Nigerian political actors are still acting Nollyhood movies, may be by time they finish part one, they will start to think about the unemployment they promised to reduce. |
The race has just begun. Tinubu is a political strategist both locally and nation-wide. Buhari's victory is a product of his political skill. Saraki and Atiku have always been political rebels. Atiku was getting back at Tinubu for loosing the APC ticket to Buhari. To me, in all of these dramas, I have a feeling that Nigeria will benefit, democracy will triumph above those individual's interests. |
I know it is culturally unthinkable in Africa and most culture around the world for man to adopt his wife's surname after marriage. Though, we have seen merger of names in Nigeria, especially where the wife had a surname that rings bell in the society, she combine her husband's surname with that of hers. However, in this modern time, if one decides to negate the cultural beliefs and then decided to adopt his wife's surname for some reasons best known to him, what could be the legal implications? Let's discuss practically. |
Hope alive! But how hopeful can we stay on this very recruitment that never seems to kick off from on set? Well, let's hope that the wind of change that's now blowing will blow us something good soon. |
The joystick's length, was it to be measured when @attention or when lazy? |

Chinua Achebe, of blessed memory, in his book titled "The trouble with Nigeria" identified LEADERSHIP as the core problem militating against the nation's development. That was 1982. Today, the trouble with Nigeria still revolves around poor leadership style despite the fact that some of the then youth are now in the power corridor. The old leaders are corrupt, no doubt, but the few opportuned youths (like Dimeji, fani-kayode and co.) have not shown any interest to tred a path to development differently from their older generation. Truth be told, our value system at the moment in this country does not promote progress, the leaders and followers need a change of attitude towards the enhancement of human condition. To redeem Nigeria from her present predicament, it must not be business as usual. To get a different result from what it use be, Nigerians.must learn how to do it differently with up coming 2015 general election. But the big question is "given the crop of policians indicating interest in the up coming elections, is Nigeria redeemable? |

There is one I once had on my T-shirt back in school. It read "Oh Babe, I like it on top". |
@Op & all, this is a systemic issue, nothing is working in Nigeria of today. There is no discipline, apart from those from the medical sciences, that is not affected by this unemployment saga, even Lawyers are lamenting. The truth is that there is a paradigm shift from job seeking to job creation. Our father's generation that benefited greatly from the industrial revolution should have acted with foresight by creating enabling environment for this generation, instead, they were busy politiking and partying. Thus, the onus in on us to think of whatever menial job (trading or apprenticeship) that we can do to empower ourselves and then engage in serious self-education towards our goals. No time, stop crossing legs, your kids will ask you what did you do to redress the situation when you discover that your father's generation have failed you. |
Where is your location? I'm interested in Palm Oil. Do you have friendly wholesales prices? Your contact pls. |
