Genbuhari3:
this is not United States, agreed. we want to make it better than the united states! if the pressure we put on the cabal and the national assembly to make goodluck acting president becomes a constant in our national life, then any issue that touch the life of the people will scale through.

the question for you, is the removal of immunity right or wrong? leave the messenger, deal with the message!

Rasputinn dundee,

the response above is not for you! you dont deserve one, pls
Now I see you're either an ignoramus or a half baked literate at best
What do you mean by leave the messenger and deal with the messagehuhwhat do you know about the immunity clause. It's purely suicidal to canvass for a blanket removal of the immunity clause as governors and all other public officials will no longer have time for their job but will rather be in and out of the courts day in,day out.
What we should call for is an amendment of the immunity clause to only cover protection from civil suit, while protection from criminal suits that pertain to murder, embezzlement of funds etc should be discarded

BTW;Begging the question has never been the solution to any problem,so be objective and admit that your lord goofed

Stop insulting Obama by mentioning his name on a Buhari thread

BTW,did you not observe that even the majority membership enjoyed by the democrats in the lower house,Obama found it REALLY difficult to have that bill passed

Massive gaffe
This is the reason we dont need this political illiterate anywhere near the precincts of a governors lodge, not to talk of,,,,,
He's still incurably dictatorial and deluded. How does he figure to do that in federal houses that are bound to be controlled by the opposition even if we decided to toy with the remote possibility of him winning the presidential polls and becoming president from Aprilhuh?

well at least you guys are talking. I feel he is not telling the whole truth but I think you should keep talking. He might be confused and maybe he thinks fessing up will make you think of him as less than a man. If you love him then work on it. It will get better.
Obviously from all the comparisons with her dad,the husband may be unsure of his ego.@ OP has to let her husband know; in words and actions that her hubby is the most important and most valuable man in her life and that she'd stand by him always. She MUST tell him that she'd never compare him with her dad anylonger, and that anytime he has anything on his mind,he should feel free to share same with her and that she wont think any less of him. This is the ONLY thing that will heal the man's bruised ego and enable him to truly stop seeking for listening ears outside and truly see his wife as his confidant and worthy ally

thanks to all for the advice.

@mutter
u have it all wrong. i went looking because i lost confidence in him, i do not expect him to turn against his family. but i have a strong family man in my dad, i just felt he did not handle the situation as my dad would. my dad is the best father and husband i know. not the typical skirt chasing naija husband. so my fault here is that i compare his reactions to things with my dad. my husband is aware of this fault.
MS 101:NEVER EVER compare your husband with ANY MAN,worst of all your father
Are you nutshuhGirl you need to do a lot of soul searching, from what you wrote, your husband may be surpressing so much negative feeling arising from those comparisons, could this be part of the reason he sought for another listening ear to confide inhuh undecided since the one he's supposed to have is the same one driving him nuts with nerve wracking and friction inducing comparisons with your dad undecided undecided.

BTW:MS stands for Male Psychology

In answer to your question - Hired Househelps/nannies NO
Hired Staff - Yes
That settles that

chaircover:
You mentioned the word ungrateful in one of your posts and I am telling you the reason why you judge them as being ungrateful is because it could be that you look at what you are doing as a favour to them and therefore expect some type of "thanks" from them.
I have a better plan;strictly professional now. They do their job and get their pay,no more holidays for them(except the one they'd make home to their folks),it's only the gifts/presents that we wontCAN'T withold,my wife and I are hooked on giving

chaircover:
what I am saying is this; if you can afford it, do the best you can regardless of whether they are appreciative or not. You are sowing a seed.
Sowing a seed eh grin grin huh huh, pastor chaircover please stop sounding like a scammist
Anyways,I'm the one that is in the best position to determine what constitues my best as per your post above

Fine boy with divine destiny, unfortunately for your opponents, detractors and whiners on nairaland;THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT;you are ordained by God,this is your time,so stay focussed on delivering stable power supply, improved internal security and deal a heavy blow on corruption amongst others.I know you'd tackle all head on once you get our mandate come April, this is why WE WILL VOTE YOU IN AS PRESIDENT COME APRIL

Give him all the qualities of a good leader, he has no plans/intentions to tackle or stop CORRUPTION. He has been in power for 4 years now and the rate of corruption is increasing every day. We need a leader who is bold and courageous to stop CORRUPT PRACTICES. Yes, it can not only be reduced, but stop. It is very possible when we have determined and serious minded leader. It is no longer issue of voting for a party as it used to be again, but the candidate in question.
Blatant lies like the ones above are the part of the reason corruption actually thrives in any society and not the limited time and political expediency we have now.

IMO,GEJ is tackling corruption,go and check with the EFCC,all the oil racketeers will seriously disagree with you,IBB and Dambazzau and other ex military top brass milking the MOD/FG dry would slap the taste out of your mouth in disagreeing with you also, that the man is not mouthing off doesn't mean he isn't fighting corruption,he's tackling kidnapping and power generation and distribution, don't forget fairly stabilised fuel distribution.

There's a thread here on nairaland where a certain girl said this was what actually happened to her.The wifey of certain man, lesbianised her first, she liked the act,so repeatedly went to the woman's house verytime the man left for work, however in this case,it was the wifey that invited her husband to join them in the act shocked shocked shocked, and the man couldn't even reject the satanic offer. What has happened to mankind cry cry cry

-Talk to your relatives about your problems . . .
What good would that do than to polarise the family, make them percieve the husband with odium.Remember,it's the verbal abuse she said she got from her in-laws that triggered all these,so what if they settle ALL issues bothering her and the hubby becomes her dearest once again, she'd now live to regret ever telling third parties
