By the time the real truth behind this Boko Haram drama will be finally revealed, no soul in Nigeria will ever wish Buhari and his APC well in life for playing on the Mumu minds of unwary Nigerian youths who refused to make good use of their grey matters on sensitive issues that can easily be reasoned out. Connect the dots, cross the T and dot the I in this whole drama you will understand that Boko Haram is an extension of Ministry of Interior to intimidate and threaten while doing the bidding of the man at the Aso Rock with his cabals.

Atiku Reacts After Bill Gates Criticised Buhari’s Economic Policy

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has lauded Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, for sincerely criticising the Economic and Recovery Growth Plan (ERGP) of the Muhammadu Buhari government.

At the National Economic Council on Investment in Human Capital that held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Mr Gates had said the ERGP being implemented by the Federal Government “don’t fully reflect people’s needs”.

The American billiinaire dressed down the government’s economic recovery plan for merely prioritising “physical capital over human capital” development.

Gates, who is the Co-Chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, said the country cannot expect to make progress when the government focuses attention on physical projects while leaving out human capital developments such as health and education.

Reacting, Atiku commended the billionaire for his continued interest and support for the country’s development.

The former Vice President tweeted, ” I applaud Bill Gates for his interest and support of Nigeria. I share his concerns of the challenges we face and believe as he does they can be overcome when we as a nation consciously make requisite investments in our human capital and infrastructure.”

As a business man with international reach and repute even owning a home he's just sold in the State's, why can't he hop on a flight to US to buttress his presidential credentials?
Calm down we are taking it one piece at a time, he will be visiting the UK next month to deliver a speech at the Chatham House and from there US is next. Bookmark this post for reference my brother.

But Mr. Abubakar, who is expected to run for president in 2019, said in an interview published by The Boss newspaper that he had actually made attempt to visit the U.S. but was denied on administrative grounds.

“I applied, but wasn’t issued a visa. However, they did not decline me categorically either. They’ve only said my application is going through administrative process,” Mr. Abubakar told the paper published by Dele Momodu.

An excerpted part of a recent presentation by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to the Nigerian Senate Ad Hoc Committee on the Probe of the PTDF renders the issues in a graphic brief:  “Atiku Abukakar is the Vice President of Nigeria and he was the one overseeing the activities of the PTDF.  He inaugurated the Interim Management Committee of the Fund in September 2000.He played prominent roles in the approvals for release of PTDF funds and their placement in two banks.  The VP had an outstanding interest in the placement of the PTDF funds in these two banks.  For one, even the $125 million for the implantation of some specific projects was not utilized for that purpose, rather because of their diversion to their placements in the two banks (TIB & ETB).  Prior to the placements of the PTDF funds, the Vice President held several meetings with either the ES (Executive Secretary of the PTDF) alone and sometime the ES and Mike Adenuga to discuss modalities regarding the placement of the funds either in TIB or ETB.  The placements were done at the detriment of the Fund as they were made at interest rates below the average CBN Minimum Rediscount Rate (MRR) even when he was strongly advised against that.”

I like your adamant spirit against voice of reasons, Atiku is this and that, he is corrupt than all politicians put together that's what I keep hearing from you folks yet he is walking free, yet no competent court of law has indicted him on corruption charges. He has even challenged and still challenging anyone with provable evidences in an open court to nail him yet no one has risen. You need help

Accomodation is far cheaper in Abuja than Lagos. There are suburbs that you will still get descent accommodation under 400k for a 2 bedroom flat and if you factor security. road network and general serenity, Abuja trumps Lagos. How much is a flat in Egbeda going for now? 500-600K!

Abuja has the best road network in Nigeria and transportation in Abuja is far cheaper than Lagos. You can get a drop from Kubwa to the Airport for 2,500k - a distance of more than 50km! That is twice the distance from Oshodi to Apapa. How much does it cost to take a drop from Apapa to V.I? Or those your useless wooden chair danfos that cost about 400 naira from Allen to Obalende?

Abuja may not have a high density of oloshos but olosho still dey and far better than those smelly Lagos girls. Because I know what you meant by night life you are referring to Olosho joints.

Talk of joints and you have a retinue of serene gardens and parks you can go and relax. Security also makes Abuja far better than Lagos. Out of boredom when I first arrived Abuja, I will leave my then resident at Lugbe FHA and drive to Wuse 2 around 2am. Can I try that nonesene in omota lagos?

Boys come to Abuja and become Men. Property business is booming and virtually any other venture. If you want a 9-5 remain in your urban jungle
God bless you real good. You said the whole truth!

Unfortunately, Nigeria is not USA if not your logic would have been the best option as we approach 2019. The problem with us is that electorates don't have a say but the powers that be (cabals made of ex military rulers and friends) that is why I will prefer another strong politician that can't be bullied around and will have a mind of his own. Atiku fits the bill to me
