That his antecedence can only be corruption and thug like behaviour. Corruption and thieving are the same according to you guys. Again when did we start to benchmark rigging? Rigging is rigging whether blatant or otherwise. What is bad is bad and when you support some cos its done by your people and abhor some cos its done by people you assume to be your enemy Nigeria will remain same.

Its wrong to blame a gov cos he is owning 5 months salary and praise another that is owning one month as many of you do here on daily basis.
Don't bother responding to that tribalist that always turns reasoning on its head when it comes to issues with lagos politics but will blab away at any southern related politics

Agbaje congratulated Ambode because he is a gentleman and had nothing to do with free and fair election. Punch and Vanguard as well as sahara reporters were careful not report all the rigging going on in lagos

We heard about the shooting at Ojota.
We heard about the ballot box snatching at Alimosho, Oshodi and Lagos Island.
Picture of nabbed ballot box snatchers at Amuwo Odofin still litter the net.
We are also aware of the missing voting materials at Isolo.

Info about massive polls rigging n lagos abound. So shut it.

Abeg my people, make una help me read wertin I write, at what point did I mention Ambode? Well, if PDP was so sure of winning y not allow the election to be free and fair. The state u alluded to was majorly free and fair.
We don read am. Why are you non-riverians interested in rivers politics? Allow rivers politics for rivers people and focus on your yoruba politics.

I hope the incoming government lay their hands on his suggestions and implement it to the letter. I also trust Wike to follow through.

Useless Amaechi and APC

Now that it's clear that APC has no place in Rivers politics after a whooping 1million votes difference. ... rivers people have spoken. No tribunal will be silly enough to upturn 1million votes.

Actions for Wike

1. In the first three weeks in office, we need to know how much is missing from the coffers of Rivers state under Amaechi. He should be charged straight to court for wasting funds meant to develop rivers state on bankrolling a presidential candidate.

We would be keenly watching to see how the anti-corruption president Buhari would afford to have an endemically corrupt Amaechi in his cabinet.

2. Just like Amaechi saw to the relocation of NLNG to rivers state from Lagos, All oil producing companies with majority of their fields in rivers state must relocate ALL offices down to rivers state from lagos state. 95% of their work forces should operate from their PH bases. These should include but not limited Shell, Agip, Septa, Total etc. This will greatly drive up the economy and development of rivers state.

I expect Delta and Akwaibom to follow suit in dragging back Chevron and Mobil to their operational basis

It is expected that once the IOCs relocate, all the service companies operating with them will follow suit.
You are one intelligent dude.
In addition, Wike should liaise with other state governors to come up with some seaport somehow. Maybe the Intels ports partnership needs to be revisited.... Because Atiku should not ripping us in our backyard.

Enough of the dependence on Lagos ports. We must find a local solution.

Its time to see what is truly driving this lagos economy that the yorubas have been yapping about.
PoliticsRe: Buhari And The Fight Against Corruption - The Reality by ratiken(m): 12:00pm On Jan 07, 2015
Very apt write-up.
No better reality than what you just stated. Unfortunately, Nigerians are ill-informed and always seeking immediate gains. Otherwise these are very obvious points that every right thinking Nigerian will reason along the lines.

Again...... Spot on.
PoliticsRe: Police, Lagos Agency Clash Over Political Posters by ratiken(m): 10:02am On Jan 07, 2015
Typical of APC government in shouting more than the bereaved.

These LASAA guys have been all over lagos pulling down PDP posters and leaving the APC posters just beside it. APC poster are litteres all over unauthorized places and these LASAA guys turn a blind eye to it.

Anyway, the end of APC in lagos is at hand. That am very sure of.

PoliticsRe: A Tale Of Two Elections: How I Went From Sai Buhari To Go Jonathan! by ratiken(m): 1:09pm On Jan 05, 2015
No better truth.

Nigerians are illiterates. We condemn our best heads for useless reasons. We are very short sighted refusing to see beyond our noses.

We only view the world from our selfish lenses. Just because its not perfect does not mean we are not on the right path. We are only interested in short term benefits.

The world over keep appreciating the technocrats we have in this government and yet Nigerians condemn them. They seem to understand our progress better than us. They understand their key policies and its impacts on us better than us.

More than ever the future of Nigeria is so bright ..... every process takes time. The rot of many years cannot just be wished away, it takes time to be worked.

