RIP DoDomanyan! No doubt, left your foot in the sand of time! |
*Copied* SCAMMERS CAN NOW BE CAUGHT! *Have you mistakenly or greedily sent 50k to get 100k in 5 minutes and then later realized that you have been scammed?* And the scammer even went on to rub your ignorance on your face too?? *Good news to you* *STEPS ON HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.* I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed". Please read careful and learn. 20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful. Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you: 1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB). 2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person. 3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER". 4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD. 5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it. While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) this will ginger the bank to take it up fast. What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank. Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money. Endeavour to Share with Friends and Family! |
I found this piece on WhatsApp and i think I should share it here as it has always been one of the questions on my mind. Read on: Is Polygamy Really a Sin? I want to shake tables today!! Please do not crucify me for this, not because I want to marry a second wife but rather, I found this a thought provoking write up on a Christian platform, and it is worth discussing on other platforms, and amongst Christians *POLYGAMY! POLYGAMY!! POLYGAMY!!!* You will all agree with me that one of the most controversial words in Christiandom today is *POLYGAMY* Are you a religious scholar? a Pastor? a Theologian? or a Born-again Christian?.......? Please, feel free to constructively contribute, castigate, correct, admonish, advice or preach........in accordance with the provisions of the Holy Bible (the Word of God) Before I go further, I will like you to have the following questions at the back of your minds. 1). Who was the first person to engage in the act of POLYGAMY? 2). Is POLYGAMY a sin? 3). Did God condemn POLYGAMY? 4). Those that engaged in POLYGAMY, are they in Hell? 5). What is the fate of the polygamous Children? 6). Is marriage a traditional act or religious act? 7). Why do Christians condemn POLYGAMY? . What are the effects of POLYGAMY in Christiandom?9). Has God changed? *GEAR 1* Lamech was the first man to marry more than one wife, Gen 4:19 *GEAR 2* Godly/Holy persons that engaged in POLYGAMY according to the Bible include: *Abdon*, Judges 12:13-14; *Abijah*, 2 Chronicles 13-21; *Abraham*, Gen 16-1-3, Gen 25:1; *Ahab*, 1 kings 20:1-3; *Ahaseurus*, Esther 1:9, *Ashur*, 1 Chronicles 4:5, *Belshazzar,* Daniel 5:2, *Ben-Hadad* (who married Ahab's wives), *Caleb,* 1 Chronicles 2:18-19, *David* (had 8wives), 1 Samuel 18:27, 25:39, 25:42, 2 Samuel 3:5, 5:13, 12:7-8, 12:24. *Eliphaz*, Gen 36:11-12. *Elkanah*, 1 Samuel 1:1-2 *Esau*, Gen 26:34 Ezra, 4:17-18; *Gideon*, Judges 8:30....and many more. We have no fewer than 40 Godly and ungodly men that engaged in POLYGAMY according to the Bible. Also, we have no less than 43 POLYGAMY cases in the Holy Bible. *GEAR 3* Has God condemned POLYGAMY? *No! God NEVER did* In all the POLYGAMY cases mentioned in the Bible, God did not condemn any except David who snatched Uriah's wife. God said to David in 2nd Samuel 12:8; *I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more."* Why did God himself say so to David? *GEAR 4* Is POLYGAMY a sin? Those that engaged in POLYGAMY are they in hell? Is Abraham in hell? (Luke 16:19-31) Is Jacob in hell? Are David, Solomon, Elkanah, Ezra.....@all, in hell? *GEAR 5* Does God permit POLYGAMY? *The answer of course is YES!* In Exodus 21:10, God said *If he (man) marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights*. In 2nd Samuel 12:8. God Himself said to David ,"...I gave you your master's house and his wives,........if you needed more, I would have given you even more" *GEAR 6* What is the fate of the polygamous children? Condemned or Favoured? Why was Joseph, Samuel, Solomon.... Highly favoured? *GEAR 7*. Before religion there was marriage. Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:18-25 The issue of Monogamy was purely *the tradition of the Western world who were our religious colonial masters. In the land of the White, traditionally, rivalry is a taboo*. But the Jews (Israelites) and the Edomites (the Blacks) share the same or similar traditions. A widow was not allowed to be seen on the street, but be re-married to their husband's relatives or friends, Gen 38. *GEAR 8* Why do Christians condemn POLYGAMY? The new testament completely responds seamlessly on POLYGAMY matters. The new testament talks about every aspect of Christian living except POLYGAMY. Mathew 19:3-9, Jesus spoke about God’s initial plan for man. He condemned divorce but did not condemn POLYGAMY. Paul’s admonishment to Timothy on how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of the Levites of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, *IF* there were no men with more than one wife in the Church, Paul wouldn't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39. *GEAR 9* Effects of POLYGAMY: POLYGAMY has it merits and demerits in the society and Christiandom at large. 