PoliticsRe: Adamawa: Jonathan Withdraws Support From Ribadu by ratiken(m): 7:14pm On Aug 23, 2014
Ribadu is running as VP to GEJ come 2015. I said so and feel free to quote me in due time.
PoliticsRe: Army Should Play Lesser Role In Politics – Amaechi by ratiken(m): 1:10pm On Aug 23, 2014
I really feel for Amaechi. Nobody seems to be interested in his rants. This is a clear case of self destruction.
PoliticsRe: Mimiko May Decamps To PDP by ratiken(m): 9:19pm On Aug 22, 2014
courage54: Was he in LP before? He has always been a PDP puppet right from time, so am not surprise at all.

Once BUHARI is not contesting I will gladly sleep at home comes feb. 14, 2015. because to me he is the only person that can solve Nigeria major problem which is the problem of corruption.

God bless Nigeria
God bless Niger delta
God bless You
Please can you tell me how Buhari will solve corruption under democracy. Unless we go back to military rule.... Buhari has no democratic attribute to tackle today's democratic corruption.
He must work with the overly corrupt judiciary to prosecute whoever he assumes is corrupt. He cannot dialogue. Every system that will support his fight against corruption is more corrupt that the word corrupt.

He cannot be the president, senate, HOA, Chief Judge, Army Chief, Police chief, perm sec. etc all at the same time. He also lacks the attribute to subtly make enabling changes that will help his fight.

Having the will is one thing, application is another. Military dictatorship is very different from democracy.
PoliticsRe: y School and are illiterate by ratiken(m): 6:30pm On Aug 22, 2014
manck: 70% of national conference failed Secondary school

It is important to note, that if the West africa examination council is allowed to present their result. 70% failed secondary school. It is obvious from their report. That they were mostly people who failed high school
Please get back to school and work on your English. Maybe afterwards you might be lucky with WAEC.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Federal Ministry Of Health Massive Recruitment August 2014 by ratiken(m):
sammoR: as long as the current wastage of resources by this present govt continues, pple will strike. as lobg as we see dem politicians in their big bullet proof cars, long wasteful convoys, mansions all over d world and fat bank balances, there'll b strike. When we see that the govt is no longer greedy, and actually using oil revenues 2provide such amenities as needed, health, jobs, electricity new all then mayb pple will reason and not resort to strike. d govt spends billions wastefully n dedicates paltry sums towards pples welfare, give d fee stupid pple shut up money n dey go around shouting praises n all. I keep asking myself, what would Nigeria have been like if at independence our leaders sat down and mapped a 50 year strategy, working assiduously to towards d attainment of these thru different govts since, Nigeria will b in d class of global economies like Singapore (4get dat dey r small). Our leaders throw religion n tribe at us whule stealing us dry, formin activity in some areas n hyping their mediocrity in media n mumus follow singing praises. My brother abi na sister, strikes must continue until it engulfs d whole nation, then we occupy Nigeria and demand good and accountable governance.
You seem to be combining so many things together. If we want to occupy Nigeria, then lets do so. Striking is not a prelude to revolution.
Unfortunately, striking impacts me and you... not them. There are other ways of holding govt responsible and striking is becoming obsolete. Since I was born, we've been striking ...... what has that achieved for us?
When NMA goes on strike... Nigerian masses die
When ASUU goes on strike... Students spend forever in school
NLC goes on strike. .. price of commodities sky-rocket
Yet we have never achieved what we embarked on the strike for. Striking should be only a last resort.

Lets make use of the local and social media to seek govt attention like the opposition have been doing. Lets halt internal govt interfaces. Let's use govt events to speak out, Lets make sure every national daily carry a particular greviance on the front page for one week at a minimum. These are only instances.

If we get innovative and stop being lazy by embarking on strike on the slightest provocation.... we'll be on our way at holding the govt responsible without striking.

