a home or family where she is not welcomed. As long as its not RAP.E, any outcome of consented intimacy between 'of-aged' pairs is not a crime (eg. pregnancy, heartbreak, HIV, etc. ). If parents likes it or not, it is their responsibility as a parent to take care of her as you would do if she gets into any other form of trouble.
Forget the "he/she is an adult" thing; In Nigeria, being >=18yrs does not make you an adult. However **NOTE** In the Nigerian contest (you can prove me wrong), an adult is a person (male or female) who is over 30yrs or a person that can take care of him/herself financially.

My once X-gf's immidiate elder sister refused marryin a guy that pregnanted her, and I was present when her father called the guy and told him that her daughter refused him as her husband despite him being the father of her baby. And the boy accepted what the father said with clean & clear conscience, and moved on. Being a kind person that the guy was, he stil buys baby items and send money to the girl to take care of the baby!

After that, it's a shame that the girl later had THREE more babies from THREE different guys, what a shame!
