Hello Mothers, pls is it too late to potty train a two years and 3months old toddler. I have tried several methods and they all seems not to be helpful. He only calls our attention to his wee n poo after pooing or weeing. What else can i do? Should I wait until he is 2 and half years old?

MY ADVICE, WENEVA HE FINISHES EATING GIVE LYK TEN MINUTE N REMOVE HIS THING AND DO SIIII LYK U AR HISING OR U TELL HIM TO WEEWEE , TRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO PUT HIM TO POTTY FIRST THING IN THE MORNING..

I will come back to introduce myself shortly but right now I'm distressed.
Gave birth almost 24hrs ago and up till this point there's not a single drop of breast milk.
I have tried pap tea hot liquids etc but nothing. Baby now refuses to latch on cos nothing comes out ndy beautiful bobo is obviously hungry. I'm
almost in tears myself.

What else can I do

congrat mama boy... try massaging wit hot water n cloth..it wil eventually cum buh encourage baby to latch on,

it is normal...for my first baby, i saw aunt flo wen he is three month exactly n for my second its at six month...so its based on ur system. ...enjoy it buh be careful.

The twins are four and half months. Will be 5 by August 4.
I introduced gerber oat cereal last week. I first mixed with breast.milk I expressed and tried to give them with spoon. Twin girl enjoys the spoon but twin boy doesn't take the spoon he will cry and spit till I pour into the bottle for him.


When I can't express, I use sma for the mix. One scoop of sma plus 5 scoops of gerber for one baby. (or times 2) They finish 150ml to 200ml at one sitting (sometimes I have to make more). But if its ordinary sma they take just 60ml.

But gerber makes their poop hard so I give them 10ml water (boiled which I store in a 2 litre gallon)
My mil made the brown pap herself and grinded soya bean with it, but they don't like it at allllllll.

They don't have a particular time for eating so I feed on demand.
And we thank God the number of diaper we use had now reduced.

Buy a conditioner instead, and stop washing it with shampoo.

Then start a deep conditioning regimen on her hair...so it can regain its moisture and shine.

@bossladymo1 , thankz... do sebamed has conditioner..hw much does it cost..

pls can i use sebamed children shampoo on my 7months old baby hair.. her hair is too dry ..

I saw my period 5 weeks after delivery and it was very heavy. I asked my doctor and he said it was normal that people differ and that's how my own system is and he said the funny thing is I may or may not see it next month and it will regulate itself.

Does anyone know what I can use to stop my 9mth old baby's hair from breaking. I don't know if it is the weather (it's currently cold and harmattan-ish where I am now), or the water. I doubt it's the water though, cos it only just started. Or could it be a change in the conditioner I use for her for now? I had to get an adult conditioner (I chose a mild one that is meant for sensitive people) to use temporarily, as I could not get the kiddies one at that time.

Or could it be as a result of weaving? The educators at her childcare centre just like playing with her hair...African hair does them gish gish lol.

Hello mamas, pls oo. Yesterday makes it 7wks i had my angel. Was having menstrual cramps and later saw scanty flow of blood, by midnight, i was having serious abdominal discomfort.
On waking up dis morning, i started stooling with blood(about 5times) and havent been able to eat all day.
Menstrual flow is now heavy.

According to my baby's pediatrician, most babies react to the newer versions of cerelac as it happened with my LO. My advice is to stop the cerelac and continue wit gerber

Hello.mamas, I know a lot of questions are yet to be answered but I will appreciate if this is answered. My baby is 15 days now and his placenta cord hasn't come off, my mum is kinda worried that it is taking too long. The doctors advice that I only clean it with cotton wool and methylated spirit but my mum is of the opinion that we should use heat compress on it. The stump looks fine, no smells, no discharge and it's shrinking but my mum thinks it's just taking too long. What else can I do, she is getting me to panic and I don't know if I should allow her use heat on his navel.

pls i will advice it fall off b4 applying heat compress, cos wit my two LO, IT was after it fall off dat moda-in-law used d heat comprezz.. Am sure its d cotton wool n spirit dT wil help it fall. Advice, once u ar a mother, u just hav to be strong for urself n d baby... congrat

pls dont massage, if it is swollen, just PLACE ICE on the swollen side NT press or rub anything.. ur baby will get ova it wit tym. MAY GOD BLESS THEM FOR US... Amin

Mamas in d house..Please Is it true that cerelac gives rashes. I started giving my baby just for two weeks n i notice rashes on her body., which has neva happened since i was given gerber.. pls i nid ur advice

I personally don't feel comfortable with giving babies any thing orally if the ingredients are not listed....because I google all the components of any medication and even ask on baby center when in doubt. We all read about what "My pikin" teeth mixture did to those poor babies.

. Both of them are good,but you may try thrive. But hope you do not add sugar to your child's cereal, please cereals do not need additional sugar, they already contain sugar

Secondly, dis' Alefo' wat can I use to clear it off completely though using palm kernel oil presently.

hi worried mummy, i will advice you to stop any product from johnson... it gives rashes, u are not d first mum to complain n i experience same too, both for my first and second.
i wil advise u get cusson or avent baby soap..

Like firstimer said,by 4months,I started putting most things I eat in my baby's mouth,even pepper. Now,she takes mostly adult foods. I have no issue feeding her @ all. Infact,she lovesssss food!
