chinybabe , we need more people like you. Thank God for NAIRALAND. |
I like the advice on IT; that'll definately keep me more than busy!!!!! I think I'll consider the Info Tech firms; less pay, but more meaningful career experience. THANKS for the advice However I decided to go into Private Home Tutoring (in Maths and Further Maths) for now!!!!; and then pursue training in lieu of CCNA certification. Now I'm thankning God for this extra-time!!! DANIEL 2; I didn't get what you meant ?? It sounds like you're flirting eh? I'm up to it, believe me!!!! |
Emmeno you call it a jackpot ,, eh!? I don't know about that!!! |
I don't know about most of you. |
Well my paper qualifications are: *Bachelor's degree in Engineering(Electronics},UNN {2;1}; *SSCE (WAEC) {Mathematics-A1} EXPERIENCE: I have had four years experience in private home tutoring of Secondary School Mathematics/ Further Mathematics; and basic computer packages in Abuja. I'm still waiting on those proprietors |
I can't believe you have no other replies before mine. I aspire to your field too; I have a degree in Electronic Engr., but I certainly learn more practical and useful things when going through materials used for professional certification courses than I did in school. However, for some reasons degrees are more respected. So if one has a degree and a professional certification, you should be hot ripe for employers " if any". |
You know what I noticed. We all like music, singing, watching movies, dancing. Those are natural. But some people are experts , and see beyond the normal eyes with such things. Those are the people that make money from that hobby. They can envision themselves. I love all that too; but there are two things I love and also envision myself in. The first is football. I'm really skilled. Back in my days in the UK (1992), I saw myself picking up a professional football career. I was skilled and the environment conducive. Here now in Nigeria, I love tutoring Mathematics or Computer skills. I love to read. What a contrast?. I am skilled, and this environment is conducive for that!!!!! ![]() That's what I love doing; that's what I do. But like everyone else, there's doubt if that will send me to my dreams. But I ain't giving up. Not now!! |
I think MY2Cents said it all. In as much as being the boss is fun and wise; you have to consider your situation. But start 'small' when you can, and 'big' if you can and be consistent and persevere ; those have been the watch-words of many great entrepreneurs. That way , the end result should be your dream!!!!! |
Is anybody in this forum , a private secondary school proprietor, and requires the service of an excellent Mathematics/Further Mathematics teacher, or a Computer Instructor. I'm available. You may want to view: www.whiztutors.4t.com to know about me. Contact me. You won't regret it!!!!! |
Hey can we still submit Cvs if we haven't any NYSC discharge certificates .I'm already on my way there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Thanks all of you . Especially the website www.usastudyinfo.info It's too "free" to be true. It really gave me a lot of hope and encouragement immediatelt i scanned through it |
I need to know more on this issue. I know a friend in school in the US for graduate studies, and he says he didn't have to pay any fees before leaving Nigeria. Instead he depends on stipends given by his dept. as well as money he earns by working. Is this really a most feasible idea? What about the UK? Can this also work. What are the consequences, or any disadvantages, or any reasonable advice I should have. I intend to pursue a PG in either UK or the US next year. |
I am not an old boy ; but this a site for one of your members . He's now a graduate of UNN: www.ucheokpagu.4t.com |
Gre , Toefl Candidates. Let's Talk! Please, is anybody here a registered candidate for GRE or TOEFL this year, and resident in Abuja?. I need people to share ideas and resources with. We can all benefit. "Two good heads are better than one" |
What should I do. I have just graduated from university, and I have to wait for about seven months for NYSC. Even the few jobs around are out of reach without an NYSC certificate. How can I be gainfully busy? |
?? It sounds like you're flirting eh? I'm up to it, believe me!!!!