Striking is a lazy man's option. If we fully enforce the rule of 'no work no pay', you'll realise that most of these strike mobilizers will be the last to embark on strike. It has only become fashionable because in Nigeria, even if you go on strike for 6 months... you still get paid for it.

Striking is only an appropriate option when people are ready to forfeit their earnings to embark on strike as the last option to pursuing a long term objective.

lastpage: If this is supposed to be a 'replacement' for the sacked Doctors, l pity this Govt no be small.

Recall the Doctors, appoint a "honest Panel' to look at their "grievances", address those issues and implement them in phases.
Let them go back to work, it is not rocket science to manage such crisis, once you are honest about it.

#Ebola things!

Lastpage!
If the Government continues to give in to every labour organization's demand.... Very soon we'll have catastrophe and anarchy in our hands as every group will proceed on strike to pursue selfish/ unattainable interest.

Groups should learn and understand that STRIKE is not the only way to air their grievances and getting the attention of the government. Currently striking is looking like blackmail.
Nairaland GeneralRe: FG To Cancel Fixed Electricity Charge – BPE by ratiken(m): 7:15am On Aug 22, 2014
Fair comment, common sense
power generation and transmission is neither free nor cheap in any functional society. However, they should try and make the power supply uninterrupted.... There has been improvements though.
PoliticsRe: Some Political High Profile Assassination In Nigeria by ratiken(m): 6:52am On Aug 22, 2014
Obasanjo is the worst thing that happened to this country. Making a mess of our democratic elections and his supervised high profile political killings are the greatest crime against humanity.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Inspects 70 Million Per Day Adiyan Water Works...pics by ratiken(m): 6:41am On Aug 20, 2014
Rubbish propaganda. I see plastic water tanks and civil structures that can easily qualify for residential building foundation.

Lagos is full of intrigues, deception and propaganda. His next action will be to bash FG for not doing enough to provide portable water.
Very Predictable Evils.
PoliticsRe: What Will Nigerians Remember Goodluck Jonathan For? by ratiken(m): 8:40pm On Aug 19, 2014
Demdem: Foolishness and stupidity in governance.
An incompetent government that has seen and recorded the death of innocent Nigerians since the civil war bringing sorrow, tears and blood to various Nigerian families.
Jonathan remains a curse to the Nigerian Nation.
Demdem: A glutonic president that led in the eating of a billion naira worth of food in a financial year in the midst of abject poverty.
Demdem: The fool can't be remembered for anything in bayelsa. The drunkard did nothing as governor.
After Alams, next is Sani Abacha being revered before Jonathan.
If not for sentiments, his people knows that he is very useless and greedy.
Of recent, he has chased away by grabbing all lands adjacent to his corrupt mansion in the village.
If he cant be remembered for anything, he will be remembered for giving you serious nightmares.
You are actually spitting from the nose..... it must have been a tough job for you fighting good (GEJ) with evil (APC)
PoliticsRe: What Will Nigerians Remember Goodluck Jonathan For? by ratiken(m): 7:11pm On Aug 19, 2014
He showed us what democracy is all about... that is why every tom, dick and harry has a voice and opinion
He taught us fair politics without bitterness
He returned power to the Nigerian people through free and fair elections
He fixed our infrastructures without propaganda and noise
He made the agricultural sector attractive again. .... the first after oil discovery in Nigeria
He set the power sector on the path of self sustenance

Infact... Look around you, there must be something to remember this great gentle GEJ for.
PoliticsRe: Ebola: Why U.S. Won’t Give Nigeria Experimental Drug, Zmapp — U.S. Ambassador by ratiken(m): 7:05pm On Aug 19, 2014
Preparing the ground for the sales of their ZMapp.
If only we will be wise, we should be exploring all our options including testing out Nano silver and the various other options.

Without mincing words, The US do not mean well for the Nigeria state. Their recent antecedents are obvious proofs.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by ratiken(m): 4:40pm On Aug 19, 2014
BBC will be quick to report mutiny but will never acknowledge progress.
Ladies and Gents, the West wants our disintegration....... Kapish

Yes there are lots of improvements to be made in our poor military system, but the way the western media gloat over emerging negative news from Nigeria serves an ulterior purpose.