1). In the Society, the Maternal Mortality rate is higher in the female folks compared to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men death rate is higher than that of women. The number of widows keep increasing geometrically adding up the number of single women in the society. This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, and formication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic nowadays to see our single girls fighting with widows for the ownership of a guy. 2). Religiously, the so-called MONOGAMY has caused more harm than good in Christian-dom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imagine if they were practicing family planning and monogamy. *NIGERIA* IBB introduced family planning in Nigeria with a maximum of 3 children to a couple and, was widely embraced mostly by Christians. That is 3 children to a couple. b.) Very soon Our children, particularly daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves because monogamy will deny them an opportunity to marry. C.) There are millions of stranded women in the South and, may not likely get husbands forever, because of the arguments against polygamy. Whereas hardly can a woman be stranded in the North. Thanks to the practice of polygamy there. GEAR 10 Has God Changed? God of Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, .....the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega, He is the same yesterday, today and forever...has not changed. CONCLUSION What is the way out? Christians don't be "Paul when he was Saul" Pastors, be careful what you preach on pulpits about POLYGAMY. Instead of becoming light, rather, it is destroying Christianity Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the laws of your God, I also will ignore your children. *HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR* Forwarded as received, *I need not be crucified as a religious bigot*. |
In Nigerian universiries, the letter "C" in VC stands for "corruption" If you know you know. |
Just saw on Twitter where Senator Ben Bruce was paying tribute to Senator Buruji Kashamu. Is it true that Senator Buruji Kashamu has lost battle to Covid-19?

oblaak:If you're leaving, please be sure of where you're going. Some people left earlier, but are now asking the same irresponsible government to help bring them back to the 'zoo' |
Op, this thread is not about Tondo Dike. So don't expert it to just grace front page like that. Thanks for the info |
Hmmm. Despite the lockdown, we're still having this scary result. At this rate, I'm certain it's Nigerians that will beg to be locked down after one week of eased movement. Just like the Americans, we are our own problem. We kept on moving around during the lockdown, giving different excuses as well as different conspiracy theories because we don't trust our government. May God safe us from us. |
Kealmin:What's the feedback you're getting? |
OneNaijaMan:Thank you sir |
OneNaijaMan:What can you say about pricing? I'm asking this question because there was a time I lower my price to entice customers, only to discover during chats that some are willing to pay even more. |
OneNaijaMan:Thanks a bunch |
OneNaijaMan:Thank you for taking out time to drop these words of encouragement. I'm already making one or two moves and results are beginning to manifest. Of course, we can't give up. |
etebefia:Hmmmm. I have not made a dime from Fiverr this year. I think Fiverr sales have slowed down drastically for most people. Hence, the silence on this thread recently. |
FLwriter:You're not alone. I can't really explain what's gone wrong with Fiverr. I think it is going the way of freelancer.com lately. |
crowniran:Use First Bank, Access or FCMB. I usually don't have the time to calculate rate. For every 20k withdrawn, you will be charged $60 dot something. There is a flat charge of $3.15 on every transaction, so the lesser the amount you withdrew, the higher your rate would seem. |
lajid:It depends on the career path she wish to pursue. If she will like to go in the way of human resources, she can enrol with IPM (Institute of Personnel Management) or she can pursue a career in ICT (this path is wide with a myriad of options and opportunities). Someone up there mentioned the case of a friend that put-in for CISCO and has been doing well since graduation. The secret is to kick-start the professional journey while you're still in school. By the time you graduate, you would have covered much ground with sufficient confidence that will separate you from the pack. The good thing is with some of these professional programmes, you can start earning money on your own on some freelancing platforms while still in school. |
Denimadz:Thank you. Mass communications is not anything better than Sociology. It all depends on your sister. Sociologists are social engineers. They quest for social reformation. Truth be told, it can be difficult for a sociologist, who doesn't know the why and what to succeed with the course. Such a person will only lament all his life, complaining about nothing. I'm a sociologist myself. And my course mates and I have accomplished a lot of great things you would see with those people with supposedly great courses. The secret is to start early. If you have the resources, invest in professional courses, especially IT-inclined. Just open your mind, face your study and pray too. Remember, unemployment is a social phenomenon, and it has nothing to do with studying sociology or some seemingly fantastic courses. Of course, there are thousands of law and engineering graduates out there trying hard to make ends meet. |
gidgiddy:The is no argument that the entity called Nigeria is a product of forced marriage. We all agreed there are lots of issues to contend with. We are only saying on a day like this, we should try look on bright sides, whether they are local achievements or not. |
