Yonddaime: lol..Dat happens to be d most stressful document to get. You can get yours in Lagos. you don't have to travel to your state just for that. there are branches in Lagos well stationed to serve you the certificate if you do justice to some questions. There are many liaison offices in Ikoyi/Victoria island where you can get yours. I will post the address later. |

Ksslib: Whatsupp ma Nigga!
My admission status? *sigh** I was very optimistic that my name was going to come out but where did optimism take me?
When I heard the list was out, I logged on to jamb's site and surprisingly, my heart was beating faster than humanly possible and that was when I relaised the Big role my admission was going to play at this crucial point in my life, be it positive or otherwise. This was it, what was going to make or mar me was just lying there, waiting for the click of a button. Clicked on admission status, put in myjamb reg no and clicked check admission status.
What i saw made me feel in a way ive never in my life felt before. Ray, uniben didn't give me my first course. If they even gave me Mathematics, my second choice, I wouldn't have complained bro.
Now i truly know why they say uniben is unpredictable. There it was, Dear ****s*** ***u******** you have been offered admission to study Production Engineering in the University of Benin. Faculty of engineering bla bla..
I was elated. Though I didn't get my elect/elect, I got something equally as good. At the end, na Godwin.
Back to my earlier statement "where did optimism take me"? It took me somewhere.
Another phase of life Begins. Ray, thanks for your concern so far. I really do appreciate, trust me I do. I rarely like to meet with people i know online in real life but I think you are an exception. Whatever you order for is on me the day we meet in school. #one love## wow wow wow!!! Ksslib my man! you just played snooker wit my mind now. lol. the way you started your story immured me in gloom. I was like..." what's this guy saying? wasn't he admitted?" Then as the rhythm reached a crescendo, You crowned it up with 'production Engineering". I am so happy for you! we shall meet, hopefully! |

Vibesking: Alright, I've been reading ya'll comments and testimonies and you seem to neglect one fact. You were given admission through Jamb's portal so what next? Have you noticed you can't begin clearance as long as that admission status doesn't reflect on Kofa? Then hold on again, what if you are given a different course on Kofa that doesn't correspond to that of Jamb when the 2nd list is out? Also, what if Jamb granted you admission and Kofa says 'not admitted'? I hope you guys understand what am talking about.. Your admission is still pending as long as your Kofa says 'submitted' even if you were given admission by Jamb. The stuff needs to reflect on both portals before you can start singing victory songs! This is timely! well done.. |

Godwin10: Yes true, it doesn't change anything. I never knew the mods were the one handling the thread all this while. You were just lost in the booze of happiness and came up with the suggestion and boom everything went the other way. What's wrong with the former? It's not like we are totally done with the admission guide, clearance also awaits us days from now. Well, if others welcome it, there is no problem with that. I am just stating how things are supposed to go, except the mods say otherwise. Congrats Ray I suggested that with pure intents and not to aggravate the emotional plight of the yet-to-be-admitted. I don't think the mods are the oars of this thread, they just have that sole superiority to change things. you planted this thread months ago and now it has grown so wild, and also now a reference point for all questions vis-à-vis Uniben admission. It's a laudable feat i admire. you have been very helpful beyond the measure of words. thanks. I am sorry if by any means, the changed title has hurt anyone. I glory not in the lows of others. aloha! |

Godwin10: The name shouldn't have been changed. Assume you didn't gain admission, now wear their shoes for a minute and tell me how you feel. I understand perfectly. The change of name doesn't stop others from gaining admission as opined by some people. It was a suggestion that the mods welcomed. one thing is certain, this can never stop anyone from gaining admission. my 2cents |

Giitheon: RHYME OF VICTORY: Willing to win we took the step. Craving for the best,we were buried in books. Calling on God saying'LORD we need your help' Trusting in him alone,we never wanted to be crooks. We've been taught to roll the dice nd have some faith. ...those words that say, never doubt even if u dont know your fate. Many great achievements were based on mathematicaly uncertainty. YES! We were optimists, but with great respect for reality. Reality can thus be likened to plastic, easily shapped by d heat of grave williness. Hence, our dreams can be likened to 'elastic' easily stretched to yield poin if we eliminate all laziness. We have spent time to study, d evidence is clearly seen from my face down to my body. With our parent chanting, increasing our sorrow, but God be praised,we finally have rest for d blood in our marrow. And now,we transcend, Asccending in a cascade of victory that knows no end!! For those who do not yet sing these songs of victory, never relent, because God's seed for u may grow to a much bigger tree!! Cheers.....wrote dis in anticipation of admition.....i am thankful to God for all of us... liked! Powerful write. |

naijaboiy: Yea,you are also right. Some aspirants may be confused and so they need the help of people.
Back then I did mine in the comfort of my home with my system, scanner and printer. Lol. There are many people who would go to school and start theirs though, which in my opinion is too late and a bit stressful because it goes in line with the physical clearance.
For the step by step guide, what every admitted student has to do first is to get all the required documents listed in his/her admission letter and then he can move ahead to submit them online.
Have you got the list? I'll see if I can post it later on here for those who have not seen it and for others to clarify. I have posted the requirements here. I have also posted formats for two affidavits. I can't dig out those stuff now. The bottom line is, if anyone wants to clear, he or she should be meticulously guided. some are not conversant with certain Internet processes. 45k is not moimoi. |
