All through my life, I have always hated and avoided politics because I feel less concerned and also feel its a dirty game for bad people, but funny enough, these same bad people decide our fate and future in this country, so why do we keep running away from politics as youths of Nigeria

They don't care about the future of Nigerians, they care about enriching themselves and looting more money for their unborn generation. They have nothing to offer us. We shouldn't allow APC or PDP to win in 2019, enough is enough! We are tired of their fake promises! We are tired of their division of Nigeria using religion and tribalism as a tool. If not for bad leadership, Nigeria would have been a lovely country like USA where other country citizens will clamor to come in but look at Nigeria today, we are in a total mess! No future!

No Nigerian is sure of his or her future no matter how rich you are today, why Bad leadership! Nigerians are corrupt, Nigerians steal because they are scared of their future, they are scared their children and family will suffer tomorrow, so they steal and do all nonsense to secure a future they are scared of.

How can a governor proceed to become a senator after exhausting 8 years in office doing nothing for his state And we youths support them and help them actualize their devilish goals just because of peanut money.

How can we elect people who have no proven clean business or career success through diligence and integrity as our leaders Our president, governors should be successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, business gurus, technocrats and not retired military men who only believe in guns. Nigeria is still under military rule....its either a retired military officer is ruling us or his stooge is....so how do we claim to be a democratic nation

Who said corruption can only be fought with guns and bombs In 21st century, you fight corruption with technology and not with guns and bartons.

Agriculture is never what we need to develop Nigeria; these old men are deceiving us...what we need to change Nigeria is technology and we must go for it! With technology, we will develop our agriculture, medical sector, manufacturing sector, etc.

Whoever told you that Nigeria is making progress is deceiving you! How can we as a nation not able to take care of presidents health and we call ourself a nation

It is shameful that as advanced nations of the world are moving towards technology-driven youth leadership and e-government, Nigeria is still stuck in the 1960 leadership style of gun barrels whereby retired military officers and retired civil servants who ought to be resting with their grandchildren and telling them Moon tales are now the ones making ancient policies for our future based on their ancient ideas that are most times obsolete and not feasible in our today technology-driven world.

How do we as youths of 21st century believe that old men who only believe in traditional agriculture and crude oil mining as the only way to develop a nation will bring the much desired change we need to build our dream nation

We need to change this status quo now!

Visit foreign embassies; especially US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, UAE, China, Australia, South Africa, just name it and see how Nigerian youths are queueing up en mass to leave Nigeria as if Nigeria is at war. Even war torn countries like Syria, Libya, Iraq, etc aren't witnessing the mass migration of her citizen compared to what's happening in Nigeria now, why

Because Nigerians are scared of the future of Nigeria, so they are leaving to any habitable planet just to flee from the hardship inflicted on Nigeria by bad leaders we have had over the years.

Nigerian youths please let's all arise as one this time irrespective of our tribe, religion or affiliation....we have a common enemy to fight: poverty, unemployment, under-employment and of course leadership corruption!

We can change Nigeria as one united youths!

How can we achieve this

Let's form a Nigerian youth revolution party with the aim of electing selfless and visionary youth leaders in various key leadership positions in Nigeria; President, Governors, Senators (very important), state legislators, reps, etc.

Remember, youths make up majority of Nigeria's voting population, so if we can unite, believe me, we can win these seats and chart a new course for Nigeria that every Nigerian will be proud of.

I therefore table my request to you honorable youths; let's form a Nigerian Youth Revolution Party.

The manifesto will be rolled out..and if you have suggestions on how to bring this to reality please come forward.

After the party is formed, we will invite Nigerian youths home and abroad that are doing exceedingly well in their respective fields to join us. We will have unique binding rules to ensure we elect only the best who have Nigeria at heart.

Top on our manifesto will be job creation through 21st century entrepreneurship development, Nigerian technology revolution, restructuring Nigeria for effective leadership and grassroot governance, elimination of leadership corruption through the use of internet technology, creating a honest and truthful database of Nigerians to enable us know who and who are Nigerians.

The Nigerian Law School on Saturday released the summary of the final examination results conducted in August.
Chinedu Ukekwe, Head of Information and Protocol of the Nigerian Law School, in a statement said 1,272 candidates failed out of a total of 5,891 that participated in the examinations.
The candidates who failed represented 21.6 per cent.
“29 students made First Class, 211 Second Class Upper, 1,046 Second Class Lower.”
He said 2,999 got a Pass, while 334 came out with conditional Pass.
4,285 candidates were successful and will be called to the Nigerian Bar.
A further breakdown of the results showed 72.7 per cent passed, while those with conditional Pass represented 5.7 per cent.
Ukekwe in the statement revealed that the “Call to the Bar ceremony for the successful candidates will hold on November 28 and 29 in Abuja”.

The Lagos State Police Command, has revealed the autopsy of Late Tagbo Umeike, a friend of Nigerian music star, Davido.
Acting Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, said Tagbo died from suffocation.
Edgal made the disclosure during a press briefing, on Wednesday in Lagos.
He also disclosed that Davido has been re-invited for questioning over Tagbo’s death.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has denied that he offered a bribe to Governor of Imo State,Rochas Okorocha, ahead of the 2015 presidential election.
In a statement released by his spokesman, Ikechukwu Eze, Jonathan said he did not offer “huge sums of money and an influential ministry” to Okorocha in order to make him dump the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“We offer to quickly dismiss these claims as lies, because we are clear in our minds that such conversation never happened.
“We are wondering whether this truly came from the governor because we are sure that even governor Okorocha himself did not believe that anybody would accept these claims.
“In the first place, it sounded irrational and absurd. Besides, it was obvious to all and sundry that the south-east, being Dr. Jonathan’s political stronghold, the ex-President did not need Okorocha to win in the zone.
“However, to set the records straight, we make bold to say that former President Jonathan never made any contact with Okorocha, ahead of the 2015 elections.
“All those who had either worked closely with him in any capacity, or served in Jonathan’s administration can bear testimony to the fact that idle talk is not his style.
“Since we know that the only proof the purveyors of this bribery allegation could offer is to probably claim that the transaction happened in a dream, we can only offer the governor sincere advice, to avoid rumours and twaddle, and get down to the business of result-oriented governance.
“Governor Okorocha would have served his state better, if he directed his enormous drive to creating growth and development opportunities for the good people of Imo state, rather than allowing himself to be drawn into dissipating his energy on platitudes and propaganda,” the statement said.