candidtalk:Yes, men's good deeds are written on water, they make little ripples and quickly fade away. The bad deeds are written on brass, so no one forgets. |
There is no doubt that if we focus on the realities of everyday life in Nigeria, it will be difficult for us to find any reasons to celebrate our independence as a people. But, may be we're dwelling too much on the dark sides. How about reading the below excerpt from a Nigerian on Quora - Prince Onos. Reading these few highlights about some of our uniqueness and achievements as people and as country may help you look on the bright side. And you may eventually want to celebrate. God help Nigerians to help Nigeria! Now read on to learn the unedited perspectives of Prince Onos' on why we should celebrate as Nigerians. What are the top 10 blowing facts about Nigeria? Hehe I was actually waiting for this question, so I could show the world how much Nigeria means to them. Let's Ride……. "A Russian saw me in my office and said where are you from , i said am from the greatest country in the world. He looked at me with a very strange look and said let me guess u are from Nigeria , I said yes. Out of curiosity he said considering whats happening in your country now why would you say shes the best in the world and I asked him to sit down and let me tell him what he and most people dont not know about Great Nigeria and I told him these; Are you aware that all over the world Nigerians are setting the pace and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves? Do you know? 1. In the US, Nigerians are the most educated immigrant community. Type it into Google and you’ll see it. Not one of the most educated, the most educated. 2. 60% of Nigerians in the US have college degrees. This is far above the American national average of 30%. 3. Nigerians in US are one of the highest earners, typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k. 4. In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, Nigerians routinely outperform their peers from other nations. 5. A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family, have officially been named the smartest family in the UK. 6. The designer of the famous car, Chevrolet Volt, Jelani Aliyu, is a supertalented Nigerian from Sokoto State. 7. The World’s fastest supercomputer was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist, Philip Emeagwali, a full-blown Nigerian whose patency was awarded in 2015. This means Nigeria has the patency to the world’s fastest computer: a Nigerian. 8. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are Nigerians, Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind. 9. South Africa couldn’t have ended apartheid & achieved Black rule if not for the leadership role Nigeria played. 10. Of the 3 South African Presidents who ruled after apartheid, two of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (60s) and Thabo Mbeki (70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa. We gave financial support, human support, boycotted an Olympics and our politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly. OK… I have gotten to 10, but I just would not stop till I get you convince Nigeria is king worldwide. 11. Nigeria spent over $3 Billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone which the world ignored because they have no oil. 12. When there was a coup in São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003, Nigeria restored the elected President back to power. 13. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil. 14. 500 years ago, Benin casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida Mask. 15. Amina was a warrior queen who ruled Zaria Emirate in Kaduna state, Northwestern Nigeria 400 years ago in 1610. Google and see what she means to Africa. 16. We gave monetary gifts to Ireland during our oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don’t be lied to. 17. The first television station in Africa was NTA Ibadan (1960) long before Ireland has their RTE station...Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past. If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media, you’ll not get the full & true picture of your Nigerian heritage...We’re not a nation of scammers, drugs & corruption, but a people with a verifiable track record of greatness... Here is what CNN, BBC, Aljezeera and western media will not tell you about Nigerians: 18. On the 7th of May, 2016 at Howard University in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were Nigerians and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians. The entire world still envies our uniqueness as a NATION, living together despite our ethnic diversity. One single country with over 400 languages. They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas. If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you. 19. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only about 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media. Listen Nigeria, don't let anybody woo you into believing that you are a criminal just because you are a Nigerian. Nigerians are NOT criminals. You are NOT a criminal. You are topnotch; second to none around the world. I am proud am created a Nigerian, thank you God. Be proud of Nigeria wherever you go. Take out your Passport with pride. He couldnt talk and just walked away. Am proud to be a Nigerian and be from that country.... God bless Federal Republic Of Great Nigeria...” |
