As we are all aware, things are very unpleasant in the country right now. Almost every sector is facing its challenge(s).

It's 2022, a year before the general elections and as bad as it may sound, money will be "provokingly" embezzled from this year by those vying for electoral positions.

I have created this thread for people who are currently out of a job or are looking to add to what they currently earn so as to leverage their current expenditures.

Below are some PASSIVE INCOME ideas I feel we can use to "hold ourselves" together this year.

Please FEEL FREE to add any other idea or passive income stream you might have in the comments.

1. Uber/Bolt/Ride Sharing:
Instead of always driving home all by yourself, for someone who closes work relatively early, why not register as an Uber/Bolt driver? Let's say you close work by 4pm, from your workplace, turn on your app and do some rides around your workplace to your house.. if you feel you can cover some other distances/destinations, do that as well. The income you get from this can be used to sort out your fuel bills which will eliminate that from your main salary.

If you are part of the people who do not buy the idea of using Uber/Bolt, you can always ride-share on your way home.

What this means is carrying people who are going along your way for a fee.

For example, you live at Ikorodu and work at Anthony, instead of driving all alone, you can always get people along that road who are going to Ikorodu, get 2-3 people and they'll pay. Do this twice daily (when you're going to work and returning) and you've covered your fuel bill for that day.

The risk with this is you always do not know who you're carrying and what they're capable of. Unlike Uber/Bolt that has a database of their customers, you do not have such so the risk is higher.
