Even Surah Al-Maedah :51 was telling the believers never to take Jews and Christians as friends. The verse even said that any believer that did that will become a Kaffir (rejectionist, unbeliever, infidel)

Some of you here on NL said we should read Qur'an with an open mind. I did. But I still never believe that any rational being can think that those words of hatred towards Jews (Yahood) and Christians are from a TRUE God who is Yahweh.

I'll advise you to aim high every semester. Aim to have all As. Then, you've to work towards achieving your targets. Mind you, what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. No course is invincible. Put aside your past glories. People may be telling you that nobody has never graduated with First Class degree in your department. But you should know that somebody had made it somewhere. Look beyond the limits and always believe you can. You must be determined, disciplined, focussed, diligent and prayerful. Remember, God factor is also there. He knows the best for you. Just be prayerful. With God on your side impossible is possible.

The embattled former speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Dimeji Sabur Bankole, and his deputy, Hon Usman Nafada, was yesterday discharged and acquited by an Abuja High Court, saying that they have no case to answer again.

Let's not be deceived with web ranking. I don't think it is genuine. NUC and other bodies should do it. Imagine, FUOYE, a new university that has not even fully started operations, was ranked above UNN, FUTMINNA, LASU, FUTO, Bowen and many others, to clinch the 8th position. This is incredible.

I think those affected remedial students should know from outset that admission nowadays is for the fittest. As an insider, I know most of them are not serious.Most of them relied too much on their status as rems. Some of them even believe that being a rem means automatic admission. They are not the only one affected. What about IJMB candidates? Most of them performed woefully too. I believe this will serve as a lesson to the newly admitted remites. Gone are the days when candidates are admitted through back doors. Every candidates must pass through JAMB.

The school authority are keeping us waiting. I don't know why it takes so much time for them to release it.

Thank you evisco for advising nairalanders on those admission touts calling people for help/ assistance all in the name of their financial gains. Some candidates had become victims of these fraudsters. Admission touts won't render any help to you but you will surrender yourself( If girls, sex for admission) or money for those fraudsters. Nairalanders strictly beware. Nothing goes for free. Only stupid Nigerian expect something for nothing.
