Tank God I've seen someone dat uses boots shampoo o. I just got and I was telling my hubby dat dis 1 dat dey put a boy wit no hair on it, hope my DD hair is safe o. Cos she has very soft n curly hair even though we cut it @ 7days (Muslim tins). I also noticed it has dat component dat onegai says dries d hair. I looked everywhere 4 baby conditioner bt I dint find and had 2 settle 4 boots cos I know its a very good brand. I also use Shea butter 2 rub her hair always. Now I can use it without fear, its just 1ce a week anyway.

pls hw much is the BOOTSconditioner

I use shea butter alone except for the few times I use anoited olive oil and I dont apply it in the morning..but most importantly I wash once in 15days and condition with egg yolk. Then I cover her head overnight with net(I use the cap used for bonding,it goes for just 50bucks.

Although, I think it migh t be herediatry cos I get comments about my hair too

Mothers that are complaining about baby lotions.
Has anyone tried BOOTS products? I use the lotion,oil,powder,shampoo,soap for my daughter.. Five months plus,no rash,no reactions.. And my baby has a lot of folds on her neck and laps..yet no rash or any skin problem at all.
Though I use shea butter for her hair, infact,people stare at her whenever we go out cos its so long and full.

@Rashomo, she already has 2 lower teeth at 6month loling. She started cutting d 1st upper tooth at 8month which has finally emerged fully at 9months. I believe its d 2nd upper tooth dat wants to cut tru now.

I jst don't like teething periods, wish it will jst b painless *smile*

When I learnt Gerber cereals are not sweet, I decided to give it a try since my baby would prefer foods with bland taste just as she does pap. So I give her the cereal without milk. And she loves it. Its the only cereal out of many I tried that she's accepted. She doesn't like sweet fruits either.

Dey ar different,May God blesss dem for us... but once am out of d house,she eat gerber n any oda food...DONT MIND HER JAARE..

Outside Nigeria, they actually teach you that it is safe to lie down and breastfeed. So maybe its the positioning that made the matron say it's wrong, not the lying down.

A 4 month shouldn't use gerber sitter but gerber supported sitter cereal. I learnt here that gerber products aren't sweet. I have one but am yet to start it for my daughter. She's taking cow and gate egg custard and rice rice pudding now and she loves it a lot. She finishes the bottle at once when spoon fed. I intend introducing cereal this week and I was advised here to start with a rice cereal. I had cow and gate rice cereal in mind but a mama told me this evening to go for cerelac rice cereal that it's fattening.
But am not sure cerelac has cereal for 4-6months. I will go shopping tomorrow for that.

U ar very ryt gerber is nt sweet at all.,cos my baby is. currently taking,.but my baby dont lyk but i stil give her cos hav tried cerelac, stil she does nt lyk it..

Nop... I think gerber is of different stage..hav just started giving my baby of seven month sitter... I suggest u get supported sitter for d baby...

I wish I had prevented earlier and at d same time I'm always at ease when he sucks(I have to confess) for example when I'm having a difficult time with both of them-crying together for no reason I know, once d boy finds his fingers in his mouth he is at peace, while I would have to carry twin girl, sing, clap, dance-and cry sef if need be.
Since I can't find any method (cos removing it all d time doesn't work-i tried it too) ill just shut my eyes till we get a remedy

mummy, let me be candid wit u,dere is nothing can do dan to make sure u always remove it from his mouth,u have to be careful of all dos tins u put on his hand in order for him not to suck..Once dey Are Addicted to it...hmm..IT IS BETTER TO PREVENT THEM THAN WANTING TO STOP IT LATER..

I cant say which is normal,only talkin frm experience..for my first n second ,dey poo atleast once in a day,after six month,wen i introduce other food to dem..it depends on body n ur baby too.. I went as far as given my two month baby little drop of orange for him to poo,wen i dont knw wat to do again..

Hello peeps, pls does lying down to breastfeed a newborn have any effect on either mother or baby. I tried dis position once but want to be sure of no side effects. Also it seems she never burps no matter the position i try, am i doing something wrong cos she vomits at times and i always feel bad. Pls help me know better

Yes..according to matron at Randle,dey said it is nt gud..dey even insulted one woman dat breastfed her new baby while lying down..it is nt gud for baby, n MIL Says it do affect deir ears..

Her fisher price rocker(3months to toddler), pram (stroller) helped a lot...then I sit her in between my laps though a baby will start sitting at the time nature considers appropriate and easy.

My baby didn't have full neck control until about three months and I was getting scared cos she had jaundice at birth,twas so serious that she had an ebt....you need to see hw happy hubby was when she started sitting..

Also remember babies develop at their time...my baby cousin crawled for about 3wks before she started walking at 8months plus but couldn't talk until she was almost two but she recognise everyone's phones, shoes and other personal items...
