Yesterday 22nd October 2017, Tecno Mobile unvield it's latest device called the Phantom 8 in Dubai. The Phantom 8 is the successor of the widely loved Phantom 6.

Tecno Mobile is keeping to it's word of holding down the number 1 spot in the Middle East and African market, which to me is a good strategy.

The Detectives attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Lagos Command, have arrested one Raphael Ndukwe as the killer of Reverend Father Cyriacus Onunkwo, a Catholic priest serving in Imo State.

The suspect, identified as Raphael Ndukwe, was tracked down to his hideout in the Ajangbadi area of Ojo, based on a tip-off.

Fr. Onunkwo was kidnapped in Imo State by gunmen on Friday, September 1, 2017 from his car and taken to Omumma, where his body was found the next day.

He was returning home to organise the funeral of his late father when he was abducted. Ndukwe is the leader of a kidnapping gang that had been terrorising Imo State for many months.

He escaped to Lagos after four of his members were arrested in the state. Ndukwe’s gang was also allegedly responsible for the kidnap of one Gloria Emordi who was said to have visited Imo State for a burial ceremony on April 22, 2017.

On arrival in Lagos, the suspect, nicknamed Tiger, settled down with some of his friends who operate as thugs at the Alaba International Market, Ojo, but later fled to Ajangbadi, when the heat on him became hot.

But the police in Lagos finally tracked down the 29-year-old suspect and arrested him on September 10, 2017. Soon after his arrest, he confessed to some of the crimes he committed both in Lagos and the South-East.

The told the police that this was not the first time he would be escaping to Lagos after engaging in a criminal operation.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy says he’s learning how to speak Pidgin English as fluently as the Nigerian players in his team. Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Ahmed Musa are the Nigerian players in Leicester City.

Vardy told TheCable that his only challenge with the Nigerian trio is their Pidgin English which he says is difficult to understand. “The Nigerian players keep talking- pidgin English you call it, right? It’s hard to understand. But I am trying to learn it and speak it like they do. They are great players."

A lady named Emilia ohwovoriole took to her Instagram page to accuse Redeem Christian Church Of God (RCCG) of refusing to return 24.4million Naira proceeds of fraud by one of its member who defrauded her. According to her, a member of RCCG defrauded her of 100 million naira and all attempts to get the money back from the Church was impossible.

She said all letters sent to the church by the Nigerian Police was not replied either. She also revealed that a victim has committed Suicide because of the issue on ground.

Investigation shows that 24.4 million Naira was paid into an RCCG account by the suspect the same week he defrauded her. See her post below.

Some suspected kidnappers were arrested by the Nigerian Police along Suleja-Lambata-Minna, Niger State. They were paraded in Gawu-Babangiga yesterday. The suspects were arrested with loads of valuable items stolen from their victims. Some locally made guns, charms, camouflage and other items were found in their possession.
