Reality: Awolowo refused food corridor to the Biafrans for two reasons
a) It was realised that Ojukwu was using that as a ploy to get weapons into the country, under the guise of food and relief materials, to keep prosecuting a war in which his people were mostly the casualty.
b) Most of the food and relief sent to the East to alleviate their sufferings were hijacked and cornered by Ojukwu, his family and the Biafra soldiers.

It is on record that Awolowo was shocked when he saw the starving children and he asked about what had happened to the food sent to the East. It was then he decided to close the food and relief corridor. Google pictures of the war and check out if Ojukwu or any of his family members or the soldiers were looking gaunt and hungry. You sure know how to use Google right?
