BREAKING NEWS:2016 BATCH A (STREAM 11) ORIENTATION TO COMMENCE MONDAY. The Management of the National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all prospective Corps members that the President, Commander-in-chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved and released funds to the Scheme to hold its planned Orientation course. Consequently, Management of the Scheme has scheduled the 2016 Batch A Stream 11 Orientation course to commence from MONDAY 13th JUNE to WEDNESDAY 29th JUNE 2016 Nationwide. Prospective Corps members are expected to log on to the NYSC Portal to commence printing of their Call-up letters from TUESDAY, 7th JUNE 2016 by 12noon as the earlier printed Call-up letters are now invalid. While those who did not subscribe for online printing should start collection of Call-up letters from THURSDAY 9th JUNE from their various institutions of graduation. Management also wishes to thank all stakeholders in exercising patience for this new date and wishes all prospective Corps members a hitch free orientation exercise. SIGNED Management

Ministry of finance is yet to release funds approved by the President to NYSC mgt" Even a blind/deaf person can pick the lies in this statement out. The President approved it, but the ministry of finance is yet to give it out. 1. if there's no fund truly, why did the President approve nysc request. 2. Oh! The President thought there's still money in the treasury. Which means, he's unaware of the available reserve. Those old fools we call elders in this country are just to greedy to leave a penny for the youth. Go to places and confirm my bla bla bla, go to most government offices, those mud*fu cker's are lowering their age even when they've gotten to the retirement level. They buried us with the irony " the youths are the leaders of tomorrow" please tommorow when? Ha ha ha. Our country Nigeria is yet to produce the youngest President in history. Pals, please when last did you listen to the news and smile. In Nigeria that's called fairy tale, cos there's nothing actually new in our news. They've forgotten that even the rich also cry. They spend millions of naira and dollars to make sure they give their children the best at the expense of the masses but our God is a God of vengeance. Their children are yet to produce an anointing oil, after reading physics, chemistry and despite the millions they spend on them. Our constitution is as good as a pornographic magazine. Do we even know it's a serious offence to dish wrong information, lie on the media, that poker face Called director general SZ kazaure came on air to fool millions of Nigerians that we'll be camping this week that is already gone. And he's going to get away with that after violating the media act. They continue to treat us like the vocabulary "IRRELEVANT", just because they know we know nothing. Nysc Facebook page is only good for posting those beautiful places the DG went to. Dear youths of tomorrow! I challenge us to take a bold step, do the necessary, let's take it by the head not the tail like we did the last time. Let's stop all commercial activities in the state, not in a violent way nor a peaceful way. Lets do the necessary now, before they shatter our hopes Forever. Thanks. copied

The Federal Government said it will not succumb to agitations from some quarters to scrap the National Youth Service Corps scheme.
The Minister of Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Solomon Dalong, while speaking in Lagos during an inspection tour of the Lagos State NYSC orientation camp in the Iyana Ipaya area of the state said, the scheme had come to stay, adding that its merits outweighed its disadvantages.
The minister said, the scheme apart from enhancing the socio-cultural and ethnic integration in the country had also promoted national unity.
