GEJ should step in and wade into this emerging chaos. Until we have the vaccines and cure, kids should stay home. |
Reptyle: What does GEJ do for a living outside been President? How on earth can a sane mind ask this question? what else should he be doing outside doing what he was elected to do? Just when I think I've seen the depth of dumbness, you guys beat me to it. |
Three pages down the line and nobody has been able to name a single thing Buhari does for a living. No business name, no member board of director of any company..... Nothing I ask again, WHAT DOES BUHARI DO FOR A LIVING?. Pensioners don't fund elections. |
Propaganda is coming too late. This move is coming to stall the all-out onslaught by the NA in the guise that hostages are in the bokoharam camp.. I say 'kill them all' |
Is he and his APC goons tired of faulting every move by FG and NA at combating the insurgency? Its already too late, its public knowledge that APC is Bokoharam. Any effort at dissociating himself from the terror group is a futile effort. |
Jakpon: Maiduguri is under siegeAre you reporting from the bokoharam camp? Maiduguri is not under siege. |
Anybody still in doubt that Sahara reporters is the media arm of bokoharam and APC needs a head reset. |
Really? Fashola is the biggest fraud under our democracy cos he always tries to put up saintly fronts in the face of monumental criminality. Let me put this in perspective. With a monthly federal allocation of 19B and monthly IGR of 29B and a loan 160 billion, lagos states has managed 4.5 TRILLION naira in the past 7.5 years. What has this humongous funds being used for apart from paying state salaries, planting flowers, painting schools and repairing select roads bearing in mind that FERMA. Is responsible for numerous federal roads in the state. APC is a curse to Nigeria and they must be booted out of lagos come 2015 I pay an annual tax of over 4M, I spend about 104K annually on tolls, I provide and treat my water at a cost, we contribute to repair our internal street roads. And yet this fraud of a man while avoiding the FOI bill goes around borrowing funds my kids will be forced to pay. God will punish Fashola and Tinubu |
Funny The war against boko haram their brain child is getting closure and they are out blabbing and yapping. They need to understand that GEJ remains their president till 2019 and get used to it. |
HNosegbe: So the likes of Tony Anenih, Alamieyeseigha, Bode George and Edwin Clark are good men abi?And if he discards these ones you listed as bad men, who are the ones he should work with? Atiku or Tinubu. Or Buhari the extremist? Only a dummy will expect that a good man should discard all the supposed bad people around him before he can make good impact on the people. An average Nigerian is very corrupt and am not sure where these good men you expect him to work with should be harvested from. The ability of a good leader is to utilize the good attributes of the not so good followers to achieve good results. |
We have no option than win today's match Congo has 6 points already after a win against Sudan and SA will be having 6 if we mess up today. Zero points for Nigeria after today's match is a wrong place to be. |
Extremist and mere Terrorist |
Ttalk: @ratiken: It is a dunce that will expect a country's problem to be solve overnight, that does not mean the problem should nose dive without any sign of solution in sight, i tell you,Bro I shall respond to you cos you have carried on maturedly 1stly....we both agree there is no magic wand to Nigeria's problems Lets talk about the debt. .. until you read through the debt management office submissions, dont be in a haste to castigate the FG. Somethings to think about are the fact that just about 6 opposition states being responsible for over 60% of total debts. Security has always being over budget since Insurgency spiralled and some of those excesses were borrowed. Our excess crude account have been on the increase as well under this govt. Subsidy scam - in the real sense, all thanks to GEJ for exposing the fraud. This fraud has been in existence since the start of oil product subsidization but has been kept secret until GEJ surfaced. They only understated amounts paid in the past but the real amounts were made public by the GEJ govt and now you are blaming same govt for revealing the fraud. He wanted to end the scam by eliminating the subsidy entirely at assuming office but we all lambasted him for that. Nigerians are very corrupt people and what we need are good institutions and regulatory structures to check the excesses and that this govt have been doing. Security - Insecurity is at an all time high because some elements you are currently proposing as the right alternative has vowed not to see Nigeria progress without them in power and that they verbally promised. Ours is a very tribal and religiously divided country with compromised elements scattered all over the military strata and ministries with locals who share same sentiments with these terrorists.Add the overwhelming and biased influence of the west to the dire situation and you will realise there is no ready made formular to the security puzzle. Our military weapons and ammunition has decayed over the years and this govt is trying to re-equip to combat the challenge. Yes, more could have been done but its totally unfair to say nothing is being done. If there has been no progress, the entire north should be on fire at the moment knowing how these terrorists operate. You said electoral fraud? Its on record by local and international organisations that Nigeria has seen the best election under this govt. Its public knowledge so I won't dwell on it. |
djfaithy: hmmmmm you've spoken well bro, I have a simple question for you, please bro tell us 1 thing that gej would be remembered for which has never been done by any other president before I.e obj would be remembered for gsm which he brought during his first term in office, what are we going to remember your pay master GEJ for?Since you just said Obj will be remembered for gsm..... you do not deserve a response. |

Firstly, I am only aware GEJ was sworn in as the president of Nigeria in 2011 and as such I am not sure where you got your 6 years GEJ presidency from. Secondly, you still don't get the privatization story... Do you? I repeat.... There is no magic wand anywhere that would fix our dilapidated power facilities in a day. It is work in progress and will continue to be so till we get there. If it requires supporting the IPPs to ramp up effectively, so be it. I need to also remind you that it is Nigerians like me and you who are as corrupt as the word 'corrupt' that manage these IPPs with their very many interest. But for once in a long while, I've seen a man who is determined to fix the power sector at all cost despite the distraction, sabotage of gas pipelines and all inherent challenges. Finally, I repeat that there is no magic wand to fix Nigeria's problems. Its going to take time, efforts and patience. Even the messiah you seek will be needing these whenever he surfaces. Unfortunately, even with your messiah under your nose.... Tribalism and sentiments has a way of instilling absolute blindness to happenings around you. More than ever, I am strongly convinced Nigeria is heading for better days. No negativity and distraction can change that. |