A Lagos lawmaker, Mr Jude Idimogu, on Saturday, said it was too late for the Igbo nation to pull out of Nigeria.
Idimogu, representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that secession would be injurious to the Igbos.
He said: “As a full blooded Igbo man and a Nigerian, I believe, Igbo staying in Nigeria as an entity will prosper the Igbo nation better than pulling out.
“After the 1967 Civil war, the Igbo man started all over again to build up; now Igbo nation has made progress in terms of economy and politics.
“Though the Igbo nation has not reached where it is expected to be politically, we should dialogue rather than be creating war scenarios.
‘’It is too late to pull out (of Nigeria), Igbo nation has united Nigeria because they have businesses everywhere in this country,” the lawmaker said.
The lawmaker urged Mr Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to rescind from any action that could create enmity against Igbos around the country.
He urged the Igbo nation to unite with other ethnic groups in the country to articulate their grievances and actualised their dreams.
“My children were born in Lagos and some of them don’t even know their state of origin, they speak Yoruba and so many Igbo children are like that across the North and West.
“We have our future in Nigeria. The only thing Igbo nation should fight for is political power not by creating war scenario but by merging with other nations/tribes in Nigeria – the Northerners and Westerners.
“Most Igbos, over 50 per cent, don’t even believe in Biafra because they have counted the cost from 1970 after the war till 2017. No one wants to go back to square one; it is not possible.
“As a person, I am against it; what the Igbo man should struggle for in this entity are equality, fairness and justice, not pulling out.
“It is very late to pull out, it will be difficult because majority of us are not ready to fight any war; I don’t want to lose my life nor my sons and daughter in war; I believe we can make Nigeria our home,’’ he said.
According to him, even if the Igbo nation wants to pull out of Nigeria, it is not going to be overnight or by aggression, rather it should be via a friendly and democratic process.
“Kanu should calm down, unite with Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a tree cannot make a forest,” the lawmaker said.
NAN reports that there had been several agitations by IPOB for a Sovereign State of Biafra, the development that lead to the proscription of the group. (NAN)

A security consultant, Chigozie Onyeukwu Ubani, has said that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reawakened the urgent need to restructure Nigeria.

He condemned the labelling of IPOB as a terrorist organization and urged the federal government to tread with caution.
“Nnamdi has used the language of the beasts to galvanize Nigerians to a subject which notable Nigerians have unsuccessfully championed in the last 50 years,” he said.
“The Aburi Accord was mostly about restructuring Nigeria. Let us now take it further for the benefit of posterity. Nnamdi Kanu has done his bit and has his place in history.
“In my opinion, the Federal Government went about it wrongly because proscription is only on paper and not on the minds of the people, which incubates the liberation ideology. It is unfortunate that the federal government refused to look at the big picture and decided to play at the lowest strata of this impasse.
“This proscription can produce different results. It can cause IPOB activists to go underground, with grievous consequences for the nation state. It can also cause IPOB to restructure and become a more formidable and potent force, with better acceptability.
“I believe IPOB needs and will undergo restructuring. They need it as some of the insults and vituperations of other tribes where unnecessary for the struggle. However, IPOB lawyers have approached the court to seek reversal of such declarations and proscription.
” That bold legal step alone simply shows that the intent of setting up IPOB was neither criminal nor terrorist, but revolutionary. Let’s watch how the legal tussle goes, as the outcome will enrich our jurisprudence,” Ubani told Vanguard.

More groups in Southern region have warned against the planned Operation Crocodile Smile II by the Nigerian Army.
Army had on Wednesday said the operation would go after Badoo groupand other criminal organisations in the South.
Director, Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, explained that the military operations – Egwu Eke II and Crocodile Smile II – like the earlier operations, were not targeted at “any particular ethnic group or group of individuals”.
Reacting, Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, and the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, advised the Nigerian government to reconsider the planned deployment, saying the move could undermine the relative peace in the region.
PANDEF Coordinating Secretary, Dr. Alfred Mulade, said deployment of soldiers was “misadvised and ill-conceived especially at this time when the geopolitical zone is gradually coming to terms with the urgent need for sustaining the relative peace in the region.”
President of the IYC, Mr. Eric Omare, warned that extension of Operation Crocodile Smile II to the Niger Delta region will create tension in the area.
Omare said, “The plan unnecessary; the Federal Government should not consider what the Operation Python Dance did in the South-East, which led to the tagging of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) as a terrorist group, as an achievement.
“What Operation Python Dance II has done is not an achievement to the Federal Government. It is negative for the government.
“For the Niger Delta, from my experience, extending the Operation Crocodile Smile II to the Niger Delta will only aggravate the volatile situation in the region.”
In its reaction, Afenifere insisted that the Southwest does not require troops for security, urging them to go and fight Boko Harm in Northeast.
