Biety:
Tinubu is positioning himself/ SW to take over from Buhari, but some kids and mumus from erosion, red mud backward region of ojukwus are ridiculing themselves thinking they are mocking Tinubu.

By the time Buhari tenure ends, and Tinubu starts reaping what he's sowing today, you kids w'ld now understand how useless SE politicians are.
OSU people know nothing about politics hence they are ridiculing a man that is positioning himself and his region to snatch what they've been longing for since 1960. You'll soon understand who is Useless between Tinubu and SE politicians.
You must be a complete kid with this you're childish and aimless write up

AirFireEarthH20:
This is exactly what we have been saying. Conducting the other elections before the presidential election enable candidates be voted for on merits and popularity not using the influence of the already conducted presidential election to come to power. Most Nigerian electorates are not enlighten enough so they most likely vote for the party that has already won the presidential election. We shouldn't deceive ourselves, as far this country is concern, the outcome of presidential election has effects, whether positively or negatively, on the outcome of other elections.

I applaud the National Assembly on this laudable initiative. The presidential election must come last. I don't understand why the noise about this. Btw, in 1999, the presidential election came last
God bless you my brother you are a brilliant soul that thinks this is just the absolute truth. Kudos to the Senate for this

Please preach it bro these folks got nothing on Atiku except for innuendoes. Atiku has come to stay in the political structure of Nigeria and nothing will change that.

you are really funny for trying to use military dictatorship to discredit young persons in democracy. The people i mentioned were young persons when they held sway. whether it was the first republic or last republic is irrelevant. The point is, they burst into the scene and did quite well when they were still quite young.
You mean Awolowo and Zik in their mid 50s then? cheesy grin cheesy I will hear you some other time grin cheesy grin

the fact is you can't compare the youth of today with that of the sixties. because youth of today are more exposed and more advanced due to technology. Moreover all the instances you sighted was in the military where youthful rascality is heavily encouraged and the same is still obtainable today even in the military. we once had youths with finese, such as alvan ikoku, nnamdi azikiwe, obefemi awolowo, wole soyinka, matthew mbu, samuel imoke etc.
Now I know you are too funny to even tag he likes of Awolowo, Azikiwe, Alvan Ikoku as youths in the First Republic grin cheesy cheesy grin let me leave you now

Would you please she'd more light on Gown paying the civil service salary backlog of a foreign country? Which country was this?

I would be very grateful to you for more information on this.
Yes you can read through this link bro, http://segun.bizland.com/omoigui41.htm it was in the year 1975 sorry I said 1973 and the name of the Country then was Grenada, Gowon goofed bug time on that unilateral blunder as the Supreme Military Commander, you can read the excerpts below;

Foreign Policy

"This is a difficult area because of the lack of complete information from all concerned.  The late Major General JN Garba has written his own opinions of Gowon’s foreign policy ‘misadventures’.  However, General Gowon has rarely gone on record to explain his thinking in detail on many less well-known areas of foreign policy during in his time.  Thus, what has been labeled negatively by some of his critics may simply be the direct result of lack of information.  I am in a position to comment in detail on some of them, like the Cameroon border problem.

Some of Gowon’s close lieutenants – like the late Vice Admiral Wey – were extremely tight lipped about their experiences in government. But the Admiral did, on more than occasion before he died, express regret that those who took over from their government in July 1975 never bothered to seek policy clarity from them directly on any issue.  The Adedeji panel of 1975/76, which reviewed foreign policy since independence, took no submissions from Gowon or Wey or Hassan.

Examples include details of how a planned mercenary invasion of Equatorial Guinea, for purposes of reviving Biafra, was thwarted and whether there were any trade-offs.  Then there was the case of personal diplomacy in his pledge to assist Hamani Diori with Nigerian troops during a coup attempt in 1972.  Others include Gowon’s decision – in 1975 - to pay the salaries of civil servants in Grenada and train their Police force at Nigerian expense."

My brother leading nigeria, is a very tough task that is not meant for an old man. incase you forget, so many things that works out smoothly in advanced countries seems not to work out well in this country. i can even refer to advanced countries as well oiled and automated machine, meanwhile nigeria is still an analog country that still requires manual labour to function. This task is beyond the physical strength of a septuagenaria. Even GEJ who was young came out with grey hairs all over due to the stress of the position.
A President engage his intellectual gifts to run a Country since he will be surrounded by "lieutenants" to carry out specific instructions given them. Forget that he will be "too old" tag, Trump became President at 71 and he is doing fine Ronald Reagan became President at 69 and he spent 8 years in power going down as one of America's finest and best so my brother it is not about age but what you have upstairs! Here in Nigeria we have been ruled by youths as President in case you don't know and their inexperienced exposures cost us a lot. Gowon was 31 when he became head of state yet led Nigeria to a wasteful war with Biafra, this same youthful Gowon carelessly said, " the problem with Nigeria is not money but how to spend it". This same youthful Gowon against wise advice went ahead to pay an outstanding salary of a carribean Country's civil servants to the tune of then Nigerian N1.5 million free of charge in 1973 which was a lump sum. This same youthful Gowon left a Marshal Plan of 3Rs to Rehabilitate, Reconstruct and Reintegrate Biafrans after the war in 1970. A youthful Murtala Mohammed was 36 years old when he became head of state in 1975 yet he sacked over 10,000 Southern populated civil servants (against professional advice offered him then by those elderly super permanent secretaries in the civil service) which gave birth to ghost workers in the civil service commission that had cost the Nation wasteful expenses on "workers that don't exist", this same youthful Murtala Mohammed hurriedly map out a certain portion of expansive land (now Abuja) as Federal Capital Territory in 1975 at a time huge funds were being spent on Lagos as the then Federal Capital Territory. What would I say about a youthful, chubby cheeked Obasanjo who messed Nigeria up as a youthful 38 year old head of state in 1976 who scripted the 1979 Constitution that is still plaguing us till date as it has now metamorphosed into the erroneous and one sided 1999 constitution. This same Obasanjo perfected the art of rigging for FEDECO (the regulator of elections then) that rigged for NPN and Shagsri to emerge as President. I can go on but let me stop here but bear it in mind that I am not rubbishing the entire youths but just telling you that to govern Nigeria requires deep understanding of politics and great experience and not for greenhorns.

Buhari has to leave. Simple as that. The two things Buhari was voted in for( anti corruption and security), he has massively flopped at it. Screw Buhari abeg!!
What is it with you folks shouting Atiku is a bug thief when you can't even give us empirical evidences to back up your wild claims just because Obasanjo said so? You guys are pathetic on this Atiku issue for God's sake.

i will have supported atiku but not for his age. so i go with dankwambo
You are right but a Dankwambo is a political featherweight that can't even stand a Buhari in 2019 so the logic is very simple, field a strong PDP candidate from the North against a stubborn Buhari to split his Northern votes there and Atiku is the preferred choice. He is not too old to lead after all his appointees and cabinets will do the job. Atiku will only be an overseer over affairs of the Nation.

Atiku 'll win .atiku is also popular in the North with Yoruba vice he 'll div de the votes in the North n West . North central 'll not vote for Buhari this time . SE/ss 'll overwhelmingly vote against Buhari and that 'll be a decider .

Buhari won in 2015 because he ran against weak southern candidate . With a strong northern candidate Buhari 'll lose given his poor health condition North 'll not want a president that 'll die in office like Yaradua n a southerner 'll take over like Jonathan did .
This is it bro not many understand the dynamics of Nigerian politics here.
