All hail hot spuds, make una try well well this season and you may likely finish 6th on the table |
Y'all should stop rationalising and admit Faggotson made a mistake in selling Tevez,he's not taking anything too far,he only responded to an attack made by Neville. All he needs to do is draw a line between the fans(he needs them still) and those trying to downgrade him;whther coaches or ex-team mates |
He signed a year's extension, that will give him enough time to truly make up his mind and leave that slave camp called Barca |
Barca is gaffer's slave camp that sucks,to think they enslaved Pep Guardiola ImGPB p/a,damnnnnn |
At last I've seen one sincere scummie ![]() |

v3:I knew one of these would crop up,hey V loosen up a bit |
Y'all should stop all the permutation already, any country that wants to lift the trphy must be ready to dispatch the best teams in the continent,so for all I care we should have drawn a combination of Egypt,Zambia and Cameroon, the key thing we need to do is not to change the team we used against Mozambique and we will defeat any freaking team |
Obinoscopy: ![]() Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe |
I look forward to a good match and a victory as long as we maintain the same squad that beat Mozambique |
Didnt bother to watch the clip, but from the response,Ojo Maduekwe didn't dissappoint,he made a fool of himslf |
Good but not compulsory |
Injury News The names highlighted in red are the ones I really miss Kieran Gibbs January 21 Kieran Gibbs will have surgery on his foot in order to fully recover from the serious injury that he sustained in November and is expected to miss the rest of this season. Kieran suffered a depressed open fracture to his first metatarsal on his left foot during the UEFA Champions League match game against Standard Liege in November. Abou Diaby January 21 Abou sustained a calf injury during Arsenal's 4-2 win over Bolton. He is set to have a scan to assess the extend of his injury. "Diaby has a calf problem," said Wenger. "The first news is not bad but he has a scan tomorrow [Friday] and we will know more from there. "Of course, he is out for Stoke and certainly for the Villa game. There is hope he might be back for Manchester United but we don't know yet." Nicklas Bendtner January 18 Nicklas underwent hernia surgery in November and after sustaining a groin injury in training the striker is moving closer to a return to action. "Nicklas Bendtner should be available for the Villa game on January 27 too," said Wenger. "He should be back from next week onwards - Monday or Tuesday. Maybe he will not be completely ready for Stoke but, after that, he should be able to be in the squad." Aaron Ramsey January 18 Aaron Ramsey sustained a thigh injury in training ahead of Sunday's trip to Bolton. "He will be 21 days," said Wenger. Fran Merida January 18 Fran Merida sustained an ankle injury during Sunday's 2-0 win at Bolton. It is not yet known when he will be back. "Unfortunately we have lost Fran Merida," said Wenger. "He got kicked straight away when he came on [at Bolton] and his ankle was very bad today." Samir Nasri January 18 Samir Nasri picked up a hamstring injury in training before the trip to Bolton. "Nasri will be 21 days," said Wenger Jack Wilshere January 15 Jack missed Saturday's 2-2 draw with Everton and the trip to Bolton due to a hamstring problem but the midfielder isn't expected to be out for long. "Jack Wilshere is out with a small hamstring problem," said Arsène Wenger before the 2-0 win at Bolton. "We do not think it is a very big [problem]." Johan Djourou January 15 Johan suffered a knee injury while on international duty in August and faces a lengthy lay-off. “Johan is [out for] six to eight months,” Wenger said on November 9. “He had big surgery, and it is a big blow for him and the Club. He will have to be patient this season.” Robin Van Persie January 15 The striker was injured during Holland's friendly against Italy in November and, after an initial diagnosis suggested he would be out for six weeks, it was discovered that the 26-year-old would need to undergo surgery. During a webchat with Arsenal.com the manager revealed that though the surgery went well, Van Persie will miss the majority of the rest of this season. "If you are very positive you would say [he'll be back in] April," said the Frenchman. "If you're a bit cautious you say May. It is virtually the rest of the season." |