elonna5:You are not me, so don't tell me what I should have done. I have discussed with her, she understands my fear and she did not make any issue out of it. So why I you fighting a fight that is not yours? I didn't call her a scammer, I didn't ask her to pay me. Why did you suddenly become an advocate of something you were not a part of. I don't have problem with her and she doesn't have issue with me. Let's rest the case please. |
elonna5:I don't even know it's a she. I was the one who asked her when I'm I getting paid after delivery, and she said once the order is marked. I have no problem about that. Since you're still communicating with her, you can ask her if I ever demand that she pay me for the work. I know already that I did not wait to complete the cycle. I believe you're the one who called her attention to my "epistle" here on NL. She already contacted me and I told her I've lost my enthusiasm writing for her after seeing the argument on NL. It wouldn't have been so if those requirements have been made known from the onset. The client was bringing up new demands after fulfilling previous ones. So, if you're in my shoe, working for her for the first time and you're reading all that about her, will you have the energy to keep writing, wasting time and resources? |
routsz:I'm happy you confirmed the fact that I never called him a scammer. In life, you use your instinct when dealing with certain people. I can write unlimited revision for a client, especially one that have genuine requests, and his or her character has not been called to question. There is what they called writer's famine, and it can hit anyone even on the so called freelance marketplaces. I started my writing career here on NL and i have met great minds that inspired me and help hone writing skills. I don't want to argue back and forth on this. I have said it that it could be a genuine feedback from his client. It happens. But, with what have read about him from Olawrites, especially where he said that there are others complaining about him as well (though I haven't seen any other person), it's natural for me to lose the appetite to write for him. I put lots of resources, including time into writing. I have rendered free services to people. That's a deliberate decision, not someone playing on my intelligence. |
I will like to add little to this drama between Olawrites and the guy. While Olawrites was complaining about the guy, I was already writing for him under the Monica, Flambo02. I have done the first draft already and a revision. Note: I've not yet reached a conclusion on whether he is scammer, but his attitude looks suspicious. First, he asked me to write 5 articles of 800 words each, but with minimal instructions. I told him immediately that the requirements are too minimal. Just the a keyword for each post. I asked if I should create any topic based on the keywords provided. He responded in the affirmative. A day or 2 after submitting the 5 articles, he sent me a screenshot supposedly coming from the client stating that the articles are generally okay, but i should try to incorporate some 3 new keywords (he just provided) to make the content more engaging. He also asked that I should also add some examples of the subject matter. Of course, these are normal requests. So, I got back to work to fix the content. I did as request and submitted the revised version. It was after submitting the editted version i saw Olawrites post on NL. Immediately, compared the phone number. I discovered I'm writing for the same person under a different Monica. I quickly ran to WhatsApp, then I saw my guy updating his status saying he is about changing his phone number. I sent him a message immediately asking why is he changing his phone number, that he should leave the new one in case so we can communicate. He agreed Then, 2 days later (today) my guy came up with another another screenshot from the client. This time, he was making a list of complains about: how the texts were tool long for his kinds of fans, and how the content are not engaging enough. He also introduced another keyword. Immediately I saw that, I just add 2+2. I've entered one-chance. You don't need multiple Monicas as a professional writer who wants to engage other writers. I told him I can't be going back and forth on such a simple project. I don't work for writers on NL anymore. It's because i need money urgently for the salah festival that made me to fall into his trap. For me, I don't feel pained. I know the risk is always there when you write for someone without the protection of escrow. I don't know why Olawrites doesn't want to upload the controversial content. But, if he decides to do the same with me, I will upload the original content and our WhatsApp conversations, including his strange whatsapp DP. I don't want to call him a scammer yet because some buyers can be irrational at times. But when too many people are complaining same thing about you, I think something is wrong about you. Flambo02 (or whatever other monica you use) try amend your ways, you can't win forever on a wrong path. That's my 10kobo. |
luckygeee:Please, check again. You will discover that I'm not the one who placed the ad. |
Flambo02:I'm available. What's the nature of the job? |
Grupo:For this level of withdrawal, you have the option of direct withdrawal to your local bank on Payoneer. |
awoofawoo:Exactly my thoughts. Meanwhile, ATM transaction gives rest of mind than that of exchangers. |
SoNature:Thank you for the details. Concerning the withdrawal options, I believe every man to his own. I still prefer the ATM transactions to the so called trusted exchangers. Access Bank and First Bank rates are slightly lower compared to that of GTBank, Zenith, and Co. |
versashee:Thank you guy! |
. What are the effects of POLYGAMY in Christiandom?
