Worked in three places for a total of 3 and a half years(never really believed in working for anybody)before setting up me own outfit,I love my first two bosses because they were strict, the first one was stricter and more financially disciplined,I still have fond memories of the one year I worked for him. Can't say any of them was bad, even inthe last place I worked;a multinational outfit,I had no bad bosses |
Always love to see Federer lose, even if not too often, the painful thing this time around is that he refused to cry like a girl as he is wont to do ![]() |

chic2pimp:Yes,I agree he needs like ten more years before he can win a GS and fifteen more years before he can be numero uno |

~Sauron~:Nope,a civilised Ade,not the face-stamping,eye-targeting one |
Now that we're agreed, seemingly,I must say that I really don't care too much how he chooses to celebrate,he could have slid in front of Arsene or run out of the stadium for all I care, but the stamp on Van Persie was despicable and no matter how hard you guys try to defend him here,he is human, they were once team-mates and I'm sure one day, when all the hyped brouhaha has died down a bit and he's more sober,he'll realise that he shouldn't have treated a friend that way;no matter what |
~Sauron~:I take your outburst to mean that you're prepared to sieve the probably from the rest of the sentence,so you now see that whether or not I include probably in my sentence,it could never conceal the larger meaning in a statement as glaring as the one in say"Sharon knows that he's probably very stupid" just as the larger meaning in the sentence "He probably knows he's done a bit wrong" could never be concealed by the injection of the adverb;probably BTW in the context that Debo wrote, knowing Keane's antecedents, this statement coming from him is actually a grave indictment of Adebayor |
debosky: ![]() Thanks bro for reminding him |
~Sauron~:I never disputed that, but it's still not yet uhuru for any team |
~Sauron~:So if I said Sauron knows that he's probably very stupid,I guess probably being the operative word will negate the holistic meaning of the sentence |
~Sauron~:Your headliner is misleading, good enough you posted the body so WE COULD SEE TRULY WHAT MR KEANE SAID |
~Sauron~:Just like he was once loved at The Arsenal, like Proudly9ja said, let's wait till they start losing or drawing games. And please y'all should stop talking as if man city has won the league already |
davidylan:I disagree with you on this one because we had no right to hold him back for another season when another team had offered him wages about twice what he was earning at Arsenal and the player who is known to always talk of preparation for retirement obviously had his heart and soul at the Eastlands even while his body was still at the Emirates davidylan:Again I disagree with you,his stature could give us a presence in attack, especially aerial presence, but that's all there'd be to it.May I ask you the purpose of competing in any league or cup competition??,we know it's to win,all the while that Adebayor was with us,his presence and goals WHAT DID WE WIN? NADA |

[img][/img] [b]DUDU'S WRONGFUL SUSPENSION LIFTED (ENCORE)[/b] On Monday evening, UEFA made the following announcement: “The UEFA Appeals Body today accepted the appeal lodged by Arsenal FC against the two-match suspension handed to striker Eduardo. “Following examination of all the evidence, notably the declarations of both the referee and the referees' assessor, as well as the various video footage, it was not established to the panel's satisfaction that the referee had been deceived in taking his decision on the penalty. “Therefore, the decision of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body of 1 September, in which the player was suspended for two UEFA club competition matches, is annulled.” Arsenal Football Club then released the following statement: “We are grateful that the Appeals Body focused on the evidence and made the right decision in this case. We were able to show that there was contact between the goalkeeper and Eduardo and that the decision of the UEFA Disciplinary body should be annulled. “We fully support the drive for fair play in football and believe it is important that UEFA provide clear and comprehensive standards that will be consistently enforced going forward. “We are glad to put this incident behind us and concentrate on the games ahead.” |

KANO PILLARS REACH LAST FOUR Kano Pillars became the second Nigerian Club to reach the last four of the Orange/CAF Champions League after beating Zesco United 3-2 in a group ‘A’ clash on Sunday. The win by the continental debutants settled the dust in the group as Sudanese giants Al-Hilal claimed the other Group’s other semi-final spot. Pillars, ousters of holders Al-Ahly of Egypt maintained hundred percent home record to complete a Nigerian double at the last four after Heartland eased through twenty-four hours earlier from Group B. This is the first time in the history of the Orange/CAF Champions League that two clubs from Africa’s most populous country has reached the last four. Paradoxically, it was Zesco United that stunned the packed crowd at the Sani Abacha Stadium in the Northern Nigerian city of Kano with the opener after two minutes through striker George Phiri. Goal merchant Victor Namo drew parity for the hosts sixty seconds on before Phiri restored the lead of the visitors six minutes to half time. With defeat staring at them, Pillars resumed the strongly and their efforts yielded dividends on 55 minutes when Namo brought the scores to par on 55 minutes before Bello Kofarmata snatched the winner four minutes from time. Pillars have 10 points, same as leaders Al-Hilal, but the latter have superior goal difference. Not even the outcome of the final fixture can have an influence on the standings as Zesco United have points with Sudanese side, Al-Merrikh at the depth with two points. http://www.cafonline.com/competition/champions-league_2009/news/3384-kano-pillars-reach-last-four.html |

Anything less than a 9-match ban for Ade will be as good as a slap on the wrist |
This topic is a waste of bandwidth, why is it even on the homepage ![]() |
On the other hand,it's such a double shame the ban will commence before the Manchester derby,I'd have loved to see how the scumtwats would have reacted after Adebayor might have stepped on Rooney on the one hand and the fact that the golden boy of the old trafford faithfuls;Carlos Tevez will be missing in action.I'd really looked forward to what would've been a crunchy game BTW,I hope the original scums,Manure will carry the day as citeh is just a small club with a small mentality,I love Alex |
[img][/img] Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor set for ban after provocative tussle with Arsenal Half brilliant, half senseless. Emmanuel Adebayor will have ample time to ponder the destructive side of his personality when he watches the Manchester derby from the Old Trafford stands on Sunday. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/mancity/6184122/Manchester-Citys-Emmanuel-Adebayor-set-for-ban-after-provocative-tussle-with-Arsenal.html PS make that totally senseless