Diaby and Sagna to miss Cup clash at Stoke Arsène Wenger may ring the changes for the FA Cup Fourth Round tie at Stoke City on Sunday. Speaking to TV Online on Thursday, the Arsenal manager was only able to confirm that Abou Diaby would be out with the short-term calf injury he picked against Bolton the previous night and Bacary Sagna will be rested because of a shoulder problem. However, the manager will assess a number of players in the build-up to the game at the Britannia Stadium and said he would “make use of his squad”. With a crucial run of games coming up in the Premier League, the new leaders may feel a need to protect their key players. “Diaby has a calf problem,” said Wenger. “The first news is not bad but he has a scan tomorrow [Friday] and we will know more from there. “Of course, he is out for Stoke and certainly for the Villa game. There is hope he might be back for Manchester United but we don’t know yet. “From last night no [we lost no-one else]. But some have played on the fringe like Bacary Sagna, who has a bad shoulder. He will absolutely need to be rested. I will assess the situation on Friday and Saturday. But we will certainly make use of the squad.” [img][/img]

Gibbs to miss rest of the season Kieran Gibbs will have surgery on his foot in order to fully recover from the serious injury that he sustained in November. Kieran suffered a depressed open fracture to his first metatarsal on his left foot, after a tackle with Eliaquim Manga during the UEFA Champions League match game against Standard Liege. The fracture has failed to heal satisfactorily and to ensure a complete recovery, Kieran will undergo an operation in London on Friday. He will have a bone graft to stimulate the healing process and give him the best chance of a full recovery. It is expected that Kieran's rehabilitation will take approximately five months. Speaking exclusively to The Official Arsenal Magazine, which is available from Thursday morning, Kieran said: "Needless to say I'm gutted - there's just no other word. The other option than surgery would have been to wait and let the bone grow in my foot, but we didn't want to do that because I'd have to wait another six weeks just to have another scan. I'd run the risk of it carrying on into next season, and we don't want to do that." Gibbs added: "I'm now just looking to recover from the injury, work really hard and be ready for next season." Everyone at Arsenal wishes Kieran a speedy recovery and looks forward to him being back on the pitch soon.[img][/img]

Rosicky - We have strength to do big things Tomas Rosicky believes Arsenal's four-goal comeback against Bolton shows the team has the mental strength required to "achieve something big" this season. The Gunners trailed Owen Coyle's side 2-0 at Emirates Stadium before turning the game on its head to defeat Wanderers 4-2 on Wednesday night. Rosicky scored Arsenal's first goal of the match, striking shortly before half time to claw Arsène Wenger's side back into the game. Speaking exclusively to TV Online after the match the Czech midfielder said that the manner of the victory proves the Gunners have what it takes to end the season on a high. "It shows that this team is very strong and we have mental strength and that is great," he said. "If we can turn games like this it shows that this team can achieve something big." The result sent Arsenal to the top of the Premier League on goals scored, but Rosicky believes that counts for very little at the moment. "Right now I would say [it means] nothing," he said. "But everybody can see we are contenders. It is nice to be on top but there is a very long way to go." [img][/img] http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/rosicky-the-comeback-showed-our-strength

Who is still arguing about which country we're meeting in the 1/4 finals |
dayokanu:That's a rhetorical question Well for one,the amount of time you spend on the Arsenal thread shows how important it is to you in your therapy for boredom |
I learnt OBJ actually wnated to say all the above in a meeting of the BOT of the PDP(don't you love the criminal rhyme??)but was shouted down, hence he decided to say it in public;FOR FULL EFFECT I'm so loving this Let that collossal dissappointment of the youths called Dimeji Bankole be busy sending people to go and greet Yar Adua in Saudi Arabia, the rofo rofo hurricane that will flush Yara Dear from office is gathering momentum |
Fhemmmy:Whoa dude, I watched the full briefing,he said "he knew Yar Adua had kidney proble for which he underwent transplant, but the issue of dialysis did not arise then and that if dialysis is coming up now,it only means one thing;that the kidney transplant has failed" “So for people(like you Fhemmy ) to say that I, Olusegun Obasanjo, deliberately picked somebody who is an invalid, I think it is the height of insult. How can I put so much into this country both in peace and in war and then think of giving this country to somebody who will run it down” . How can I? Even if you don’t have the fear of God you will not think that wayhe then went ahead to say;But wait, if you take up an appointment, a job, elected, appointed, whatever it is and then your health starts saying, ‘I will not be able to deliver’, to satisfy yourself and the people that you are supposed to serve, then there is the path of honour and the path of morality. And if you don’t know that, then you don’t know anything.” |
