Oshin56:
please kind of gift ?

Honestly, this people can afford everything. Your kind gesture no matter how small will be appreciated and subsequently rewarded.
The female something like perfume, incense, wrapper, bags whatever you can afford. If it’s festive season consider the occasion and make an affordable package for that. Always send with a card. Have a trusted somebody to deliver or even courier.
For male: perfumes, shadda, cuff links etc
There are alot of affordable ideas. I saw someone made a package of daddawa, kuka and other traditional cooking ingredients.
If muslim you can send praying mat, qur’an, tasbih for this eid ram for me sounds tooo.....

Start building your connections, make a priority list, semi priority and supplementary. Don't appear desperate to them, don't beg too much, don't disturb and don't appear to them like poor and destitute.

God Bless you for this. Don’t take this lightly.
Alot started with knowing no one.

There's a difference between patience and wasting your time oo.
I just believe that when the time is right, everywhere go stew.

Still comes down to making enquiries.

Ladysafe:
Some people do not even have connections. Where do they start from?

Let me burst your bubble. When i started my job search 15months ago I had NO connection.

Abokii8:
Our people are really good in that aspect. I changed three FG jobs in a space of three years, all given to me by people that never knew me. One of them even gave me a car and good cash on top the job offer. They're some southerners that are good too. A southerner offered me an INEC and another, offered me FRSC, though I politely rejected both.

I believe what matters is patience and approach. Wallahi most are not patient at all. They expect a politician to collect cv today and job tomorrow. That does not work ai.

I have the contact details of one of Atiku's daughter but anytime I call, na one deep voice aide dey answer.... Don't know if it would be a good idea to send her text message instead.

I am not an expert or a pro, but for me, the first step was all about enquiry and asse northern politicians are greedy.

This thread is almost hitting 1k page and most people are yet to find helpers. What could be the problem exactly?

Mostly not paying attention to advises from the likes of tammy, nwanyio....... there was a day nwanyi.... was advising sending gifts or taking gifts to your potential connect, I doubt if anyone has taken her words seriously. Well I did, and thank God!!! Thank you nwanyio... though you are no longer here.

To be honest most of the Slot being sold are those given to Southern Senators and MOR.... The Northern ones give their own to their people it is only when the recipient decides to sell his or her slot...
Tomorrow they will be shouting marginalisation while it is the people representing you guys that has sold you out....

Good morning. I sorry for trying to interrupt your discussion. I want to testify to your claims.