French Reuters is bokoharam media channel, CNN made a show of the bring back our girls campaign, the Joy at which BBC reels out these negative news. Their forces that came to help rescue the girls left without any announcement by these media. Gents, our enemies are right behind our noses

Dont get emotional about this. Lets talk facts.
PoliticsRe: FG Gives Buhari 30 Security Escorts by ratiken(m): 9:41am On Aug 19, 2014
RockMaxi: This is one of the excesses of Government, how long will this 30 officers be detailed to Buhari. 10 officers per shift to one person then how many will be with other serving political officers and we are here complaining of insecurity in the nation.
And if you read within context, you'll realise my comment was towards the gesture than the number. Besides, you have insufficient information to make that quick conclusion. You know nothing about their shifts, sequence of operations and the timeline of their assignments. So hold your peace until you get all the details.

In the meantime, God Bless GEJ.
PoliticsRe: FG Gives Buhari 30 Security Escorts by ratiken(m): 9:11am On Aug 19, 2014

Jonathan
Those three know exactly where the rest of money is located.

Before now, you guys said he is not doing anything to recover the stolen subsidy funds. Now that you've seen progress ... you are chasing a different wind direction.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu, Fashola, APC Have Failed Lagos State by ratiken(m):
OP is absolutely right

Take away propaganda and think about, what has fashola achieved in 8 years?

Only in lagos state - three toll plazas on two inner lagos roads. Imagine if every state govt followed that path?
PoliticsRe: These Are The 24 Selfish Reasons Nigerian Doctors Are On Strike-premiumtimes by ratiken(m): 6:38pm On Aug 18, 2014
For a profession such as medicine, its against humanity to proceed on strike for money while you watch the same people you swore to treat die on the sidelines.

Strike should never be an option to be employed to gain govt attention in that field. There are so many ways to get at the govt outside strikes; laziness and greed have blinded NMA to other options with which they can air their grievances. Its just like saying our gallant soilders proceed on strike. .... NEVER.

It is morally and religiously unjustifiable to accept and spend unearned salaries within which period human lifes were lost because you were proving a point.

ENOUGH!!!
PoliticsRe: Former VP Atiku Abubabkar Disapprove The Sacking Of Resident Doctors By FG by ratiken(m): 6:45pm On Aug 17, 2014

Atiku is a political non-entity. Kapish
PoliticsRe: The Full Text Of Gov. Fashola's Inspiring Speech That Rattled Aso-rock by ratiken(m): 9:58pm On Aug 16, 2014
Fashola remains a political non-entity and does not deserve any attention from Aso Rock.

The game plan is simple, PDP will recover lagos state from tinubu come 2015. Jimi Agbaje will expose all the atrocities of Fashola and Tinubu; Fashola will end up in kirikiri.

No amount of balderdash and propaganda will save them.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Ribadu Dumps APC, Joins PDP? by ratiken(m): 9:47pm On Aug 16, 2014
I cant really blame him.
APC has no future and their antecedents & mode of politics have proven same.
Any smart politician with an eye for the future cannot be in their fold.
HealthRe: Ebola: Nigerians Blast US FDA For Calling Its Experimental Drug, Pesticide by ratiken(m): 3:04pm On Aug 16, 2014
size38: Nigeria should go develop their own drugs not depending on other peoples sweat and investments. Just yesterday GEJ sacked 16,000 resident Doctors in Nigeria. Have we seen America or any other developed countries do this? Have we seen from other countries where universities and polytechnics were shot down for several months? All these happens in nigeria frequently.
You my friend is a Size 38 FOOL. Stay on topic and stop derailing this important thread

On topic: We need to test out Nano silver before discarding it. The speed at which the US condemned this option supports many conspiracy theories.