mistudreh: Then if not for the road linking those states together, he wouldn't have done anything then... Had it been you are staying in Osun, you would have a better understanding of what am trying to say... The free and fair election you mentioned was what you read about in dailies and on social medias too... Why should a security officer put on mask? Why should a PDP chieftain lead the arrest of opposition members in the midnight? If you say the election was nothing close to free and fair.... then am done discussing with you. Going by your logic, the masked security officer was working to ensure a win for the opposition... right? |
Ttalk: Singing praises of someone who has not done enough to justify the resources at his disposals is utterly rubb!sh. I don't want to be harsh with the OP and his co-travellers who celebrate mediocrity at the expense of the best. If youth who is supposed to be concern about the state of the nation could result to bottom licking, then we shouldn't expect changes in the nearest future. If Kenya could enjoy uninterrupted electricity with little resources what stop GEJ from achieving same after spending six years in the Villa?Quite gibberish bro. The power facilities in your area cannot sustain 96 hours of uninterrupted electricity. Your local transformer will give up in 36 hours. The distribution network across the country needs total overhaul and that does not happen in a year. The turbines and plants are not off-shelf items that you just walk in and buy. Our past and desperation for constant power does not mean relegating reality and feasibility in the background. If anything, this GEJ govt have set the power sector on the path of self restoration through privatization. Yet you guys let go of the Buharis and the Objs who had the uninterrupted opportunity to give us constant power but utterly failed to castigate an honest man whose efforts at restoring Nigeria is in full glare. You...... yes I mean you are the problem of Nigeria |
mistudreh: @OP, you ought not be so harsh in trying to let the people know about the performance of GEJ. He is really doing his best but I think his best aren't enough yet.He is the president of Nigeria and not the governor of Osun state. Osun Indegenes ply lagos-ibadan expressway. The IPP projects will and is impacting Osun state. The agricultural boom is positively impacting Osun Indegenes. He allowed free and fair election for Osun Indegenes to make their gubernatorial choice. Now you my friend, what are you on about? This performance analysis stemming from a mindset of national governance along tribal and territorial lines is the highest form of illiteracy and ignorance. |
Abians have had their own fair share of bad governance. I believe they have learnt their lessons and will be wise come 2015. TA Orji is a disgrace to humanity. His naked video at the Okija shrine still roaming cyberspace. |
Without any iota of doubt. ...... Nobody compares to GEJ within our political sphere at the moment. He is multiple miles ahead of the closest alternative. |
RIP to the dead. However, I urge the relevant agencies to pls educate these hardworking LAWMA officials that displaying a sign is not sufficient enough deterrent for reckless drivers. I have seen lots of them confidently sweeping middle of busy roads at peak hours just because they have a LAWMA sign displayed some feet away. They need to be positionally alert as we have many insane drivers on lagos roads. Possibly avoid peak-hours. They are doing good jobs, we need them alive. |
holyboss: AfricaWhatever will be left of life at that time will be such that Africans in their naughtiness will rule the world. Dont get it twisted, no one can accurately predict what will become of human existence in the long term but if I should depend on history. .... Africa is evolving and will pull through in due time. |
The yanks are bent on messing Nigeria. It will be from one issue to the other until they get exactly what they want. |
Interesting Piece. If life continues, Africa will one day rule the world. That's just the way it is, things will never be the same, that' just the way is, O yeah ......... Tupac Amaru Shakur |
APC e-squirrels. ....... behold your presidential flagbearer. |
Sahara Reporters. ... Promoting Bokoharam since 2011. Always eager to report the advancement of Bokoharam and their destruction but always staying silent on the exploits of the NA no matter how few. Same SR is the mouthpiece of APC ...... and that cannot be coincidence. I will wait for an unbiased version of the Mubi story. |
ideyhere: Is it Jonathan's book launch or the launch of a book written about Jonathan?Dont bother on these jokers, Haters will always hate. Nigerians are tired of propaganda. |
The APC e-millipedes started the thread and flooded it with early 'NOs' with their multiple accounts. However, Nigerians have continued to speak the unbiased truth that GEJ remains our best democratic president. Despite his flaws, no other supposed opposition flagbearer comes close to him in a long shot. |
jauntty: I beg to differ from your view. Does that mean Banks, markets, churches/mosques and every point of interaction should also be closed till Ebola is fully EradicatedBanks, markets, churches etc are operated by adults. You do not expect kids to maintain the same hygiene level required of adults |
This is not good. What is the rush about? When we cannot manage the few ebola patients we have in isolated instances. We can easily have an uncontrollable outbreak in our hands if we don't think through this action appropriately. Until we have a cure to the ebola virus, (local or foreign), kids should stay home. One infected kid oin a school can easily transmit to a class of 30 in less than 4 days especially in the public schools where hygiene is poor and teachers care less about the health status of the poor kids. 30 infected kids could easily mean 30 infected families and the multiplier continues. This could easily result in over 100K infected cases in just a month. Until we get our hands around ebola, Kids should stay home ...... Kapish |
All these debts must be probed otherwise me and my kids will be forced to service debts looted by a party whose sole aim is to antangonize a working system. |
Ribadu is being positioned for something greater. Watch this space. If GEJ will hand over to a Northerner come 2019 ..... It can only be Ribadu. |
