The emboldened line is where there might be a problem. why the initial of a totally different name? well, Your clearance officer will put your through. Swear an affidavit and keep it aside in case of any eventuality. Don't show your clearance officer. I repeat, don't show them an affidavit unless required.

U ain't known uniben yet, have you?!! Even with dis clearance saga, uniben will send many home, n deir admission forfeited...

M facing the same thing wif u, I was scared because of it. BT when I did ma jupeb clearance, dey didn't ask for it..

I am trying to muster the thickness not to sound antagonistic. The fact is, If you use different names on your credentials, It might hamper your clearance a little. Pray for a chummy clearance officer who will be amiable to explain certain things to you.

I just noticed an error on my gce printout.a name was added to it nd that name is not on my jamb,waec or post ume result...i know its possible to swear an affidavit but cant the name be corrected by waec at their office in asaba?

ahhhh! Abasi aya yana fi..! May God help you. be wise please. WAEC tossed me like dice for months before I could collect my certificate. if you check my profile, you will see a thread I created as a result of my traumatic predicament then.

1. You can't submit your print-out for correction. only WAEC certificates can be corrected.


2. It will take 12months, 10k and your original birth certificate if you want to correct any data on your Waec certificate. be it name or Date of birth. if you can husband the The time and wait, good luck! But by then, your admission would have gone with the wind of time.

3. you can't have different names on your WAEC or GCE print-out and your certificate. the names on the certificate and that on the print-out Must tally in kin and kind. If there is any discrepancy, then there is a problem

4. Don't swear an affidavit, though the likelihood of your clearance being delayed is colossal. Uniben will have to correct the name on your Post Ume print-out to tally with that on your WAEC certificate as they do not Wield the right to correct your waec cert.

Please, be very careful. tales of woe and gloom has been told by those who neglected these slew details and later Got menacled out of Uniben. may that not be your lot. ciao!

only hall2 and hall3 are used for temporary accomodation,for the previous years ,boys will stay in hall2 while girls in hall3,then when school resaumes fully and ppl have been given hostel spaces,girls will now occupy hall1,2 and half of hall5,then boys hall3,4 and half of hall5

but this year is quite diff or maybr they will soon change them,my guys in school are staying in hall3 and girls in hall2,don't know what's wrong with UNIBEN,