Agriculture is the future of Nigeria and not oil.... this govt understands that and has worked it

The automobile industry is the future of manufacturing in Nigeria. ... this is being worked

The power sector is not business as usual. It is on the path of self improvement in the hands of the private sector. Constant power will take funds, equipment and time but more than ever... its within sight

The gas gathering project in Delta is a huge boost for the power sector and other sectors

Oil and gas downstream deregulation is the next big thing with massive potential for revenue, employment etc. Dangote's refinery is coming up speedily. ... other investors will come in at the removal of subsidy

Our elections are now free and fair.... power belongs again to the people courtesy of this govt

Roads are better, Railways are back to ease the heavy load impact on our roads

Foreign direct investment is at its alltime high despite our local challenges

Security issues are a current distraction will we will overcome. But we should not lose sight of where we are headed. With the current policies in place..... Nigeria is the next big thing. The whole world sees it except Nigerians.

Corruption is being fought systematically by restructuring systems... fertiliser scam, unfair election, ghost workers in public service, rule of law. These might not be the way we expected it fought but this is one way to ensure the gains are permanent. More needs to be done.

It's time Nigerians stop complaining and play issues based politics. The people who call this government clueless are actually the clueless ones. The plans are very clear and visible.

But how come it's not INEC demanding for the certificate but PDP and allies?
Drop a link where PDP requested for the certificate
Nigerians are requesting for the cert not PDP. INEC stated that cert verification is planned for Jan 16 to 18.... that is Buhari's deadline.

It is all politics being orchestrated by PDP out of fear of Buhari. No issue based campaign, all they do is character assassination.
Is it not the same Jega at INEC when Buhari contested last election? So what has changed?
The constitution is clear on this. I didn't write the constitution. Buhari should provide his school certificate or its equivalent.

PoliticsRe: I’ll Sanction Mbaka If He’s Under My Diocese, Says Onaiyekan by ratiken(m): 7:36am On Jan 05, 2015
Only a fool will believe Mbaka is a man of God.
The story is now very clear to any sane mind

In November, he declared GEJ the best president ever. He expected some compensation from the presidency for the campaign and none was forth coming. He tried calling PEJ but could not reach her either.

That was the reason he had to go against GEJ from his alter believing that is the sure way to get the presidency's attention.

Am sorry, But Mbaka is no man of God and holy spirit never ministered to him. He's just after his pocket at the election period.

Thanks to GEJ for signing the FOI bill his predecessors refused signing.

Mighty thanks to GEJ again for a transparent electoral process which has been adjudged as free and fair. Its one man one vote.... Power clearly belong to the people courtesy of GEJ.

PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Should Be Allowed To Contest: Certificate Or Not! by ratiken(m): 8:27pm On Jan 04, 2015
MalcoImX:
Let this be clear to you. There is no iota of doubt as regards Buhari's qualification and nobody can do anything about it since no law is broken. If anything happens to your documents, or if for whatever reasons you can't access them, the law provides you take an oath stating why they can't be provided. The only issue will be if you are found to lie under oath. We are certain as the sun rising from the East tomorrow that February will come and Buhari will contest. You and the Op (whose purpose is to raise suspicion) are only wasting your time.
The constitution clearly states that any public officer vying for the post of the federal Republic of Nigeria will have SSCE or its equivalent at a minimum.

This condition must be met and verified.... there is no two ways around it. Buhari has to provide a certificate (photocopy or original) that would be verified by INEC to ensure he meets the criteria... its not rocket science.

GEJ as a person wont mind having Buhari on the ballot for APC as defeating him is certain. But we will be setting a bad precedence for our nascent democracy. This is the true change Nigerians have been yearning for.... everyone should play by the rules

berem:
Can we now move forward? Certificate or no certificate!

Noblezone, you came when the party is over. Try again please!
Unfortunately this is not one of the topics that can be wished away. The constitution is clear on this... either he provides his certificate to be verified or he will be disqualified.

More unfortunate is the drama so far. Even if his certificate surfaces now..... a lot of questions will continue to come up on its genuineness. Besides, why would he say the army has his certs?..... that is far trailing act.

PoliticsRe: Reduce Fuel Price, APC Tells FG by ratiken(m): 6:50pm On Jan 04, 2015
Everything for politics. Buhari has to provide his certificate first.

After we can now explain simple economics to the illiterate that the target is to reduce the subsidy cost in this period of reduced revenue driven by falling crude oil prices.

The cost of refined PMS in the international market is still greater than 97 naira and It makes no economic sense maintaining same subsidy cost aimed at reducing prices at the pumps.

As a matter of fact, this is the time to take away subsidy entirely but the gullibility of Nigerians will spell doom for the FG towards 14th Feb if that happens now.
